The convenience of the beach and nearby attractions

Check-in was at 4:00, upon booking I said 3:00, got there at 4 and had to wait two hours because the room wasn’t ready. got to the room and it was like the floor hadn’t been swept, it was literally full of sand. Bathroom sink was stopped up. Got no room service not sheets on the bed, didn’t even have an ice bucket.

We loved everything!!! The location was amazingly beautiful. Just the fact that we had a balcony facing the beach and that we, literally, were a feet of walking distance from the beach made this hotel worth $300 per night, but instead we paid under $100 per night. The room was clean and super spacious! My wife is super picky about cleanliness and she was very impressed with how clean the room was. All those Spoiled Prima Donna’s complaining about the Hotel being outdated and blah, blah, blah are exactly that…a bunch of Spoiled Prima Donna’s. These people are obviously ignorant and untraveled individuals who have no clue what they are talking about! “Oh! There was a roach in my room!” Oh please! Get a life people! We live in Florida, roaches are everywhere and no matter how much pest control you do in a property, a few roaches will come in from the outside when you leave the balcony door opened. Do like every normal person does, grab a sandal or a shoe and kill it! Stop Bxxxxing about it! Overall, the entire building looked great for being exposed to sea salt. Could it need some paint in some areas? Sure! But all of that takes money and for what this hotel charges it still a bargain deal. If you want a 5 star hotel, then get ready to pay $300-500 per night or even more. Like I said, just the location and the fact that the hotel had a balcony facing the beach makes those rooms worth $300 per night. And the employees were super nice and accommodating. Lisa was always in communication with us and it was just such a pleasant experience having the text feature to communicate with the staff. Me being a techie, I loved it.

My wife and I loved everything about the property! It’s a beachfront property! That alone makes this place amazing!

The best part of it all was the view of the ocean with its white sandy beach. The staff was great! Miss B went above and beyond to see that all was well with our stay. I would go back there in the future. The rates there are decent. There were some minor issues, but I wasn't expecting a 5-star resort, so we were quite content there and didn't feel the need to complain. We enjoyed our stay.

Just a couple of pointers for newcomers. The floors are tile, so bring some slippers or flip flops because the sand does find its way in. Request extra towels when needed because the staff won't go into your room when you are not there; which i like. Other than that, enjoy!

The other buildings around the area are almost skyscrapers in their dimensions and it's quite uninviting, so not great for pedestrians

loved the location I just wished we would have had a king room with kitchenette, more than two towels other than that I have no major complaints the price was good for the room I dont understand some of the reviews if people would understand that this is not a resort they should give better reviews cause I was happy with what we had

the fire alarm waking me up one morning but fire saftey people was there so I guess it wasn't the hotels fault and I feel like they need more towels and wash cloths in the room no biggie

Based on previous reviews we were skeptical about booking. But I'm glad we did. Our room was clean. Beds were comfortable. We had no problem getting extra towels from the front desk. Staff was friendly. Yes it is a older hotel and needs some upkeep but that's to be expected with a hotel of this age. Location was great. Has alot of parking. Would definitely stay again.

The elevator was slow but we didn't mind. I would suggest putting blinds up on the windows to the outside hallway. The light shines in most of the night and keeps u awake. We also kept smelling the neighbors smoking their "pot" next door.

amazing king suite, balcony overlooking Gulf of Mexico and beautiful beach, room spotless and comfortable. great place for 47th anniversary.

sadly, the winds and salt have eaten away the metals and concrete on stairs and in elevator. lots of decay and rust. they’re going to renovate soon. But our room showed no decay.

They let us check in earlier. The location was nice it’s close to alot of the main things in the city. Beach access was great!

I booked through booking.com but when I arrived they had an issue finding the reservation on their end so they had to make a new one & it was also difficult checking out for the same reason. There was ALOT of fruit flies in our room, the toilet was extremely loud. It could have been cleaner. The pool was dirty !! Extremely cloudy and full of trash, hair etc

The view from our balcony was fantastic, beautiful. You could see the first pier in Panama City beach from our balcony and easily walk to it from the beach or road. The staff was very nice and helpful. The price for our room with beautiful view was very good. Free WiFi. The pictures I have put on this rating were took from our balcony.

Smelled like someone was smoking pot next to us. We could smell pot in our room late in the evening. Lack of wash cloths, We started out with 2 wash cloths and 4 drying off towels. We needed a couple more later on during our stay and was told the linen service had not brought any more.So for the rest of our stay we had to use the 2 we started with and then on the last day there they brought us one new one.

I loved my little condo after we cleaned it. The location and the views were amazing!!

The place was filthy. Bugs crawling everywhere. Bacon grease under the trash bag in the trash can. Floors filthy!! They told me they would reimburse me two nights because of the condition of the room and they didn't! It took me and my husband 3 days to clean it! They never came to our room. We needed to go get our sheets etc. and they were sometimes dirty and we had to exchange them. It was gross. The pool was filthy and it wasn't heated as advertised!!!
