Great location. Right across from the beach and pier. Well kept resort grounds and facilities, and very charming. A bit older feeling but we liked that about it. Just around the corner from some GREAT restaurants and bars.

The staff did not seem overly friendly anytime we interacted with them at the desk. We were enjoying a drink by the fireplace outfront and being respectful, and they came out at 11pm promptly with no warning and turned the fire places off. They didn't ask us to leave though, and again didn't give warning or ask how long we may be. Why they didn't just let us finish our drinks prior to turning off the fire still baffles me. They were there all night and could have just waited to see us leave.

The room was spacious and very clean. No views, but I wasn't expecting one. You are literally right across the street from the beach, so I few steps outside gives you amazing views. The bed was very comfy too. The staff was excellent - friendly and helpful! The outdoor spaces were clean and welcoming.

It's not a secure property (no gates to enter the courtyard and hotel rooms) which wasn't a concern until we saw a man walking across the lawn with what turned out to be a machete. That was a little unnerving, although it seemed the staff handled it right away.

I liked how close to the beach the hotel is, I liked the firepits out front of hotel , we sat out there on our last evening. I would like an upstairs room next time we visit and not so close to the pool where we hear everything. I liked that we could get beach chairs from hotel and sit on the beach. We always like eating at Chad's cafe.

We didn't like having our room right in front of the pool , we can hear everyone until 10pm. Suggestion, maybe only put people over in that area that travel with children. One of the days our room didn't get cleaned, we had to ask for more towels, cups and creamer for coffee.

The location was fantastic. The outside seating area was excellent. The staff were all helpful and responsive.

The rooms were underwhelming and in need of renovation and some TLC. We had two rooms in our party and both were stale, with a mildew smell. The décor was older and IMO, not on par with the nightly rates. Also, we could constantly hear the people in neighboring rooms and outside so the walls/floors are thin.

Location and amenities. The pool and spa was nice, easy access to dog areas and quiet intimate setting

The room was a bit outdated with older bathrooms and beds were squeaky, vanity was very small, not enough room to put toiletries. Nowhere to dry the wet swimsuits, no balcony or patio. Overall it was too expensive. There was plenty of parking on site so the valet was useless and unnecessary. We had to roll the luggage past our car to the front desk and then have valet pull up our car…another way to make you pay more…

We had a delightful stay at this Santa Barbara gem with my boyfriend. The breathtaking view of the beach, coupled with complimentary amenities like bikes, beach chairs, and hot tubs, made our experience truly memorable. The staff's attentiveness and quick response to our needs, along with their thoughtful suggestion of safe alternate parking spots, added to the positive experience.

The absence of a microwave in the room was a minor inconvenience, as it would have been handy for warming up leftovers. Despite this, our overall stay was fantastic, and we would highly recommend this hotel for its scenic location and excellent service.

Expansive hotel property right across from the pier and beach, with a gorgeous park right in the middle. At night they light up their fire pits and you can sit and have wine and smores!

Since it was raining we did spend some time in the room watching movies and doing pampering activities. We noticed the walls are a tad thin so we could hear our neighbors and you can heard the doors slam to close. The metal headboards were a little tough to lean on as well, but if that’s the only thing to complain about, I’d come back in a heart beat!!

My husband and I spent our honeymoon week in SB at the hotel Milo and we had the best time! The whole stay exceeded all of our expectations! They gave us two complimentary bottles of champagnes and chocolates ans set up towel swans and roses on the bed! So sweet. We loved everything from the snacks and drinks at front desk to the location. We loved the bikes provided and rode around town using them all week. The valet boys were super Sweet and helpful everyday with recommendations and advice about where to eat and hang out around SB. We will 100% be back again soon! Thank you!

There’s nothing we didn’t like!

The hotel and location were very good. After a little hiccup with our allocated room ( problem with hot water out of both taps) and the room looking out onto a wall making it dark and gloomy ( one night would have been ok but three we thought….no) The staff were more than helpful and apologetic and moved us to an upgraded room which was wonderful . Rosemary Ann was particularly helpful and friendly it was lovely to meet her. No breakfast on site but nice restaurant’s within walking distance especially Jeannies.

Our stay at the hotel Mil was absolutely wonderful. Our rooms had two Queen size beds. Lots of room area to walk around a lovely little dressing area with excellent lighting to do your make up and bathroom with the usual facilities. It was all extremely clean and we had a lovely coffee machine with complimentary coffee and milk, plus a safe to look up valuables. The betting was beautiful and soft and the bed was super comfy and after a day cycling around Santa Barbara, using the hotels complimentary bicycles, you drifted off to sleep straight away. The hotel also used the l’ocittaine hair and body wash products ! The staff went above and beyond our expectations, so friendly, so helpful, always finding solutions to any problems that we had, they really were very impressive. There are lovely little seating areas that you can find around the hotel a nice quiet little corner to read your book or take a complimentary tea or Coffee and watch the beautiful butterflies dancing around the wonderful sculptured gardens or just sit and watch the world go by. That’s a hotel has an adequate gym and two different pool areas to utilise which are beautifully maintained and complimentary towels offered and also plenty of sunshades around the pool area and also beautiful little cabanas for the whole family to occupy. The hotel is in a perfect location directly opposite Santa Barbara beach with just a short walk to State Street which has lots of restaurants and shops for you to browse in. There’s plenty of Ubers to take you places directly from The Milo Hotel. If you had your own car there was plenty of street parking and parking at the hotel. Next time I’m in Santa Barbara I’m definitely booking into The Mili Hotel Nikki Western Australia

Although there were plenty of restaurants close by to have meals at, I would like to have been able to have breakfast at the hotel. My sister loves the gym life so was really pleased to see the hotel had a gym, just one or two pieces of the equipment wasn’t working. We told the staff who said they would get it looked at.
