Location was great, The beds were surprisingly very comfortable, hotel was clean, staff were very polite and welcoming. They patiently answered all of our questions. Loved all of the old photos on the walls and the nostalgic decorations all around.

The handicap bars in the bathroom could be placed better. A light in the closet would be helpful. The luggage cart tires need more air, with all of our luggage on the cart the tires were somewhat flat and it was very hard to push the cart.

The hotel is "old" luckily the owners have NOT tried to turn it into glass and chrome. Yes, the rooms are somewhat small with limited amenities (no coffee pot, to me not a problem, I carry a one cup Keurig just for those eventualities)", however, everything is comfortable. Guest laundry is literally new with plenty of both washing machines and dryers. Plenty of parking and unless you are going to Walmart the main portion of town is an easy walk. Essentially the place has a lot of charm. I was there fishing and out an about every day by 0430. An afternoon nap was the thing, the hotel is amazingly quiet, so no disturbance.

Hotel was quiet & private. Room was just right & clean. Tub/shower could use an update, but it was clean & met our needs. Loved the small sofa in the room. Our stay was short because we were taking the Badger across Lake Michigan. Excellent location. Easily walkable to town & restaurants. Stearns Beach was great. Shallow swimming area, clean sand & water. Great location for sunset, too.

No restaurant. However, there were lots of choices in town.

The interior of the property is very nice and well kept. The staff were excellent and taking genuine care of us in little time. Interesting building I want to look up history about. room is very clean.

The mattress was a bit out of shape and had low spots.

The customer service was excellent! We loved the lady who checked us in. She was very friendly and even called me right away after checkout to tell me I left my pillow. Cleanliness! Walking distance to downtown

Location was great with ample self-parking. Quiet neighborhood. Friendly and helpful staff. AC kept room cool and comfortable. Had a nice-sized refrigerator and a microwave in the room.

There was only a handle-lock button on the door with no interior chain or deadbolt. There was only one elevator that was sometimes very slow. Shower head wasn’t great but worked. Beds too firm for my liking (and back issues). There was no hot water/tea bags in the morning—only coffee. Not everyone drinks coffee!

This hotel is in a great location. Walking distance to the downtown restaurants and breweries. Ludington is a great travel destination. Put this hotel on your short list!

The hotel has such an old world feel, staff very nice, the room was comfortable.

The heat element was a little difficult to get it at right temperature.

It was a classy old hotel, over 100 years old. The coffee was very good. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. It was walking distance to everything downtown. The hot tub in the room was very nice. Used it 3 times in 2 days.

I thought that it could have cost a little less as we were nearly the only people staying there. The heater took a while to warm up the room as it was turned off when we arrived.

It’s an old building but doesn’t smell old. It’s a huge building. Rooms slopes but that makes it unique. It’s blocks away from the Badger .
