This was our first family vacation and we were very pleased with everything the hotel has to offer.

Maybe the lazy river open longer than it’s offered like the pool. The poolside chairs had a sign to worn patrons of saving chairs, but I don’t think it was really monitored like the sign said. Especially when people wake up at 5am to put their towels on the lounge wand go back to their hotel rooms and sleep. This needs to be monitored more for people who are actually there at the pool to have a place to sit and lay out. It’s not for those others who leave and go back to sleep or go to the beach and want a spot saved for later.

This was seriously one of the best resort getaways I’ve been to! I love that there was the water park plus the beach option. Live music and the night shows were awesome… very kids friendly! The staff and rooms were great as well… I don’t have one complaint… definitely will be booking there anytime we go to panama city for a getaway.

There is nothing I didn’t like!

It was so very kid friendly! We had a BLAST and there was so much for our children to do. Plus a little parents afternoon out which we enjoyed.

Our only complaint was the breakfast buffet cost. 40$ a person is crazy to me. We’ve been to many resorts and this is by far the highest buffet cost we’ve seen.

We rented the beach loungers from 8 to 5. Our 2nd day the worker came to take chairs up before 4 pm stating that their hours had been cut and the time was now 8 to 4 for rental. However, the sign still said 8 to 5. He said they just hadn't changed it yet. Last year it was $50.00 to rent and this year $60.00. I noticed they had no problem changing that information on the sign, so I don't understand why they couldn't have changed the time. We were not even told when we rented the chairs they would be taken up at 4 pm instead of 5pm. Only 1 guy did that...the other 2 days we rented the chairs we were able to stay until 5 pm. We already had to pay $10.00 more than just a year ago AND were shortened on the time. Not happy about that!

This place is great. I traveled with my wife and three kids and we had so much fun. We went before in 2018 and since then they have added a lazy river and this is such a great addition. There is so much to do on the resort, a big pool with a waterfall, smaller warmer pool for kids, adult hot tub and a splash park for kids plus the lazy river. You really don’t have much reason to leave the resort. Good food options too! Easy and quick access to the beach with showers right on the edge to rinse off any sand. Rooms were clean and very cute. We were on the 12th floor and the view was beautiful! We will be back.

The pizza that we ordered from the resort was a little gross, kind burnt and the bottom was hard. We also visited Panama during “bike week” and that was a nightmare but this is no fault of the hotel.

I love the location. I loved that it was right there on the beach and we could just go from family environment of the pool setting to the beach to live music and all of the entertainment constantly something going on or just made you feel comfortable almost like a second home.

I didn’t like the nasty elevator. The glass looked totally gross and was really dirty in and out the elevators people brought in sand and mopping and cleaning in the hallways constantly the elevators were never clean. They constantly smell, dank and mildew, and I checked out several rooms there before I chose mine and they were not clean. They smelled very bad like moisture and mildew from people coming in with water and wet stuff. The room I finally chose smelled very nice and much better and I chose that it was great room.

The people were amazing!! This place was very prepared to serve people. They go above and beyond for every guest. Not just one. I am 54 and have gone a lot of places. This place was so amazing! Rose at the bar was amazing. Al, the server was so amazing. We loved them both. The view has amazing food. Don't let the prices scare you. Kids eat free, and it all evens out.They also had the best entertainment and things for the kids to do a whole activity room. There is so much more I want to say. You just have to go....

2 women Bartenders that were very mean. One day and one night

The food was delicious and the few rainy times did not shut anything down.

Our room close to elevators was super noisy at 600 AM each day.

The room was very nice and the staff was as well.

The View restaurant left a LOT to be desired. The first night I didn't get my entree until my two guests had finished theirs. The server was very non-plussed when advised because she was asking if we wanted anything else and I said, yes, my entree. The breakfast buffet was way overpriced and our silverware was dirty. Room service meals were burnt and they charged us twice for a dessert that my guest went downstairs and paid for at the restaurant but they also charged it to my room. The View leaves a lot to be desired for it being the "star" food venue.

We had a wonderful time as a family of three with a toddler. Rooms were clean and beds were good. The beach was calm and clear, but they also have a nice pool, lazy river and splash pad. There are some points to be update but it seems that they are always aware of it and making sure that you have a good experience. You can have restful beach/pool days with kids, they have everything you need (just be aware that you will pay for it unless you bring some stuff you need from home).

The hotel seems to be at it’s capacity and there were lines at the elevators all the time, but it wasn’t something that bothered us much. It can be noisy in the rooms sometimes because they have loud music all day long (sometimes until 9pm). We missed more shadow spaces in the pool area. Food is good, but for those staying one week long they should definitely consider adding more healthy options and natural juices at the bar as natural smoothies, bowls and wraps. Breakfast buffet is beautiful but it’s pricey for bigger families that stay longer.
