This is a charming property in an excellent location! Unlike so many of the historical inns in Savannah, this one has a private parking lot adjacent to the building, so we like to stay here when we have a car.

Our room #102 on the ground floor (likely the original basement of the building) is too noisy: its windows are at ground level on York Street, so every car and horse-drawn carriage sound like they are in the bedroom with you. Additionally, we could hear everything that’s said at the reception, breakfast being served, dishes being cleaned up and laundry being washed + dried, etc. We had previously stayed on the 4th floor, which was very quiet, so make sure to book upper floor rooms.

My girlfriends and I had such a wonderful time in Savannah and staying at The Presidents Quarters Inn! It’s such a charming hotel in a great quiet yet walkable area. Everyone on staff that we encountered was just amazing- hospitable and charming and helpful. The breakfast and wine happy hour were both great ways to meet other travelers! We were told by staff that the hotel is being renovated and that a new section is being built in the parking lot. I feel luck that we were able to stay here before because this is absolutely going to change the charm and dynamic of such a great hotel! Kara and Lila were the two staff that I spoke with the most. Both have incredible talent for hospitality a wonderful southern charm. They are an absolute asset to this hotel!

Fantastic location… Central and walking distance to many attractions that you want to see when you’re in Savannah. The staff, Dan, Kara and Scarlett were amazing… Helpful and friendly. The building itself built in 1855 is historic and lovely. The traditional double room on the ground floor was huge, the bathroom was bright and spacious. Only downside of being on the first floor is that your windows are sidewalk level. The room can be a little bit dark, and if you don’t want passers by possibly seeing in your room, you need to keep the shades only opened up a little bit. The courtyard is beautiful, and a delicious hot breakfast is served every morning, or a continental of yogurt, fresh fruit, and granola with a muffin. Every afternoon from 5:30 to 6:30 is happy hour in the courtyard as well. Red and white wine is available!

Can’t think of a single negative… other than I hear there are plans to build a modern new building on the guest parking lot, which will also comprise some of the charming courtyard. That really will be a bummer and ruin the ambience.

Wonderful location in the heart of the historic district. Most everything we wanted to see was within a 15 minute walk. The staff was amazing- Scarlet and the team went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. Our room was large, with plenty of room for 2 people to spread out. Beds were very comfy, and the breakfast and coffee service was great.

We stayed on the 1st floor bedroom for accessibility reasons, and on a Saturday night you'll definitely hear noise from the street, so something to consider if that bothers you.

What a wonderful place. It's right down in the Historic District. You won't need your car for visiting the historic district if you can walk a little. My son and I really enjoyed being in the middle of it. We had just come from visiting historic Charleston and we found this to be much nicer and more to do. The property itself is a restored 1800's building that was done well. The fixtures are not period but they function well and are comfortable and cozy. The rooms are large and give you plenty of room to sit and enjoy some rest time from all the local attractions. If you can't find good food here you would starve in a grocery store, lol. Historic Savannah is right outside your door with tons of attractions, architecture, restaurants, tours and parks. We parked our car in the free onsite parking lot and never went back till it was time to leave. Every two blocks in any direction is a wonderful city square. The staff at the hotel is very approachable and friendly, a cooked breakfast awaits you each morning, not the standard plastic egg bar. Both my son and I where very satisfied with our time there and will be returning.

Having to leave.

Probably the friendliest, warmest welcome we have ever received at a hotel. Kara,Dan and the rest of the team were amazing with advice to us as first time visitors to Savannah. The 16 room property was built in 1855 and retains a real southern hospitality, a real homely feel. We had a “traditional double “ room on the ground floor. Very spacious with two beds, table and chairs, wardrobe, dressing table and a lovely fireplace. Bathroom with shower over bath. There was no fridge in our particular room ,however we were provided with plenty of ice from the kitchen for our cool box. Some rooms are pet friendly and our room was also wheelchair friendly for guests requiring an accessible room. Tea and coffee available in the morning and complementary wine and soft drinks available for happy hour early evening. Breakfasts are amazing and huge , so have a big appetite. Lovely outdoor seating and gazebo, free parking in hotel grounds. The location is beautiful in a residential area , a short and lovely walk into the town which is quite busy so it was nice to be staying in a more peaceful environment. Would recommend the hop on/hop off trolley tour and one of the stops is directly outside . The hotel will provide you with a discount voucher and arrange for a transfer to the main trolley depot. Lots of history to this lovely part of Georgia so the trolley tour is worth considering.

The only thing that we didn’t like, and this is purely from a personal point, is that the mattresses were too soft for us.

Breakfast was wonderful especially eating it in the quaint courtyard. Also loved the wine hour. The staff helped us feel welcomed. They provided information on the local area and were very friendly.

The bed! I loved this hotel very much. It is charming, centrally located in the historic district, serves delicious breakfast and has wonderful staff. I read the hotel is going to go through a remodel this spring and the owners are aware of the uncomfortable beds. Would have been a 10/10 if better bed.

Really enjoyed our stay. Kara and the staff were all so friendly and.accomodating. Our room was ready early, which was very convenient. The room was clean, cozy and decorated so nicely. Comfy bed too! The breakfast was delicious and a great start to our morning of sight-seeing. The location was perfect, close to everything! Also, their parking lot was a huge plus. Once we parked, we walked everywhere and didn't have to worry about finding parking anywhere. Highly recommend anyone to stay. We certainly hope to be back again.

The staff was amazing. Scarlett, Gracen and a gentleman (whose name I didn’t get) were extremely welcoming at the front desk. We were able to park our car early and were given a map and a chance to wander the area before our room was ready. Scarlett was wonderful every morning at breakfast, which by the way was delicious and filling, (kudos to the chefs) engaging with all the guests and making you feel right at home. She gave us great recommendations on bars and restaurants to try and they were well worth it! Gracen was equally gracious, informative and helpful. Room was spacious and spotless, bed super comfy. Definitely will return!!

Our room was very spacious, with a balcony over-looking the patio. The breakfast differed each day, with one hot item or the continental bowl. It was made to order and quite ample. Loved the crab Benedict! All of the staff were so pleasant and very helpful. The location was ideal. We walked everywhere or took advantage of the free DOT shuttle bus. Will definitely stay there again when we return to Savannah.

Would have liked coffee or tea in the afternoon. Wine was available at 5:30 p.m.
