Size of the room was great, loved having a balcony and extra seating in the room. Coffee/tea maker in the room! And a fridge! Super comfy bed and friendly staff! Happy hour at the bar. Good location, close to supermarket, bars, restaurants, busstops, skytrain, river. The pool was nice but the water was really cold. Nice for a quick dip on hot days though.

Noisy AC, price was a bit on the high end and it was also paid parking (I decided not to get a car and just used the public transport or walked everywhere or used uber). Showers water pressure was ok. I booked with breakfast but received limited breakfast vouchers from reception, it wasn't mentioned when I looked at the options that it was a limited breakfast. In the end, they didnt have a la carte on the days I was there and so I was still able to use the buffet.

no transportation in the area, even to the airport. had to rent a car for the whole stay; some of the staff are helpful and smiling but not all. one of them was almost rude.

Beautiful location It is easy to get around seeing places and back to the hotel. Had everything you needed. Breakfast was amazing, wonderful staff & service. Lunch and dinner with cocktails. Will definitely be staying here again. Perfect trip and very relaxing.

Self parking is ok if you are lucky to get by the Riverwalk area. Otherwise, it's not an area that at night has many lights. But nothing you can't change if you are ok with valet parking.

Located right on the river walk. The front desk, valet and housekeeping staff were welcoming and friendly. The breakfast included in our rate was served inside the Pier 1515 hotel restaurant. It was a great, hot breakfast served by friendly staff.

First impression of the exterior of the hotel and immediate surroundings aren’t great. It feels a little sketchy but once you enter the hotel it has a much better vibe. The pool is really small and uninviting for a hotel that size. Not really a walkable area as there aren’t many shops/stores/restaurants in the immediate area.

I like the price I only stayed one night was their for a concert the staffing was amazing the line went quick I was asked have I ever been here before I'm like no so they informed me about the pool and the bar I also liked that it was a quiet hotel and the cable this is definitely my go to hotel when I go back to Jacksonville

How small the soap was I thought it was candy so definitely bring your own soap. Their was a issue with my cc where the incidental fee didn't come off all the way on my cc (250 refundable damage if their is no damage) their was about 180 left on the card i stayed at the hotel in June it just got taken off like the beginning of this month(august).... It was hassle don't really know who fault it was I was told too call the bank then call the hotel all I know is my last phone call this month the hotel took care of it :)(August) also you can't use the microwave in the room but it's one down stairs that you can use

Check-in was smooth. Rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. The Wi-Fi was free, and no passwords were needed during our stay. There was a banquet going on, but I heard no sounds from it in my room.

The only thing that I didn't like about my stay was paying extra for parking. Parking should be included in the price of the stay. They charged $12 per day of your stay. The charge was $18 per day if you used valet parking.

I really loved my at the Southbank Hotel. I traveled for work and the people were so friendly and accommodating. One of the staff Kevin went above and beyond helping me with hot water and cutlery for a mid-day meal. He was out actually helping many guests and did so with a smile on his face. The hotel bar is a great place for happy hour and a meal. I ate there twice and had great conversations with others.

It is not close to many attractions.

The hotel was large but the staff was very personable and accommodating. I liked all the different sitting areas so even if several groups were accumulated, there was still plenty of areas to gather with your own group

Maybe to get a snack between 12pm and 3 since breakfast was 7am-11am ( great time) and other restaurant didn't open til 4pm. When we checked in about 12:30 we had to find somewhere to get something to eat.

I was there because my daughter was having her baby and needed a place close by. It was close to the hospital and the room was immaculate. The staff was friendly.

My door didn't want to close all the way so I had to push it in to lock it and the curtains didn't cover the whole window. A street light shined in my eyes all night. The A/C would not turn off after I set the temp so I froze all night.

Our destination was TIAA Bank field. We stayed at South Bank because it is right across the river. The water taxi is literally steps away. Dropped our car at the valet and went to the game. After the game, finished checking in, had a shower, and dinner in the bar, and a good night's sleep. The hotel is clean and modern. The staff are exceptional, all of them were friendly and professional. I look forward to staying there again.
