First time at the San Juan and I am very satisfied. It's a quiet hotel with familiar vibes, and I felt immediately at home. The staff are super kind and helpful. The pool area is pleasant and relaxing. A good plus is the complimentary umbrella + two chairs at the beach, which was very welcome. My room needed some renovation but everything was very clean (towels included), comfortable and functioning. All in all, it was a great stay and can't wait to be back. Thanks to all the staff for treating me well.

The place was what I wanted... a clean room in a nice hotel with bar, on South Miami Beach. The Ritz Carlton is directly across the street....for 4 times as much and not any nicer. Claudio the desk manager made sure everything was as expected...he even reminded me my room included a free breakfast when I missed the first morning due to a meeting. They actually cared that I was getting my value worth. The breakfast as more than sufficient and poolside.

The thermostat had no readings...no temperature...no hot or cold....you just assumed up was hot, down was cold. It worked, got plenty cold.....and I am not complaining....it was fine...just pointing this out.

Hotel location is excellent, few steps from restaurants, drugstores, shops, liquor stores. One block from Lincoln Rd.. Also one block from the beach, where chairs and umbrella are offered free of charge. Beach/Pool towels provided. Staff are extremely attentive, helpful, friendly, can´t praise enough. Bedrooms are good-sized, new bed-linen and plenty of pillows. Free bottles of water available at reception. Valet service at US$ 42 + taxes/night.

Bedroom was very cold, and A/C in room is not adjustable; I had it shut down, but when window is open, the ventilalation system outside is very noisy (room 322). Small breakfast room.

Location, close to the beach w beach club, nice pool, clean rooms

The AC was very loud and extremely ❄️, we shifted to q higher temperature but it ok the whole night to catch up

Great location, swimming pool, friendly staff, near public parking, free umbrella, towels and lounge chairs on the beach.

Not cleaning every day. Very bad WiFi, also it blocked almost all ports exclude 80 and 443, if you traveler for work you can not use this WiFi to connect by RDP, VPN and other works services.

The location is perfect, The pull is nice , and the service staff was polite.

I got cold. Was unable to fix the air-conditioning.

Everything was according to the positive reviews. Very clean, the stuff were sweet and proactive. The courtyard was lovely and relaxing. My only complaint is that the type of sound insulation is poor therefore we hear: voices, steps from the unconsidered people, in the middle of the night. Some neighbors are noisy. Other than that was very good experience. Ahh bring your pillow

The noisy prople: 2am walking ‘on my head’ like nothing. The front desk could ‘educate’ people and suggest silence at certain time. Because there are more people with no clue of respect.

The San Juan Hotel is very close to all of the shops and restaurants along Collins as well as the beach. Access to the Boardwalk was easy. The Boardwalk was FANTASTIC. We walked miles and miles each day. All the way south around the city and north past mid-beach. You can spend hours walking each day exploring the beach/city.

There wasn't much that I didn't like. Since it was Spring Break you had your typical Spring Break crowd that made things less than desirable. The cost of eating out at restaurants was quite expensive. Make sure you watch out for the automatic 20% tip that's included with your bill (I made the mistake and believe I paid a ~40% tip!).

Walking distance to shops and restaurants and bars, they helped get our luggage out of the car, and parked my car for me, the room was on the first floor and had to go up steps and they carried all luggage for 4 females to our room.
