This mansion and the service provided are awesome. It is first class. The landlady has been successful in restoring this property back to how it must have been when new. She also can tell you the complete history of this place and its seroundings. The furniture reminds you of bygone times when this beautiful mansion was build exept for the mattresses, which is a blessing. In the evenings the stylish living room is very inviting and the lady of the house places bottles of wine for your enjoyment and soft background music in style is piped into the sitting room all night, so that you really feel like you have traveled back in time. The breakfast is phenomenal, it’s being served by the landlady herself. She uses produce from the vegetable and herb garden plus other ingredients combined into a lovely starter and even more delightful main brackfast course prepared for you taking your taste and or dietary needs into account. You can also enjoy her extensive knowledge of the island and its history. And for me, coming from the Netherlands, “THE COFFEE WAS GREAT” which is exceptional in the US. We were expected to book in the Ritz Carlton for a wedding and could not get a room. So happy we found this place instead. My wife and I enjoyed our stay beyond our expectations. Breakfast was wonderful. Facility was beautiful ad very well maintained. Location was easily walkable to restaurants and the Center Street retail area.

I booked on booking.com and the listing did NOT mention that the private bathroom was across the hall. When we arrived, this was quite a surprise. Had I known this, I would have requested a different room. To be fair, this was clear on the Amelia Williams House website, but not mentioned at all on Booking.com

The staff was the biggest part of the excellent stay. The Bed and Breakfast was beyond excellent, location to many locations is perfect. Beautiful area and House, the special details from the staff is why I rated this stay so high.

Amazing historical bed and breakfast. The house staff was very friendly and accommodating to anything we needed. The location was perfect next to the downtown area. Breakfast was very enjoyable in the moring.

We loved our stay at Williams House. Lovely breakfast, perfect location in the historic downtown and our room was well appointed and comfortable with a balcony overlooking a large live oak. Our host, Veronica provided a history of the house and other pertinent tourist information. Our meals at Espana and Davids were memorable!

Ms. Veronica was very knowledgeable, kind, and professional. All meals we absolutely amazing. From the presentation to the taste, nothing was lacking. The rooms were stunning. Everything was beyond our expectations.

Only thing we would change is it being closer to home. Still a day trip away though.

Everything! We loved the house. The stay was amazing. The room was spacious. The bed was very comfortable. We usually struggle with back pain when we stay away from home, but had no issues with the bed in this place. The breakfast was always delicious! The staff was lovely and even went above and beyond for our anniversary.

We stayed in Chloe's Garden room and loved it. The only complaint would be the level of noise during breakfast. We went to the second breakfast each day and were awakened when the first breakfast began daily. Certainly the staff cannot make people be quiet, but perhaps offering first breakfast to the person(s) in Chloe's Garden room as a given or providing a warning on the listing that it is close to the dining area would be an option. Other than that (which isn't that big a deal), our stay was SUPERB!

absolutely perfect place and staff. Veronica, Inn Keeper, was top notch....breakfast out of this world....location walking distance to everything. Park the car and relax.
