We have made a trip to the Avi once a year for the last 3 years and really like everything about the resort but unfortunately the 3 times we've stayed have always been in the winter so it's been too cold to enjoy the pool/beach areas which are just lovely. This last stay we had a room viewing the pool/river view and loved it. The golf course was the first attraction for us with very reasonable rates for Avi guests.

Have run into problems with reservations for the last two years, spending many hours on the phone to rectify the problems. Both times I dialed direct to the hotel and they put me through to booking agents. IF I book again next year, I'll either insist on booking directly at the hotel or book through another agent. We stayed for 7 nights this year and found the food services got old but do agree that there is definitely options at the food court. Another reasonably priced restaurant option would be nice to have. Also found the casino floor very, very smoky this year so would like to see no smoking or better ventilation. Both my husband and I, as well as the other 4 in our party, felt the machines really didn't pay out much this year and therefore, had less fun losing our $$$.

The resort is great, the pool and river each. The amount of food and drink locations as well as the drinks offered at the pool all make it a good time.

This resort could be a 10/10 if most of staff was not rude. Of course, there is some good ones that are friendly, helpful, and hospitable. Although, a majority is not that way and very rude as well as inexperienced at their jobs. Food takes long, rude attitudes, and inconveniences due to people just not being nice makes me think twice before coming back.

the staff at the Returaunts were absolutely RUDE.. they also turned away a big group of us who were there to celebrate my dad's birthday... Didn't like the the new pool rules either I'm diabetic and should be allowed to bring in water and a snack .... for myself and daughter ... staff take their job wayyy too seriously and are rude

Machines were horrible. No cell service. For those reasons I won't be back. My wife got food poison from a chicken sandwich st Subway and threw up for 2 days.

Very comfortable clean room and undercover self parking.

As we walked into the foyer to check in the smoke smell was very strong. Was like that throughout the building but luckily not in our room. Maybe good value for room but a lot of food outlets were not open (only weekends) so being international guests it was very disappointing. Had to pay for everything as no hot water in our room even to make a cup of tea! Asked for a trolley for our bags but that was also at a cost ! No where to sit outside unless you pay for drinks at the pool. Unless you gamble & smoke would not recommend.

Easily accessible amenities, clean comfortable room, friendly staff, optional parking closer to room towers, clean and maintained pool and river/beach access, fast and simple check-in/check-out, and great directories and staff knowledge of facilities.

Main family pool wasn't heated. The water must've been about 40 degrees, any colder they're gonna have guests ending up with hypothermia. A lot of guests were sharing with us that management said this pool was going to be heated, but that was not truthful. The beach tower elevator was stuck at one point and we had to take the emergency stairs. Staff were already taking effect into resolving the issue but did not offer for guests to use service elevator. The elevator at the parking garage was also not working for the last day of our stay.

The room was very clean, bed was comfortable and a lot of parking space next to the hotel building. It's a bit tricky to get to the hotel rooms from the casino, but the staff provided us directions.

The room does not provide any tea/coffee maker nor a microwave, so it was very difficult to get hot water - I had to ask around in the restaurants in the casino to just get hot water needed for my medicine. There's also a $100 deposit taken which took a while to be returned to my card (about 2 weeks). It's important to remember that this hotel is located quite far from urban areas, so no shops or restaurants other than the ones available in the casino.

Staff was friendly, Front Desk and Housekeeping. Room location convenient to parking, casino, and food court. Room was large, quiet, and comfortable. Off season rate was very affordable with no resort fees. The Avi Casino is located across the bridge, about a 5-7 minute drive, from Safeway and Walmart in Fort Mojave.

We had a ground floor room, where the window looked out, between buildings, at what we thought was the delivery entrance for some of the food court businesses, so really never any direct sunlight, making the room a little dark.

This was our first time visiting Avi Resort. I was recommended to stay here because it's a super family-friendly resort. In fact, it is. There are so many accommodations for the kids and parents. We enjoyed the variety of things to do. You need more than a weekend to do it all. The gem of it all is honestly the beach. The water is fresh and clean.

There were several things that could be improved, but thankfully, they are all cosmetic stuff. The carpets could use replacing. The casino floor, in my opinion, needs more updated slots. Lastly, the pool bathroom needs a remodel. Other than these cosmetic things, the stay was honestly very comfortable.

I liked that there was free boat parking with our stay. The room was spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a variety of food options. I appreciated that Subway was open late.

I had to go to another floor to get ice and the elevator took a long time. There weren’t carts available to help get our luggage downstairs. It would be nice to have more food options available later at night. We were told we would have our boat towed if we didn’t leave it hitched to our truck. This made it difficult to run errands to the store and get something to eat.
