Room was spacious for a small family with one, maybe two children. Building is warm inside and aparently well insulated, heater kicked in rarely although it was -12C outside. Soundproofing is good, we didn't hear neighbours. Place was clean and well maintained.
Check-in was rather bizarre. We came 6:50pm on Friday and front desk was already closed, had to call to get a code for a lockbox. A person on the phone didn't know neither which building (there are several on the property) our room is nor which floor. Next morning we had to "register" at the front desk, obviously there were a lot of people at the same time doing this. The sofabed for third person was not made up, although booking clearly indicated 3 people are coming.

Because I fish out of Cave Rock, this lodging is ideal for me in that it's close by and has a kitchenette, laundry and ice machine. Leaving for fishing at 5:30am means breakfast options are limited so having a kitchenette to make my own coffee and quick breakfast is convenient. After a day of fishing, being able to wash your clothes is a plus, but laundry hours are limited to 8 am - 8pm and the laundry is located in the building across from registration. Either provide your own detergent or buy it for $1 at the registration office. During our stay, there was no daily housekeeping which is fine by me, but management would like you to call during 7am-10am if you need a change of towels, or toilet paper, or trash removal which is not easy when you're on a boat. Thankfully management was accommodating when we returned in the afternoon. Although there is no A/C, there are ceiling fans in each area and standing fans for each room. As far as the suites go, they are welcoming and the queen bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, the queen sofa bed was not firm with its thin mattress. Despite the limitations, the location, pleasant accommodations and price are just right for me. A big shout out to Mike who registered me and gave me all the rules with a smile.
The queen sofa bed had a flimsy mattress. Speaking of limited hours, the office, lobby, game room, whirlpool, and downstairs bath all have the same limited hours which means you miss out on the coffee/tea when you leave early in the morning.

The apartment-like set-up of the unit was perfect for our needs, two single elderly ladies. The nice bathroom with toilet & shower/tub separate from the large vanity area, had entrances from both the bedroom and living room. We used the living room couch as a second bed. Linens & pillows provided. The kitchen was nicely stocked with good size refrigerator. Though we didn't use the fireplace, the aesthetics of it being there gave a warm feeling to the ambiance. The complex is attractive and very quiet due to being off the main road, yet had easy access to all restaurants, shops and activities in the area, but having a car is a must. The hot tub was fabulous! The entry lounge area was very attractive and welcoming, but it closes at 7pm, which is just about the time we might have wanted to use it. Parking was always available. Free laundry facilities was an added convenience. One of the ladies at the front desk was especially friendly and helpful.
The after 7pm check-in procedure could have been perfect if we could have had an easier time opening the key box. The next morning check-in was very welcoming. The complementary coffee/tea & fruit area, across from the check-in desk was so garded that it felt unwelcoming and we did not use.

Excellent value for money during summer season: a comfortable place to stay within walking distance of Nevada Beach. Kitchen was basic, but well-equipped, clean, and functional. Dining room table and TV with DVD player were perfect for relaxing. Plenty of room for couple. Front desk staff were friendly and have DVDs to borrow for rainy days. During July, outside area had lots of flowers and clean, functioning grills by picnic tables (and nearby Safeway sells BBQ-ready skewers). Best part was that the unit faced trees/ forest and it was so peaceful and quiet.
Next time I will book one of the rooms on second or third floor with balcony. This is a ground floor unit. So the only drawback was not having a window to leave open for cooler air at night.

Everything was modern and immaculate. Bed was comfortable. Good location, well furnished. It had a kitchenette with everything you could need.
My only disappointment was that the hot tub was only available from about 8:30 am to 7 pm, which I've never heard of before. I usually like to goin the evening before bed. However, it was so hot that I couldn't go in far enough to sit down and could only stay in for 10-15 minutes, so we didn't go in again after the first morning. I was disappointed because I chose it specifically because it had a hot tub. Other than that, it was a great place.

The ambience from the moment I stepped in the lobby area gave me an overwhelming sense of calm. The room had everything I possibly could have needed and more, from extra pillows to cutlery to napkins. The room was comfortable and spacey, and even the kids loved it. The staff was great and friendly, which is huge for me. Its a few minute drive from everything, but in the spring or fall might even be a walkable distance. Definitely one that I would love to stay at again, and highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a relaxing, family friendly getaway, with a “home” feel!

Loved the area. Nice and close to SLT but off the beaten track. There’s 2 Local bar and grills close by which is convenient. Plus a gas station for snacks. Room was clean. Staff was friendly.
There’s a high pitch buzzing noise that comes and goes. Which is my only real complaint. More noticeable at night when trying to sleep. They have a pool table but no pool sticks. Which would have been fun to use. No A/C. But they warn you about this many times. They provide fans to help. This wasn’t an issue for me, but I can see it being a concern during hotter times of the year.

Everything, I have no complaints or recommendations to improve things. It was an absolutely wonderful experience. The staff was the most hospitable, wanting to please us with any issue that came up, group of people I have ever stayed with. The interior and exterior of the facility was impeccable.
I have nothing negative to say. I enjoyed everything about my stay.

The rooms were big. The living room/dinette made it very comfortable. It was nice to be able to cook some meals on our stay. They have two grills on site as well as complimentary laundry facility. Both were a big plus for us.
The only real dislike was the jacuzzi/pool was only opened during the day and would close around 5 pm. That's when we would return from our adventures of the day and wanted to relax in the pool.

It was just a great place to stay, had all the amenities you could have. Bed was comfortable, being able to cook our meals was a plus, quiet as well.
The door to the heater or ac, did not close properly, so when it came on, it would close the door and that was annoying as it would go on all night, like a cabinet slaming.we fixed this by placing a dining chair against it which still allowed the vent under it to still do its job.
