The view was exceptional. Quiet, peaceful and close to multiple places to eat and drink as well as catch live music. You might get lucky and catch some baby turtles. Seriously though, the peace is unexplainable.

Not all rooms have a stove but we made the burner work. Would be nice if the options for rooms were available at booking so you can book the proper tier. There are different views per room as well as ovens, etc. taking a bit of time and letting folks book the room they truly want would be great. I called when I was booking asking about view, etc. and wasn’t greeted with much help or someone with knowledge. Water pressure in shower head was non existent and seal was blown cause water was coming out of everywhere around the connection. Wasn’t enough of a bother to call facilities on the weekend. I’m certain they would have fixed it had we called just wasn’t that big of a deal.

The location was perfect because it was a short walk to the water. The location of the hotel was very convenient to local businesses for shopping and restaurants.

I didn’t sleep well because the bed was very stiff. The temperature was missing from the old oven knob so it was a guessing game when baking. The stove was so old that I wouldn’t feel comfortable cooking on it and the oven smelled so bad I needed to have the hotel door open to air the place out while it was in use. I chose this unit based on the full kitchen but after one attempt to heat up precooked breaded shrimp, I was too nervous to use it again.

Well maintained. Very friendly and accommodating staff, they really went above and beyond! Just steps to the beach and they offer a lot of amenities/extra comforts during your stay. Beautiful landscaping!

No complaints! Our stay was phenomenal and we will definitely be back!

Loved being right on the beach,

We lost hot water in our unit. Staff did not offer a different room, but said they would have it fixed. The next day it was NOT fixed, The staff did not let us know what the problem was nor when it would be fixed. So two days of cold showers was not pleasant. We would have appreciated a note letting us know.

I think the room needs a sit back comfortable chair set, even if it’s a fold up in closet! The round table snd two chairs are too cheesy. Bottom line, you come home or back in the dark and it’s hard to relax in a bed and watch tv or news! Also, I think rather than have an efficiency set up, have an shareable area for quick breakfast and or a5 0’clock happy hour! We loved the privacy and likely will have to take a different room for back comfort the next time!

This was one of those hidden gems, an older independent hotel that was well run and in a great location. The beach was exceptional and the room was large and recently renovated. There was a kitchenette and large fridge though we did not use it much. Of course the fact we left 10 degree weather and arrived to mid 70s temperatures helped out mood.

Nothing the hotel could have done - traffic in the area was heavy during the time we were there.

The room was clean... was close to the beach, the place was very quiet... which is what we like. the staff were very nice and gave us a great list of places to eat at. We would go back and stay there again...!

the room was not dark enough when going to sleep, by that I mean, the outside lights were shining into our room and making it feel like day light... we would recommend using a darker curtain and shades to keep the light from slipping in.

great location but all stores and restaurants were a drive away.

the only thing that wasn’t the best would be the dead fish on the beach. idk if they are to remove them or if someone else does. it was a bit smelly at times but not overbearing

The location was awesome! Being on a private beach was great, and there were lots of shells and shark teeth to be found. It was also close to other public beaches that we were able to enjoy as well.

The only thing that wasn't great was that we stayed in a lower unit and the unit above us had children that were running around and making a lot of noise.

The location right on the beach on was great. The quiet was perfect. Water was pristine. Parking was very convenient. Staff was very laid back. Just what we wanted and needed!

Bed and couch were very uncomfortable. The internet and phone coverage sucked...but we didn't care!
