The Glen House is superbly situated, with amazing views in all directions. We loved the outdoor areas, with the fire pit and the bar area with high ceilings and fabulous views. Our room was very spacious, again with great views and very well appointed. We also enjoyed the history of the building shown in pictures and information dotted around. The food was good, although on the pricey side.

There were free hot drinks available but this seemed to disappear mid afternoon and there were no machines or kettles in the room. It’s a long time to go without tea or coffee.

The view from the room was incredible. The bed was very comfy, pillows are perfect. The front desk was very accommodating. Having a discount for the Auto Road was a bonus.

I love the fact that there are rooms with balconies BUT I think "PRIVATE BALCONY" is misleading. Balconies are all together. Having some sort of visual divider would be much better and it would make for actual privacy and make the money you are spending for a room with a "private" balcony seem more worth it, especially where it is about a $100 upcharge. A microwave should be included in the rooms, especially with a restaurant in the building. You are bound to have leftovers that you would like to reheat, which was in fact our case this stay. My last recommendation would be to somehow filter some music into the pool area. Something similar to what is playing in the lounge, just for ease of awkwardness if you are in there with other people. Some background music.

Very good location near the entrance to auto road. Large room with excelent view to the colours of the autumn. Easy to park in the large parking lot of the hotel. Hotel is quite new, 6 years, and it is nice and clean. There is a restaurant for breakfast , brunch and dinner , quite good.

Only one thing was not so good, the noise of the heating device în the room. It was very noisy, curios for a hotel only 6 years old.

This wasn’t our first stay at the Glen House. We choose it for the location and never tire of sitting outdoors, even in winter, and looking up at Mt. Washington. The hotel is first-class with staff that seemingly enjoy working there.

Considering the price point of this hotel and its location, it would be more attractive to us for more frequent stays if the restaurant and tavern were limited to adults only after 7 or 8 p.m.. The noise from one large group alone detracted from the relaxing holiday ambience we expect of the facility, to the point that several staff apologized for it during our meal.

The view and vibe were exactly as we had hoped- incredible. Food and drinms at the bar were surprisingly delicious. Staff was VERY kind and helpful and friendly. Amenities were all perfect. Great rooms (we stayed in a king mountain view) with good size and space. LOVED that it had 2 EV chargers as we took our Tesla to the hotel. Found it nice that locals came for drinks, dinner, and to sit by the fire at night overlooking the mountains.

The ONLY thing this hotel is missing is a hot tub. After grueling hikes for 5 days inna row, my sore body was dying for a hot tub. Even better would have been a COLD TUB for sore muscles. Or a sauna!

Beautiful location. Nice room, clean and very comfortable. Staff at check in was very helpful with good suggestions for activities on a rainy day.

On the expensive side, but we were there during fall foliage season. They provide free tea and coffee in the lobby from 5 am to 5 pm, but it would be nice if it was available a little later, like until 8, so that you didn’t need to buy it in the restaurant/bar. Having microwaves in the rooms would have been nice for us. I appreciate the hotel’s desire to be self-sustainable in terms of energy use and consumption, but having tea/coffee and a microwave in the rooms would have been nice. When we were checking out, we tried to get some tea and coffee for the road and the carafes were empty. Just bad timing on our part I guess.

Clean, quiet, nice shower. Good pool. Restaurant was good for dinner, delicious food, but a little on the high price side. Breakfast was in a better price range and also delicious. Staff were friendly and courteous. Beautiful view of the mountains. Nice patio/deck area.

Not sure what the $50 resort fee got us that we would not have gotten at a “regular” hotel. Also had a $50 hold was fine but wish we would have know about it prior to checkin.

Overall nice and clean hotel. Their restaurant is good as well. My problem described below is not with the hotel, but booking.com.

Booking.com has to change the way it sells the rooms of this hotel. It's completely different from how it's presented on hotel's web site. Hotel's web site indicates specifically which rooms are facing mountain Washington. I booked the room on booking.com and was under impression that my room will be facing mount Washington and I thought I splurged on the room with a view and the balcony. Instead my room was overlooking a parking lot. While booking.com stated my king room with "mountain view" and balcony, the same room described on hotel's web site as classic room with balcony, no view mentioned.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Gorgeous views and very nice options for food and cocktails. The room was spacious and modern and the beds were comfy.

The pool was teeny. The lobby and outdoor deck are lovely, modern and resort like but still cozy. However, a little music would be nice. The outdoor deck vibe was almost somber despite lovely cocktails and the outdoors fireplace etc.

It's been my 4th time at the Glen House. Needless to say, I love the hotel - from interior design to views, available activities, nearby hikes and excellent staff. This time, we stayed with a 9 month old baby and a dog. Towards the end of our stay, the baby had fever and we left early. The manager adjusted fees, reducing for the night we were not able to stay - even though the booking was non-refundable. Beyond expectations. Will definitely come back again this season! Complementary sugar glazed blueberry muffins at the restaurant for breakfast were super delicious!!!

Dinner menu does not offer much variety, particularly if you are returning customer and considering that there are no places to dine next door. Had to eat the same dish couple of times. It's ok but could be better :-)
