The location put you within walking distance of restaurants and shops. The rooms were clean. The beds were very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The price was reasonable compared to similar offerings in the area. WiFi was available throughout the property and Dish cable was clear and reliable. There were several charging ports as well as a power cube that provided plenty of space to plug in anything you brought with you. Even though the temperature was frigid outside, the room stayed pretty comfortable. There was a table and chairs so you could eat in room if you so desired.

The room could have had a few minor repairs. Air came in around the entrance door, but the heat compensated for that. The bathroom door had a couple small holes, but the bathroom itself was very clean. There was a slight musty smell initially, but perhaps that room hadn’t been used in a while. It dissipated quickly. The ice machines were frozen up, but the desk actually brought me a small amount from the ice they used in the office. There was street noise, but you are on a main road, so that would have been in any hotel you chose in this area. The pools were closed, but we knew they were seasonal when we booked.

Great Customer service! Carsen was super sweet and very attentive. The room, microwave, fridge, lobby and grounds were very very clean. Did not see a single piece of trash or even a cigarette butt anywhere on the ground. Very taken care of for an older hotel. Close to everything. We even woke up to seeing 5 - 6 Elk outside of our room ... AMAZING! We Will definitely be back ❤️

A/C unit in room a little noisy and outside porch light shined in room but no biggie. The fact that the room was very clean and beds along with pillows were comfortable was all that mattered truly. It was a GREAT place to stay.

It is the perfect location and a great value. The pool is perfect for children, and the staff are very friendly. There is always someone available if you have any questions or need assistance. There is a laundry room available for guests, but it takes quarters. You will need $4.50 to wash and dry a load. Our microwave messed up during our stay and the maintenance man came and switched it out for us. Great customer service!

We stayed 4 nights and housekeeping never came in to change our sheets or bring us new towels, etc. I had to go to the front desk every day to get new towels, toilet paper and trash bags. That was the only thing that I can say is a minus in terms of rating. For the price, we didn't mind taking the extra time to do it.

We live in the Metro Atlanta area and need to get away from the fast pace of our lives. We love going to the NC Mountains to do that. This was our first time staying at this hotel. I can not say enough about this hotel. The staff was very very nice and made great suggestions on eating places, things to do etc. The place is an older hotel but you would not know it by the way it has been taken care of. It is within walking distance of many things to do and eat. It was a very peaceful stay. We will be coming back for more mini vacations in the future.

This is exactly what I expected and paid for -- nothing fancy by any means but everything was cleaqn and comfortable. The location is ideal for a visit to Cherokee -- close to shops and places to eat as well as the a river walk for exercise. Good water pressure, and the microwave & fridge were clean and functional.

It was not exactly quiet in my room -- a child running about in a room above me sometimes until night. Can't really complain, but the hotel was not fully booked at the time and I suspect it would be a different story in the busy season.

The room was very clean. The beds are very comfortable. We were given plenty of towels. The location of the motel was in a quiet area but still close to everything. Very pleased with our stay.

The lighting in the room could have been better. Only one lamp and an overhead light above the table and chairs. I'm older and don't have the best sight. A bit more counter space in the living area would be nice as well but we made do. Neither of these issues would stop us from staying here again.

I really liked the lobby. It's a gorgeous, rustic log cabin look. Flawless landscaping. Very nice pool area. Everything was clean and the staff was super friendly. We were just passing through on a road trip but this by far was the most peaceful. It's not on the main strip but to me that's a plus. Check out a creekside park just maybe 1/2 mile away. Excellent for wading, floating, picnics etc.

The only negative I had was no decaf coffee in the lobby. They had packets in the room though so no big deal. My wife can't have caffeine.

Everything! Convenient to both the Cherokee activities and is the closet Inn to the National Park. As to personnel, all are superb. A standout is the daytime desk clerk, Sarah. She has had years of hotel experience and it shows. Congenial, efficient, capable and caring. When asking for decaf coffee for the hospitality table, she was more than happy to oblige. She also happily procured a rolling cart for us to use with the transfer of luggage to our room. Probably the best at what she does that we have experienced in our travels in a number of years. Our room was spotless when we arrived. The best lodging for the money we have encountered in a long time. Not the newest facility, but extremely well maintained. We were VERY PLEASED with the room. Spacious, great queen mattresses, well furnished with microwave, room-sized refrigerator and a table for eating with two chairs.

Don't have any complaints. The WiFi could be better, but I got a feeling that's more the overall location and less the Inn.

The room was totally refurbished top to bottom - immaculate! Staff was friendly, and location was a short walk to shops, the river, and a great restaurant. Room rate was great, new fridge, microwave, heat/ac unit - a perfect overnight stay. Closeby was Mingo Falls and the Museum of the Cherokee People. We used a national park system fall leaf map to find the dates when they were peaking for colors. We were a few days late for the higher elevations due to warmer than usual temps and drought conditions, but in and around Cherokee they were beautiful.

Everything was perfect - no issues at all.
