It was tucked away, very private, very lush and quiet. (with exception of the little frogs with big voices…but by day two we barely noticed) During our stay, we rarely saw any other guests, even though there were vehicles. The hosts are part of a program called World Packers, I believe, and there were young adult volunteers who helped at the property for a place to stay and life experience. They were warm and friendly and so helpful.

I wish there had been a mini fridge in the room and that the bathroom and other electrical outlets in the room had worked.

our room was a bit austere. not a place to hang out, though you’re in Hawaii, so hanging out in the room isn’t a big priority. the dogs are big and friendly and cuddly, but they beg for food and they also stole and destroyed my glasses. I put them on the rocks in the outdoor shower and they came in and snagged them for a new toy.

The place is charming in a forest of macadamia trees. The landlady gave us good advice about trips. She has a lot of knowledge and experience. There are many facilities such as a pool, a gym, a private cinema hall that we did not have time to enjoy.

The distance between the parking lot and the room makes it difficult to move the luggage to the room without an elevator. There was no milk at the coffee station in the morning.

Leaving

The agriculture at the property was amazing! I was greeted right as I walked up by the son, he showed me to my room and carried my bag. In the morning Kelly greeted me and talked to me about the property, I didn’t want to leave. They told us we could roam the property and pick fresh fruit and nuts, really glad we did! The dog is a big friendly giant, my kids loved it.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like, everything was as described.

It was a last minute booking late afternoon and a very good surprise! The place is an estate, surrounded with macadamia nuts trees and other fruit trees. Our room was big, comfortable with maximum privacy. Kelly and her son running the place wonderfully happy to help ans share their knowledge of the area.

Very big and nice house, with a huge kitchen and common area available to guests. Our room was big and clean, very comfortable. You can pick up fruits from the huge backyard, we loved the passion fruits and the macadamia nuts.

Access to the rooms is a bit uncomfortable with big luggage, but not really a problem.

The two dogs are a delight! And the expansive grounds with fruit trees, macadamia trees and pine trees nice to walk around especially in the morning. The communal area and kitchen are big and well-equipped.

Lovely place, with a lot of land and fruit trees, host welcoming and gave us a lot of great tips. Great place to relax and to enjoy the nature.

The property was beautiful. The proprietor was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed feasting on the macadamia nuts that were fresh from the trees.
