Location was great and the hotel was very clean. They also had a great breakfast and although there was no bar on site they did have snacks and beer available to purchase. I also liked the 24/7 coffee availability.

Overall, this hotel was exceptional. My only complaint was that when I pulled up to the main entrance to check-in, they made me move my car before they would let me in the lobby. It was 11:00 p.m. and as a single female traveling alone at night, this made me VERY uncomfortable. Since it was late, the only open space was very far from the entrance meaning that I had to walk alone in the dark a good distance before I could check-in.

This was a very basic but nice hotel. The staff was quite helpful, although they needed to check on answers to some standard questions such as whether they had shower caps available. The rooms were very clean and equipped with most necessities (except shower caps lol), and the bed was extremely comfortable. It's a small hotel (4 floors), and it never felt crowded even though we were there on a very busy weekend. There were a few restaurants within walking distance, but you need a car or other transportation to get to the main areas. The neighborhood was nice and felt safe. The breakfast offered a good selection of fresh food. The hotel itself felt new, clean and was well maintained. We would definitely stay in another Tru by Hilton again.

The rooms are nice.

You have to request room cleaning and fresh towels during your stay. There's also a good chance you won't get it. Although I requested both, my room was skipped for cleaning every single day of my stay, and I received my fresh towels after hours of continuously requesting them. We were there for events where coming back, taking a shower and getting dressed again were very important. It seemed that the staff was willing to bring us towels (and even clean up) however I don't think that this hotel staffs cleaning crew at full capacity, even though they were fully booked with guests. It also seemed like they didn't have enough towels. It was strange.

Very clean, smelled new, smart use of space, bright room, housekeeping staff seemed to be continually cleaning public spaces and they were very friendly

The staff at the front desk was not very friendly. When there was one, they seemed annoyed if you asked a question and when there was more than one, they ignored people to have social conversation (first hand experience and witnessed while sitting in the lobby with others and for breakfast). The room had a really annoying green light flashing. It had a bandaid over it already so others were clearly just as bothered. It is bright enough that you can "see" it through your eyelids.

It was convenient to our destination. The breakfast was very nice and well appointed. The scrambled eggs were tasty, hard boiled eggs were “eggcelent”, a great variety of cereal, the coffee was very very good. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our room was reserved for three but yet there were only towels for two. We had to go down and get an extra set of towels. Not the end of the world, but slightly an inconvenience. After we had turned in for the evening, we realize there was not a blanket, just sheets and comforter.

Clean, modern room with functional and efficient A/C. Great smelling soap and lotion. Decent view of the city park, which was refreshing for a hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good food options inside the hotel, and lots of restaurant and bar options nearby. Gym is open 24hr with 3x treadmills, cycle machine, a bench, and some free weights.

Lots of construction in the area as of June 2024. Would be nice to have mats for the workout room.

The complimentary breakfast was good and the lounge area was very comfortable.

They tried giving us a room with just one bed even though we reserved a room with two beds. Luckily for us, we were able to switch rooms. They said that they did that because we booked the room through a third party. Apparently, they give priority to customers who book through their website.

the staff needs to be a little friendlier. no one was rude in any way. it’s no one went out of their way to say hello, welcome, do you need anything. i mentioned the coffee was empty and the staff member did fill it but said nothing - they just left after I said it and kind of stood there feeling a bit awkward.

It was clean and simple in decorating. The beds were comfortable, pillows were ok considering we forgot to bring ours and we usually do.

It didn't bother our stay because we are not ones that need a lot of space but if you like large areas to put stuff in the room this would not be for you.

The hotel was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. It was nice to have the coffee/tea bar available all day. The lobby was very modern. It was a nice stay.

The only thing I did not like was the carbon monoxide detector in the room would flash like a strobe light every 10 seconds. When the lights were out at night it was very distracting.
