Perfect location

5th floor took awhile to get hot water, no exhaust fan in the bathroom so it got a bit steamy but still nice

Near to most sites. I wish I could have had information on the street cars that would have saved us $49 in parking near Natchez Cruise. Clean, and the valet service was great.

The booking was mid-leading in that we chose a balcony room that stated being pool overlook. We were disappointed opening the curtains to the balcony and seeing a wall. A continental breakfast would have been nice.

The location was great for walking distance. The staff were always friendly and willing to assist. The cleaning crew did a great job making sure we had fresh towels when needed.

It's hard to get transportation like Uber to come during peak times. Needs some new updated decor in the rooms, the carpet didn't feel clean. The shower had a half glass to keep water spray in, but it didn't work well... floor would get all wet. Had a balcony, but it was shared with another room, which was awkward. Not much for lighting.

Everything except the lack of a restaurant and/or bar on site.

Just needs a restaurant/bar opened again! Cannot be that difficult to find a chef in a City known for wonderful food! I am sure hotel ownership/management wants an independent Lessor, but the lack of that amenity hurts the hotel’s ratings. Charging $50 per night for “extras” when there are n extras available is indefensible. If it is truly a damage deposit, call it that.

Convenient for tour meet-ups and good restaurants. Awesome staff!

The hotel was great as was the staff. Big disappointment in Bourbon Street with the 'type' people it now attracts. Was nothing like this seven years or so ago when I first visited. I felt awful since I'd hyped it up so much to my husband...his first visit!

Great location and nice rooms. Great concierge staff and valet parking staff. Valet parking was great.

Unfortunately we were placed in the room right next to the lifts. All night and early morning you could hear the lifts going up and down. Luckily I can sleep through most things but it was annoying when in the room. Concierge and valet parking staff were awesome, same could not be said about reception staff.

No breakfast offered. Which was fine. Good size, I liked that there was full bottles of shampoo, shower gel ect in the shower. Close to everything and I liked that the door was always opened for us when we came or left the hotel.

The pool says heated but even though it was mid 70 degrees we could not swim, the pool did not seem heated at all. A bit disappointing since I was looking forward using the pool.

The hotel is in walking distance of everything in the French quarter, and getting the car was easy to access from the valet and we could get to everything else. Staff was congenial and helpful.

Only one ice-maker worked, so getting ice was a little inconvenient. Bathroom was without ventilation and the sliding door was difficult to open. Restaurant is coming soon.

The location is the best part of this hotel. Just far enough from "the action" to not be too noisy, but so SO close. We rented a room with a balcony. While not technically a private balcony, it is so helpful when sharing a room with others and wanting a bit of privacy when you wake up early or are up a little later than your friends. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable. The staff seems nice. And it feels safe. (this most recent was a girl's trip)

It's hard to say there was anything I didn't like.. but I thinks that's all about expectations. The hotel is a little run down, sure.. but it's in the french quarter - regularly hit by hurricanes and frequented by heavy partiers -, and nicer than almost anywhere else I've stayed at this price point. Sure- the bathtubs could use a refresher, and the couches in the lobby could probably stand to be replaced (or restuffed). But the style and comfort and cleanliness make up for all of that.

Location (one block off Bourbon Street) was excellent. Staff was generally pleasant, and welcoming. Accommodations were adequate (nice beds) but not exceptional. It was surprisingly quiet, given that we were there over Mardi Gras. Even the guests, for the most part, refrained from being too "exuberant" on the premises. There is a rather nice courtyard pool to enjoy when the weather is suitable.

The hotel is older, of course, and could use a bit of freshening up. Hallway carpets were badly faded. Our bathroom door was rusting out a bit around the lower outer rim. Biggest issue we noted was lack of storage space for clothing. The closet is shallow with one short rod mounted back to front... not side to side, as is usual for closets wide deep enough to handle clothes hanging in the usual orientation. There were only two deep drawers in the console for other clothing. The bedside table was a table... no drawers at all. If we had not been staying a week, the storage issues would have barely been notable, but...
