Old world charm with beautiful art nouveau accents. It was a very cool building with really lovely people.

Our room was quite noisy in the morning when people were going to eat breakfast because we were under the dining room and probably because it is an old building. Also, the heating was a bit too hot in the night and we didn’t have control.

The Stone Soup is a beautifully structured home in the old North side of Indianapolis. The staff are warm and welcoming. I really enjoyed the room and jacuzzi and how close it is to local eateries. The Inn Keeper was very professional. And his concerns were not only your comfort at the Stone Soup Inn but also the house and property. He was fantastic. I loved everything there. As soon as you walk into the Inn you are thrown back in time with art pieces and historical structures. The warmth of comfort and peace was exactly what I was looking for.

We love the Bed and Breakfast feel and the old antique house it was clean comfortable and very inviting. The check in lady and the Chambermaid were so nice and helpful and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be back soon, and hopefully the breakfast around the table will be still going then and get rid of this stupid covid. The breakfast basket that they brought us was really nice, due to covid there was no breakfast gathering but hopefully that will change. Overall we really enjoyed this place and will be back there or the looking glass again.

Great location—quiet, beautiful, historic neighborhood close to Monument Circle, Fletcher Place and the new, hip Bottleworks complex. Everything is a 5-10 minute drive even with all of the recent construction and detours. The inn is beautifully appointed with attention to every detail featuring a combination of historical stylings and modern creature comforts. So many wonderful, unique eateries in the area, some within a close walk, weather depending, of course. But you needn’t worry about breakfast during your stay as DeWayne delivers a beautiful basket of fruit, yogurt and baked goods right to your door every morning like clockwork! Coffee machine was available in the SW loft room.

Not a dislike, just a note that the parking area can fill up and if you arrive late in the evening you may have find street parking which is ample and free (no restrictions).

The inn was very beautiful and charming. The rooms we stayed in were clean and beautifully maintained. Pam and Jayvonne (not sure if I wrote the name correctly) where great hostesses and made the whole stay even better! Highly recommend staying at this inn!

Gorgeous bed and breakfast! Location was great and the room was extremely spacious. Lots of shared spaces to relax and unwind. Otherwise phenomenal place!

Only thing we would have loved were hot options at breakfast. It was more of a muffin, fruit, bagel type breakfast.

It was so cozy and I loved how we could use the living room to hang out and play games in the evening! The staff was so kind and made our stay very enjoyable.

Gorgeous property. Thoughtful amenities. Loft room was quite chilly at night so space heater provided was vital. Good use of the space. Towels and linens were high-quality and fresh. My loft room had quite a lot of space and sitting areas, cozy nooks and was very quiet, which was lovely. Good WiFi connection! Wish I could have stayed longer—I just loved staying here. The breakfast was quite generous for a “Continental Breakfast” and having the kitchen en suite was helpful—I reheated leftovers, stored things in the fridge, and made several cups of tea, all in the comfort of my room.

I was frightened climbing and descending down those stairs to the loft bed each night and morning. Could use a railing on both sides of the stairs. Also, need a way to extinguish lights from up in the loft.

The inn was simply beautiful, very well maintained and very comfortable. The host was friendly and available for any questions/needs. Should I find myself back in Indianapolis I would not hesitate to stay again.

It was an extremely comfortable room with plenty of amenities!

If someone else was using the shower I assume, the water pressure would become literally nonexistent and turn into a trickle of water. No dish soap even though they had dishes - but I just walked to kroger and got some.
