What a quaint sea town! It was like stepping back in time! The hotel itself was very nice and as you walk in the front door a gorgeous white marble floor with dark wooden furniture and old fashioned light fixtures adorn the lobby. A distinguished gentleman greeted me at the front desk and was so mild mannered and polite. A fantastic porch off the second floor is a delight to sit on and relax while overlooking the river.

The rooms are a bit outdated - but afterall that is a part of your experience.

Interesting historic hotel right downtown. Inexpensive for one quick stop over while traveling through.

Thought my room had a terrace with a view of the river but the terrace was just a door that went out to the side rooftop. The fitted sheet on one of the beds had stains. I don’t think it was dirty, but slept on the other bed just in case.

Another excellent stay at the Riverview Hotel, thanks to all the staff for giving us a great time. Looking forward to staying again in the future. A lovely spot with great food and entertainment, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.

This is a great hotel set in the heart of St Mary's. The views across the bay are spectacular, I sat out overy night on the porch each night which was great. Friendly staff and great food.

The location is great, all facilities, staff and food. Also the history of the hotel is interesting.

Old-fashioned cute hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff and a nice cosy bar. Restaurant looks nice but we ate somewhere else. Simple but good continental breakfast in the morning with good coffee!

Beds were more on the small side for a queen size and there was a smoke protector blinking the whole night.

Location, historic area, river front view, friendly town and friendly staff, National Park Service Cumberland Island Visitor Center and Ferry across the street.

Continental breakfast was a bit light on options.

What a great place , nice location and staff . Lovely room and although we didn’t quite get sea view it was the most comfortable bed and bedding I ever slept in . Nice bar and restaurant on site and great value

It is a charming hotel. It sits on the waterfront just across from where you would get the ferry to go to Cumberland Island. Has a great restaurant and the vibe is wonderful.

Location was excellent being directly across from the ferry to Cumberland that we were taking. The room was clean and breakfast offered several options. Frankie that worked evenings at the desk was very helpful and we enjoyed talking with her. We had a beautiful view from our room. We are a great grouper sandwich and baked potato at the restaurant on the property.

The bathtub was very slippery so be CAREFUL!

Great location with great view of the river. Very friendly staff. Room very comfortable. Nice old-fashioned hotel. Enjoyed light breakfast in morning.

Restaurant on property was closed so only in-site food available was from Saloon which was very limited.
