We loved the location, the clean and comfortable room, the 1st floor and accessible room, as well as the courteous and friendly staff that we came into contact with! We loved being able to control the room temperature, i.e., make it cooler for sleep and warmer again in the morning! The bed was more firm than we would have liked but not such that we were stiff or sore in the morning. We enjoyed the coffee, scrambled eggs, and corned beef hash from the continental breakfast. The coffee maker being in the room and the in-room television were appreciated.

We would have liked the coffee maker to be on a different table and lower down, rather than as an afterthought on the top and back corner end of the television cabinet. We would have liked at least two decaf and two regular coffee k-cups in the room for the two of us. We had a hard time understanding how to choose a channel on the TV but did receive an offer of room visit and help from the friendly although not too knowledgeable (at least about the TV) front desk person. Wished there had been ESPN. A fourth pillow on the bed on the bed would have been better. We would have liked some fresh fruit options or at least some pre-made individual serving fruit cups (such as Libby's diced peaches or mandarin orange sections in 100% juice)

The pool and hot tub have long operating hours. They were serving eggs and sausages for breakfast, plus bread and cereal. The location is close to restaurants, most notably Chick-fil-A. They did some renovations in the bathroom as the bathroom sink now has a modern design. The coffee machine in the room is more modern (previously it was a standard coffee filter and powder, now it's K-pods). Some coffee, tea, and hot chocolate were served in the lobby.

Need to improve to clean the bathroom floor. Need to change the bedsheets; the sheets were somewhat "clean". The elevator was loud, even if our room was in front, but not beside it.

This is my go to hotel to stay at up there and I always recommend it to family and friends. The beds are comfy, breakfast is good, coffee is great (which is hard to find), pool is nice and big, staff is always friendly.

The only issues I really have is they need to put more towels and wash clothes in the bathroom it's usually set up for 3 people, we always have to ask for another set since we have 4 people. Also housekeeping needs to focus on cleaning the rooms a little more, they are fairly clean and are one of the cleanest hotels I stayed at but a couple times I found spots that need a little extra love.

I am a 63 year old, still currenlty active, airline pilot, so I have seen a loooot of hotels. I found the hotel to be better than many of the poor reviews. My room was not new but very clean. Good space in the room, yes the bathroom was smaller than most but I couldn't care less about that. Door very secure, room and bedding very clean. I was on the ground floor beside parking lot, so the worst room they had I guess, but still fine. The only negative was I was on the highway side of the hotel, and if a truck was running on the rumble / buzz grooves on the edge of the highway, you could hear it in the room. I slept soundly regardless. For light sleepers, ask for a room on the other side of the hotel, away from the highway.

Summer prices in the area are high. I noticed that the further south you go, the lower the prices get for similar accommodation, which leads me to believe the demand is higher close to the border with Canada, and since they have greater demand, why not jack up the prices, even though you're making money at the normal price level? Seemed unnecessary, since hotels a bit further south are apparently making money at regular prices.

The arcade area was a very nice surprise, I didnt use it but the pool and hot tub looked nice. I honestly didn't check amenities I just got what was close to where I needed ti be that seemed reasonable in price and barely over $100 was right where I needed to be to expense it through my job. So everything that was there was actually a surprise to me, I expected very little as far as extras like a good pool, arcade ect. go. I will be planning a future visit to stay over on my next work trip and maybe take the next day to go to Saranac. Thank you for a great stay!

Room could've been a little more up to date some of the furniture was a bit stained. But it's older and honestly I am just nit - picking. It wasn't anything to be upset about, that's for sure.

The room was clean and soothingly decorated. The TV was large enough so I could watch it. The bathroom was fully equipped and there was enough hot water and the shower’s water pressure was great. The breakfast had many options and what I ate was delicious. The heat/AC in the room was wonderful. It was controlled by a wall thermostat which worked very well. The location of the hotel was right off the highway and closed to many restaurants and stores.

There was no anti slip in the bathtub. I am an older person and have a fear of slipping and falling.

Breakfast was hot and stocked. The front desk lady on Saturday morning was amazing and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Pool was warm and the kids had a great time. It snowed Saturday night and plows came and cleared the parking lot bright and early.

Most front staff were cold and not welcoming. Most seemed annoyed when you asked for something like they were being put out. A few games in the arcade were broken and not dispensing prizes. Breakfast could use a few more options but overall well stocked and hot. My main complaint is that you are not able to pay cash at arrival and only when you leave. Due to this I was told a hold would be put on my card for the full amount plus a fee per day. This is inconvenient and now I have a hold that will take a few days before it's available to me again.

Very impressed with the cleanliness of the room, particularly the bathroom. I normally find one or two spots that could have been cleaned better but everything passed the white glove test. Bath linens were plentiful, fluffy, soft and clean. King bed was a bit softer than I'm used to but it was still very comfortable, as were the pillows. Bed linens were also soft and clean. Quiet location set back from the main road but lots of shopping and restaurants very close. Breakfast had great selection of hot and cold foods including waffles, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, bagels, toast, biscuits, cereal, yogurt and several juices.

Operating the TV was quite a challenge. Understanding the guide and how to get to the channel you want was not easy and there was no information in the room to provide guidance. The floor in the hallway leading to the rooms on the first floor is wonky and uneven under the carpet. Anyone with mobility challenges could easily trip or fall.

Location is convenient and close to everything. Room was decent, beds were comfortable. Shampoo and such was nice touch, and smelled wonderful.

The only down side is you are close to the highway and the noise was a little more than we expected. There was a huge crack in the bathtub wall tiles. The back door of the bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. The option of a pool was nice, but it looked dirty due to the bottom peeling - at least that's what I hope it was.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Beautiful fall scene mural on the wall! The beds were very comfortable. The pool is very large and wonderful for swimming. Enjoyed the hot tub as well. Breakfast was fantastic! It really was a great experience. Very convenient location - lots of shopping and restaurants nearby (walking distance) I will go back for sure if I am in the area.

The only downside, and we didn't do anything about it, we were right beside the elevator so we could hear the elevator very often (not people talking, but the actual machine). Next time, we would take a room not near the elevator.
