This motel was everything my team needed for the night before a big race. The staff was helpful and pleasant, our three rooms were clean and close together, and the property was calm and quiet. The sink is separate from the toilet and shower, which is helpful when you have multiple people all showering and getting ready at the same time. There was a grocery store next door and a Dunkin and gas station across the street. The town itself was also lovely, with a decent selection of restaurants available. Plenty of parking available.

The rooms were a bit dated, but exactly what I expected from the pictures and previous reviews. The sink is in the main room and on the opposite wall from the beds, so if someone needs to be getting ready while others are sleeping, the noise and light might be annoying.

staff was very friendly both at check in and check out..we only stayed one night, we had taken the kids to Santa’s village, it’s a 3 hour drive each way for us so we just wanted to break up the trip & rest after a long day. We weren’t looking for all the bells and whistles, in hindsight I think I was hoping my kids would have been more worn out so I do kind of wish I chose a place with more for them to do, but that was completely on me because I looked at a lot of places. This was one of the most affordable ones, and I am the person who reads all the reviews which is why I wanted to be sure to write one too. in my opinion almost all the negative reviews I read, we did not encounter any of those issues. The room was clean, the carpets are all brand new, they were actually working on some other areas as we were checking out, a lot of the furniture was new from what I can tell from the old pictures, there is a small coffee pot in the room, which truly you don’t even need because they do serve breakfast in the morning from 6:30-9 I believe we’re the times…no it’s not a gourmet feast, but there was coffee, tea, juice & milk, cereal, muffins, donuts, oatmeal, English muffins, bread & toaster. I felt like that is more than enough and worth the price you’re paying for the night. my kids were fed and happy and we were on our way back home afterwards. I would definitely recommend it here.

The location was fine, for my purposes, which were to get into the path of totality for the eclipse. Staff were pleasant although they didn't go out of their way to offer help.

The breakfast was poor. No eggs. Unidentified portions of margarine (?) or butter (?). Limited cold cereal choices. No muffins, etc.

Not enough butter at 8:30 am on Sunday morning when there was many customers checked in for overnight, at the beginning the staff said they are out of but later it was brought in.

Plan better for weekend on busy season when many clients check in

The nicest staff!! They are friendly, accommodating, and helpful! Rooms are spacious. Clean (even though it may not appear that way due to the age of some of the furnishings/fixtures, etc). Plenty of parking. TV, microwave and fridge along with the console that they are in are all in great condition! Hair dryer worked perfectly.

The age of the hotel is catching up with itself. Showing wear on the outside as well as inside. Furnishing could be updated. Clutter in Porte-cochere, behind the reception desk, and lobby area should be cleaned up. Carpets in rooms need to be steam cleaned right up to the baseboards. The shower/tub in room 206 needs to be updated/replaced. All lighting - especially over the sink area, should be updated! Using a handwritten sign for the elevator is tacky and shows that care for some standard details is taking a back seat....

Location of the hotel is good. Plenty of parking. Friendly staff. Spacious rooms with fridge and coffee maker. Clean bedding and towels. This is the only decent, affordable hotel in a 50-mile radius of Lancaster... so I would like to think that the owners will keep it maintained and cared for....

The outside of the hotel is starting to look a little tired. The inside lobby/public areas could be less cluttered (I've been staying at this hotel since it opened and though it's clean, it has become somewhat cluttered over the years). Our room was good... the carpets were vacuumed, but there were random stains on the carpet and you could visibly see where the vacuum wasn't hugging the wall to remove dust/dirt - as you could see the dust band around the baseboard... there were also stains on the couch and chair.... the lighting needs to be updated over the sink and just in general... and the tubs/showers, though clean, did not look clean due to wear.

The breakfast was just ok. I was disappointed in the lack of a coffee maker in our room. It stated there would be one. Also, I requested early check in and was not given that.

I was expecting a coffee maker in the room? There wasn't one. Also, as i staed above, I requested a few hours early check in , also was not able to do that.

Very accommodating. Our fifth or sixth stay here over several years. Right next door to a supermarket.

Complementary items (soap, shampoo, lotion) are now "made in PRC", rather than India, as previously. Much prefer India to China.

All surfaces were well clean and even the light switches and door knobs were wiped down. You can tell the rooms were recently updated. The staff were really nice and understanding.

The bathroom tub was cleaned but it was still dirty a bit(cause it stains easily with water). I just cleaned it myself, and still used bath sandals. I'm a bit of a germaphobe so this may not be an issue for anyone and I didn't have a huge issue with it.

This is older motel that was expertly refurbished and kept very clean. Receptionist was great.

Should not be stingy on soap bars and shampoo. Breakfast was minimal.
