The breakfast was very good. I'm fully satisfied with the variety of meals offered for breakfast. I would like to mention the exceptional staff who served the breakfast. Both ladies were extremely friendly, helpful and involved in the making clients' breakfast time happy. I am very grateful to them for making my staying at Marriott very pleasant. Moreover, I enjoyed the opportunity to swim in the pool. The swimming pool was very convenient and clean. Coffee and water with lemon served at the entrance hall were also attractive details for me showing that I'm welcome at Marriott.

I needed to communicate with the hotel staff in order to resolve some financial settlements regarding my staying. But the only option proposed was to call them by phone. This option was inapplicable for me because I'm from a different country. I'm sure it is necessary to offer an option to reach the hotel staff by an e-mail in order to make communication between hotel and clients more convenient.

I've been staying at this location every so often for 15 years, ever since I was a Redbird myself. It's been nothing but improvments every time I visit, and they always provide exceptional service.

I had no complaints about this stay. The staff went above and beyond for me multiple times to make my stay a little easier. The food downstairs is fantastic, room service is quick and delicious, and the room was immaculate.

Easily located and very easy parking.

One thing we noticed in the dining room the carpets hadn’t been vacuumed. It looks like in a long time, lots of crumbs under the tables and on the carpets it was a Sunday night not sure if that was a reason or not.

I arrived to town early. I stopped at hotel to see if a room was ready. We had a party to attend at 4:00. The front desk clerk was rude and did not attempt to check computer. She said earliest we could check in was 4. We went to a friends to get ready and checked in at 10 pm. That clerk was very friendly. We left our room on Friday at 8 am and returned at 9 pm and our room was not cleaned - no new towels. Frustrating.

Bar, pool, and gym access to any guests. Very clean and in a great location for people coming into town off the train.

Had to pay extra for parking that expired at 6am and had to wake up early to open and pay for a new parking session.

The staff was phenomenal. Everyone was so warm, welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast was great and loved the omelet station and the chefa that worked ot. The waitresses were super sweet. Our stay was very enjoyable.

Location in Normal and access to ISU was superb. Facility was excellent, well-maintained, even if we had to ask for rooms to be cleaned other than every third day. Parking was adequate and easy.

Some staff were not so good. One encounter was rude in response to an issue ... as if I should understand better about hotels. Interesting that I overheard another resident complain about the same desk clerk. In general, of all desk clerks I met, only one seemed welcoming and cordial. not a good face for the hotel otherwise. I did request a two-day room clean as an exception but the hotel failed to do so. I got only a towel exchange after I revisited the front desk ... nearly a whole day had passed by then with no cleaning.

Front front clerk went out of his way to help us- i jad booked incorrect marriott and very busy weekend- he got us a room at bloomington Marriott snd helped me obtain a refund at incorrect locsgion/ he wS a gem!!!
