We had an excellent stay at Tropirock. Staff was very friendly and accommodated a slightly early check-in from the start. $10 parking on site and super easy access to rooms. The hotel group offers use of any of their pools within proximity, which was amazing. One pool across the street had a bar, which was excellent. Our boy loved the pools! As mentioned in other reviews, the rooms themselves are a bit dated, but this was not an issue for us. We had the larger room with pull out couch which was great for our child. The rooms were cleaned thoroughly in advance, and had quality A/C in each room (unit in bedroom is loud, but we use white noise anyways so was no issue for us). I was a bit skeptical about these hotel/motel style properties in the area, but after staying here and later on at one of the beach side resorts, I would opt for this place in a heartbeat. Way more chill, great access to local food/coffee spots and away from the clientele that some of the other big names attract. Would highly recommend for families or anyone looking for a relaxing time in a busy city.

Facilities were good overall, but some small upkeep wouldn’t hurt. Better sealing of door to outside would help for security and keeping in cold air. Shower faucets were in bad shape and leaked regularly. All minor stuff in the end.

Great location close to the beach and walking distance to the Center with all restaurants and entertainment. Hotel provides beach towels. Room was big enough for 4 ppl, kitchenette was clean and had a fridge, gas stove , microwave, toaster and coffee maker. Staff was very nice, when we arrived the guy at the reception offered us to check a few other rooms and choose the best one for us (the first one that he checked us into needed some repairs and was smaller in size)

It would be nice if the hotel offered beach chairs and umbrellas, like some other hotels in the area do.

We loved the first impression appearance. The architecture is typical Florida colonial style. The cleanliness is spot on. Shout out to housekeeping and groundskeepers. Even during the little hurricane, the grounds were kept clean. The hotel is ADA friendly. The staff is welcoming and friendly. Although, the building itself is old, the rooms were updated and immaculate. The hotel is within a block or too of good eats. And, the best part? The beachfront and boardwalk was only a block away. We spent the afternoon beachcombing and store front shopping. We will be back.

Absolutely everything!! From the moment we got there, the man who checked us in was so kind. He even walked us to our room and made sure we had everything we needed. The property was super clean and beds were comfortable. The neighborhood was nice and we felt safe. We loved walking a short distance to the beautiful beach!! Would definitely recommend staying here and we will be staying here next time we come to the area!!

It's a nice little hotel and I was quite pleased that I stayed there. The room was clean large and I have to say the shower was phenomenal, super high pressure, lots of hot water also full size soap bars and body wash. Not like so many that just give you a sliver of soap. Overall very nice and would definitely stay there again!

Having to pay for parking sucked, and if they actually provided decent blankets for the bed.

Love this place! Went for a vacation with two kids during spring break. It was still quite despite of all students. Great location about 5 min walk to the ocean, reastrants, gardens, shops are pretty close. Cleaning was great and very friendly staff. We pay extra 10$ per day for parking-which is ok. Heated pool great for kids. Very happy to find this place

window walls so everybody can see you otherwise it's too dark in the room.

Customer service was above and beyond even for the hospitality industry! Through a completely random series of events we were upgraded to a beautiful king suite and it was wonderful! Location was great and accessible. So much to do within walking distance, the beach was close, not crowded and beautiful water. Cant wait to go back next year!

Facility was a little dated, but beautiful and charming, and you can tell the staff is dedicated to maintaining and making updates

This is a nice little hotel on a fairly quiet street close to the beaches. Although it took a while for the staff to come to the front office when we were trying to check in, all the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms had everything we needed, and everything was clean. The pool area was nice as well.

Some stuff was a little rundown, such as a leaky bathroom faucet

The photos were accurate. I reserved a room with two queen beds, small kitchen (with basic glassware and cooking utensils) and large dining table. Check in was easy; Nickolas was a great--provided us with a local map and pointed out places of interest. Gave us a coupon for the tapas/wine bar to try. Staff during my stay were available if I wanted anything extra. Pool was clean and nice and there is even a pretty garden with grill and tables under a tent to use! Beds were comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom were updated (microwave and oven, new bathroom sink) Car parking spot right in front too.

Extra hooks in the bathroom for towels, bathing suits, etc. Safe is on the floor but it is too hard to use.

It more of a motel rather than hotel vibe, but the room was clean and comfortable, the staff were nice, it had a pool, and was maybe a block back from the beach. There was a nice sushi place nearby. After closeby convenience store - pantry? shut, CVS was closest place to buy drinks and snacks. Noise did really travel from pool, but I politely said this to man being loud when I was sleeping and he receivwd it well and lowered volume and I was able go go back to sleep. I was in an adjoining room and noise from family in next room also travelled, but when I raised this I was also able to go back to sleep. And adjoining room was vacant rest of my stay. All in all, would recommend and would stay there again.
