The staff was extremely accommodating and welcoming. Overall the hotel was clean and well maintained. The room was clean and spacious, it was almost as if this is a new hotel. Probably remodeled, but free of that old hotel smell (you know the smell I’m referring to; musty, moldy, smoked in)

The elevator was a little old and slow, but appeared to function properly. The hall leading to the room was a bit scuffed. The eggs at breakfast were poured out of the plastic bag that they were heated in… I would prefer to at least have the illusion that someone added water to dehydrated eggs (standard at this type of hotel); I kinda feel like I might never eat them again after witnessing the bag.

Location was the reason we chose this place . They advertised walking distance to concert venue . However , the area had no sidewalks for pedestrians. Walkable ? Yes . Advisable ? No. They should consider rephrasing that .

When we checked in the room the bed wasn’t made . When I told them they gave us a different room . Not a huge deal

The hotel was only 10 minutes walk from the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre, which was great for me since I came to the city for a concert being held there. The breakfast was excellent. The room was comfortable, spacious, and clean. The staff was helpful and kind.

The ceiling fan in the room sounded like it was going to fall down. The hotel grounds were a bit sparse.

The staff were very kind and helpful overall. Diner service is something I’ve never seen at a hotel before, but it was the highlight of the stay. All the food was delicious, and we were very surprised to find out the beer and wine selections were included in the diner service. The rooms were large for a hotel and the kitchenette was a neat add.

There were a couple of items left from the previous occupants in our room like a paper plate on the floor and a couple of streamers probably from a party. The bathroom could’ve used a vent to control humidity but was otherwise decent. The pool was closed at the time of our stay but that’s ok it wasn’t a damper on the trip.

The hotel was in a GREAT location for seeing everything we wanted to see in St. Charles. Manager Jennifer is OUTSTANDING and helped me over the phone before our arrival and then several times during our stay. The breakfast was a little different each morning which was great as we stayed several nights. Our traveling party (4 adults, 2 children) really enjoyed having the Double Suite. The King Bedroom/Bath worked well for the senior citizens in our party and then the Double Queenroom worked well for 2 adults, 2 kids. It was wonderful to have the living room and kitchen in the middle. Our kids enjoyed the outdoor basketball court and basketballs that were provided. We stayed 4 nights for around $600 which felt like a great deal!

The carpet and living room furniture was definitely outdated in our room. All of the wallpapered walls both in our room and down the hallways were old/scratched and could use a face lift for sure. That being said, all hard surfaces were obviously sanitized and very clean throughout. Also, the pool at this hotel is closed indefinitely so if you want to swim - do not book.

Location to the amphitheater was perfect and within walking distance. The room was exceptional, very nice, clean and well stocked. I could easily live there.

There was no mattress pad 🤮 and the hallways and elevator are filthy. The carpets in the hallways need cleaned badly or disposed of and the elevator is just gross

The locality was perfect for us! Having a kitchen suite was nice! Staff were very hospitable!

It could have been cleaner. Under the cushions of the sofa were crumbs. Bathtub was not real clean and the liquid soap was empty.

It is located within walking distance of the concert venue which is why we chose it. The bed was very comfortable. The rooms are spacious.

Breakfast was mediocre but as expected for a continental breakfast. Our door was a bit wore and did not shut well and we had to pull/push to make sure it shut well.

Spacious, clean room, quiet setting.

The only negative was that the closest elevator was out of order. It was inconvenient, but not impossible to walk to the other end of the building or take the stairs.

We were here only for the Megadeth gig and the location was perfect for us. Also good breakfast, big rooms and cheap stay.

It took some time to figure out something about our reservation, but otherwise all good
