Location is walkable, bed was surprisingly comfortable but with no AC it was warm.

There was no AC and the room got warm, tv didn’t work (kept saying it could not connect to network), the price did not reflect the value of the room in my opinion, $730 total for two nights is a bit high. Around $450/500 would have been more reasonable. I wasn’t aware that cleaners would come into my room also while I was away, so they moved some of my stuff. If I had known, I would have moved it to the side or organized it better.

This cute little boutique hotel is full of charm, and in a prime location. It is my go-to hotel for short stopovers when traveling solo or with my wife. Beds are comfy, vibe is cozy and welcoming, little backyard area is an oasis. The staff are just so polite, professional and friendly.

The location is great! Lots of nice restaurants, cafes and wine bars close by. The staff was super friendly and gave us many tips.

It may have been the season (Christmas holidays), but the price was outrageous for the room that we got (cozy, but tiny).

Centrally located and wonderful, modern artistically decorated. Staff was wonderful.

Rooms are very small. There is no elevator. There is no coffee or food available on premises, but there are breakfast places very near.

The Metro Hotel is an excellent hotel in a great part of San Francisco. The staff here were absolutely fantastic, really easy to talk to, gave useful insight into the local areas and even drew key points on a map. The room itself was modern, spacious and clean, with nice fixtures and fittings. If I come back to San Francisco, I would try to stay here again!

It was a little pricey given it was primarily just a room without any additional hotel facilities.

The Metro is a home from the beginning. It is simple, small and a bit crooked but is is full of heartiness. The owner (?) helps you with anything and gives you good guidance especially for the Haights. A good place to start your trip to SF. Arnold

Super friendly and helpful staff, they recommended great restaurants and even gave us a kettle with 3 cups so that we could make tea. Quaint victorian building.

We were there in late December and our room was supercold. We were freezing cold all the time. We had a portable electric heater but as soon as we switched it off, the room became cold again. Shower wasn’t great either

The hotel is in a great location, just a short walk from great shops and cafes on Haight Street, and super close to a bus stop to travel around the city. The decor is really lovely, staff were really friendly and the bed was SO comfy! There’s some great local cafes and restaurants around Divisadero too

The only slight downside was our room was tiny, but it was actually fine for just two of us and we did book a small double!
