The environment, staff and overall vibe were all amazing! I loved the taste of Columbia that the Merriweather Lakehouse offers (e.g. photos related to Columbia, view and proximity to the lakefront & nearby events)! Many walkable activities.

I wouldn’t say, “didn’t like.” Something I “would like” is to see local goods sold in the coffee shop. I noticed there was a tea from Texas and some other goods-how fun! An idea-get local coffee/espresso. There is a place I can recommend. Also, many other local goods that could be shared/sold at this amazing spot♥️

The staff were very hospitable and friendly. Morgan went above and beyond to compensate for the mishap with housekeeping. The view of the lake from the hotel, amenities and close proximity to shops, restaurants and concert venue was awesome.

Absolutely beautiful location; we came down for a concert at Merriweather Post Pavilion and took advantage of the nice weather and WALKED to the concert (less than 15 minutes walking distance). Our rooms had balconies overlooking the lake, were blissfully quiet, and really elegantly styled - light blue ceramic tile bath and lots of counter space for a group of women getting ready at the same time. We hit the hotel bar after the concert, where they had drink and food specials that tied into the concert experience! We didn't get to bed until late, but it was worth the wait. I am not exaggerating when I say the hotel beds are probably the most comfortable I've ever slept in - soft, clean, linens, and a mattress and pillows that were the perfect mix of softness and support. The next morning, our buffet breakfast, which I believe was about $22, was fantastic! Beautiful restaurant, and a nice selection of hot (scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, roasted potatoes, waffles) and cold (yogurt, fresh berries and melon, granola, banana bread and scones) items. I believe there were also gluten-free options. Throughout our stay, the hotel staff, from bartenders and chef to the front desk and restaurant servers, were extremely friendly and gracious.

The only blemish on our stay was extremely slow service at the hotel restaurant when we went for dinner before the show. There were 7 of us there to eat around 5pm, and we clearly expressed that we were there for the concert and wanted to see the opening act at 7). Our server seemed to be very new to her job. We waited about 25 minutes for our drinks, 2 of which were cocktails from the drink menu that couldn't be made because they were out of ginger beer. We hadn't ordered appetizers, so we waited another 20-25 minutes for our food---the kitchen must have been short staffed. Fortunately, the food was worth the wait - everything was delicious!

A really wonderful property! A great place to stay, especially if you're seeing a show at Merriweather.

The noise between rooms is a bit intense. I could hear the conversation of the people next door as clearly as if they were sitting next to me. We were in a room with one of those adjoining doors, so perhaps that exacerbated the issue.

the air handler in our room was extremely loud and kept squeaking. No room service available. we are in their restaurant (Lāk). the food was great, Sam our server was amazing but the chef kept screaming at the staff to retrieve orders up. it’s an open kitchen which is cool but not when the chef repeatedly screams to the point of disturbing our meal/experience

I really enjoyed the cleanliness. the location because it was close to lots of restaurants and the mall.

they did not have a microwave which was really annoying and having to use your keycard just to get upstairs to your room. My room service order was messed up.

Quite , yet close to Mall and Merriweather , the complimentary shuttle !

The breakfast had a thirty minute wait , not enough staff ? Thank goodness the coffee shop had some breakfast options !

Location. To Merriweather Post Pavilion. 10 min Walk on same side of road! The hotel offers a shuttle night of concert if you dont want to walk.
