I genuinely don’t know why this place has a low rating, I was extremely happy with my stay!! The suite was absolutely huge!! It was clean, very comfortable, cozy, a nice big shower, had everything we needed and the staff were very helpful and kind. It was also next to the station which takes you straight into downtown Brooklyn and all the way to manhattan and Central Park. The line also goes straight to the airport! It really was a perfect place to stay. New York is a very expensive place so of course i think all the hotels here are overpriced but this was one of the cheapest I found and compared to the others I found for the same cost it was very good value for money.

Sort the lift out before someone gets stuck in it! ☺️ But nothing!!

The room did what we need it too and it had a safe . A minor problem we had was we reported the shower would not switch from rain head. It was not addressed however they may have looked at it and may have required a part ? The AC was excellent and any time we requested service or consumables there was a quick response.

The room would have benefited from a 2nd chair.

the rooms are beautiful and we love the bathroom setup with the shower having the cloudy glass which you see from the bade from the main area

the location is on a dead block and it’s a little dark. I’m good fine with it but I can see how some people might be put off

The hotel is located near an underground station, which makes it really convenient for a tourist to move around the city. The beds are also very comfortable, so after a long walk you get a good night's sleep. The room includes a small fridge, a microwave, and a coffee maker so even if you do not purchase meals, you can bring in whatever you like and manage with that.

The only thing we were missing in the morning was enough capsules for the coffee machine. There were 4 of us in the room and only two coffees and two teas so we had to make a deal. However, the hotel staff was very nice so I am pretty sure that if we asked for more, we'd get more (there was no time for that, that's all).

we got a big room, The beds were very comfy, big TV, nice shower, close to Metro Station, nice view from the Rooftop, in the room we had coffee machine, microwave and fridge, were super convenient. In general the room was pretty and cozy. Quiet at night and nice blackout curtains, we slept well.

Hotel is a bit worn out, although is nice, doesn’t look like the photos, seems like was very nice before but needs maintenance, was clean but doors were missing, some lights didn’t work, and so on, the area is a bit sketchy in the night but we didn’t feel unsafe, in general we enjoyed the stay. TV didn’t work for couple of days but they fixed it, the heater was super high and we had a hard time for 2 nights, was too hot but again the staff was nice finding the solution. Our expectations were too high for the photos, although, was good enough.

The staff were friendly & welcoming. They responded quickly to requests.

I had too many interruptions from staff asking me if I was checking out. There was a fire alarm & power outage on Sunday with no explanation given to guests. Then on Monday night around 1 am, there was a fire alarm w/ the fire dept attending. There was no explanation to guests offered. My friend met the fire chief on the steps in the building who told us we could return to our rooms. Again, the hotel staff offered not explanation or placed any notes under our doors informing us about where in the building or what caused the alarm.

I loved the high ceilings! I loved the bathroom it was a lot better than expected for the rating and the reviews. There were some cosmetic or minor things that could be fixed but for a 2 day stay where my goal was to sleep, this was not an issue at all. My room had no smell. Besides the staff being a bit dry I would say, just lack of energy or they move extremely slow for check in purposes, not that accommodating to help you but they stay out your way so I can’t complain.

Better energy when entering would be great the people checking us in are lack energy have nothing to give but I guess it’s fine because again as long as you get me checked in I cannot complain. they did not give me a reason to tip them which is my norm to tip. I would of liked the bar downstairs to be open now that would be amazing

The location is good. Very near the A and C lines in Brooklyn on Atlantic Ave. The staff was nice. There's a refrigerator and microwave. Shower was nice.

It's pretty sparse...only 2 coffee pods provided and two paper coffee cups. No bathroom cups. Mostly clean but dirty along the edges of rooms. Shade didn't work.

location was good for what I needed and close to a subway station so that was great. Smelled like smoke in some areas—especially hallway leading to rooms. But Room was clean and spacious; bathroom was clean. . I was only there for 1 night. would recommend

Bathroom was clean and I was happy to take a long shower before bed. However, the rain shower dripped all night long. I was only there overnight so didn’t complain about it.

Omg this place was amazing. Beds were so comfortable and the shower!! omg. It was the best. Loved our stay here

The location is okay if you don’t mind taking the metro for multiple stops. It takes a little longer to get to for example Times Square. The neighborhood is also not the nicest, but for me, the comfortable things of the hotel made up for it
