The staff was amazing. Love the flavored water and coffee station in the lobby and the parting gift of fudge. Staff in the kitchen was very accommodating for a vegetarian diet in the breakfast buffet. The location is fabulous. Walking distance to everything. The building has great charm. It needs a bit of upgrading but overall it felt comfortable and so friendly and a was unique experience to be in such a historic Inn that feels very well loved.

When we arrived, the room was not ready yet, but they also upgraded us to the cottage area because they were pretty sold out which was really nice of them. It was a great. Even though the room was not ready yet, they were able to accommodate me to get ready for a wedding we what had to be at. The girls at the front desk really went out of their way to help us. The breakfast is really great.

The pillows are horrendous. They were so bad I couldn’t sleep and I ended up having to switch to one of the ornamental pillows that are used for decoration.

You have to keep in mind that this is a very old building which has been modernised to accomodate people to stay over night or longer. Our room was spacious & well appointed. We enjoyed a large bedroom with a four poster bed, a sitting room with two armchairs & a very modern bathroom. There was also a small refrigerator & an open closet to hang clothes. The amenities in the bathroom were pleasant & the towels were soft & fluffy. Paying $10 per person for breakfast is a must do. The selection made available was fantastic value!

The air conditioning was very noisy.

Staff was very pleasant and accommodating! Good location and great rate.

Room furnishings were definitely a bit outdated, which is fine and part of the charm of the hotel, but the carpets were old, dirty and desperately need to be replaced. Also, there are only window air conditioners, which made the rooms cool enough on a couple days that I was there and the temperature was in the high 70’s and cool at night. I can’t imagine staying there when it’s very hot.

I am tired of glass and steel. I bask in the beauty of hard wood and deep upholstered furniture. The bed was superb, and deep and comfortable. The room was nice and warm. The buffet breakfast was great. And the hotel is in a great location for historic sites which I visited, like the Old Cassino.

Not much to dislike.

Breakfast was excellent, fresh food and pastries and a charming dining room, very kind staff. Great location, and easy parking. Nice period furnishings. Coffee maker and fridge in room. Easy check in and out. All was prepared as expected. Great value in an expensive town.

Historic building, showing some age in upstairs corridors, but that comes with the historic charm I guess.

I like its location,the restaurant and the room is quite cozy. I also like its historic qualities.

The room is too dark, just two small lamps, leaving half the room quite dark. You couldn’t sit in the chairs and read.

Comfy bed. Love the location, we were able to walk just about everywhere. Staff was pleasant and the Inn is so quaint- one o the oldest active inns in Saratoga since the 1800s.

One day our room was not made up, not a big deal, but after a day out, to come back to a unmade bed was a little unwelcoming.

Loved the historic decor, including the cozy front porch. Location was great, short walk to downtown area with lots of restaurant choices. Buffet breakfast reasonable at cost of $10 per person.

The Victorian style beds with very high footboards, while cool to look at, made it impossible to watch the TV while in bed. Had to sit up to see it over the height of the furniture.

The Inn is a quaint place to stay with nice decor, it is very clean and the location is perfect. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants in town. The breakfast was very nice and reasonable. The staff, especially Jennifer and Bree, were extremely helpful when we had an issue with our rooms and provided excellent customer service! I would stay here again.

Some of the room features need updating. Our room needed shades to block outside lighting at night.
