Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. We were in town for a high school reunion and the Chalet was the closest and most convenient motel.

The parking lot needs serious resurfacing! Also the absence of any work surface like a desk or something similar made it very difficult to check email or do anything else on the computer. The overall 60s-70s vibe of the Chalet may not appeal to some folks but was fine with us.

this place will always be home for our family anytime we visit long island. Donna the owner of the hotel was great, even her family who took over in her absence was excellent. The maids were excellent, the front office managers were excellent both daytime and night-time were excellent! The property was well managed! And Security was excellent! You don't have to worry about losing your personal belongings, devices or important documents! You come back and meet your stuff where you keep it or however it's kept in place. All staffs are great with kids! The most excellent hotel I have ever stayed. Absolutely no regrets!

Nothing else! They were that Excellent! I can't think of anything wrong! I had interpersonal communication with everyone! They had never met and my family before and they treated us with great respect and honor! No Hotel I have can beat that! Keep up the great work!

The hotel was in a great location and I liked that it had character and seemed more interesting at most hotels I stay at. It was very comfortable and I would come back again!

Overall, I though this hotel was really great. The only thing was I wished my room had a microwave, as I did have food with me that needed to be heated.

We use the room basically for sleep as we were visiting family in town. The room was nice and dark so it was great for sleeping. It also was nice and quiet in the area, even though it seem like it was constantly filled with people. Office people and maintenance man were very friendly. And the room was always made clean and the beds were made incredibly well while we were gone.

The only thing I didn’t like was that the bathroom could use a hook on the back of the door and perhaps a small table to put things on. Other than that the bathroom was spacious.

It’s charming going back up the days of real keys and door knobs, without the electronics. The location is superb on the north shore of Long Island. The room was extremely clean.

Lack of outlets on the nightstands for phone charging. TV went out after a very heavy rain storm.

I love this little motel! The pool is absolutely beautiful and clean! Very clean and comfortable rooms. And priced fairly for the area. No frills but Perfect for a show at the Paramount if traveling from out of state!

Would like a microwave in the room. There is a communal one.

The premises are very nice. Quiet. Great staff. Friendly, straightforward. In my opinion you won't find much like this for the price in the area.

The room smelled a little musty. It was like this the last time we came here too. Just aired it out for a while and it was good.

Breakfast included some bakery and coffee in the main office. The hotel is clean and well-maintained. The location is good, close to restaurants (2 min). In general, decent place for money, Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable.

While this may not be a 5 star hotel, for the cost this is really a very nice place that I would highly recommend. The management is quite friendly and welcoming, the accommodations are comfortable and clean, and if you're visiting the area it is a good location.

We knew that will be very simple coffee -tea-snack breakfast, it is in the polucy, so we brought food with us. But it is a lot lovely places around to have breakfast. Beautiful gardens, trees, pool!!!

The pond is soo beautiful, I missed it already. Just some fix near the pond not to bother , Swans, ducks and other birds, dragonflies...It is so great!
