Home 2 Suites is a novel proposition in terms of a user friendly hotel. Not only architecture but room size, quality of breakfast and locations. We travel to attend car racing and other flexibility of what is proposed is most convenient. The beds are imperfect, the bathroom is well appointed, the TV is state of the art. Home 2 Suites is a happy place, home away from home.

The layout of the hotel follows a new paradigm and works well when the building is built to specs. However there are a few properties that were hotels from other chains that do not work very well. For instance Keystone at Indianapolis.

Was not as good as the breakfast I had at Home2 in Beaufort, South Carolina! The breakfast in SC was was much more varied, in Indianapolis it was vey small, i.e., waffles were nice, but then there was a cheese wrap and just one kind of meat (sausage) for the breakfast meal. Hard boiled eggs, and then cereals. Coffee was not hot. I was disappointed, especially after the meal I had in Beaufort, South Carolina the last week. A friend and I went to attend Guula festival and that is how I was introduced to Home2

Breakfast choices were very small; coffee was not hot, nor did I have a choice of a dark roast blend like I had in Beaufort.

Breakfast was fine. The room was very nice and spacious.

Housekeeping was not great. Although the job done was good, one occasion they left the door to our room open. When we returned later that night, the lock had been turned while the door was still.open so the door was left open. We were apprehensive about entering the room. On another occasion our scheduled day for cleaning, no one came. I had to get clean towels from the front desk. The next day I flagged someone down to get 3 days worth of dirty towels and to refresh the bathroom.

dirty silverware in the dishwasher! I ended up putting all dishes and silverware in the dishwasher and ran them while we were out. food spilled on front of the cabinet! I wiped down the front of the cabinets. also a hole in the dish rag?!! dirty spot on the coverlet. didn’t see it until the day we checked out. GROSS! peeling paint around shower. the day of checkout housekeeping knocked on our door at 9am! we told her we were checking out and to come back. she then knocked again at 10:10! that time I wasn’t very nice. she also knocked on every door on the floor TWICE that morning! front desk apologized profusely and was going to notify the supervisor. also they list a spa, there is only a pool not a spa in the pool area.

Convenient, clean, easy

When rooms aren’t serviced every day, you run out of regular coffee after the first day. It certainly would be nice to be able to have enough coffee for the length of the stay, even if someone just made a daily sweep of each room and replenished it. Clean towels and trash empties would be great. I don’t need my bed made or room vacuumed every day but we’ve lost a lot of amenities with the lockdown that happened with covid

Location was excellent, we had not housekeeping service but the kindly changed our towels. We liked the kitchenette so much. We are booking for our coming trip to Cali on this same chain.

I would like more choices of protein for breakfast. But it was not bad.

The breakfast was ok, I have had better and worse. I would recommend more hot options, but the variety was good. The house coffee was good. The room was very nice and clean and spacious. We traveled for sports so the small kitchen was great. The beds were comfortable, even the pull out sofa. The bathroom was small but fine. Liked the shower but recommend adding a conditioner container to the wall. There is one with body wash and shampoo. This hotel was about 8 mins to the grand sports complex. Grocery store was very close. This is a very nice place to stay and I would definitely stay here again.

Location was great! Staff was super friendly and helpful.

I wish the breakfast lasted a little later into the morning for those traveling with multiple children. Check out time was different than online booking and that was a minor impact on our stay.

I asked for a portable fan and they did not have one. There was a small kids bday party in the foyer of hotel that was out of control by 1015am. Kids running around..screaming..not being told to get off the furniture they were climbing on.. We couldn't not use the foyer to sit in.

The hotel is brand new. The rooms have everything you need, including a small kitchen and plenty of space to work and relax. Everything was clean.

The ventilation system worked poorly (it seems that the thermostat was not able to switch between cool/heat modes). As a result, there was almost no air circulation in the room, and it was pretty loud during nighttime (soundproofing is another issue). The breakfast was OK but the options were pretty limited.
