I use to stay at the Econo lodge with my Military hiusband when he was alive. So when my neice and I went to Cherokee and the casino I decided to show her all the things and the Econo lodge we always tried to stay at. We had a wonderful time and of course the lodge was a bonus she loved it. In fact the nights we were at the lodge were the most quiet and peaceful we had , had in a long time.

Nothing to dislike, the Econo Lodge was exceptinal. The people went out of their way to make us feel like we were more family than just people staying there. We loved our stay.

This is a great location especially if you want a short walk to downtown Cherokee, a short ride to the casino or to be centrally located to some amazing sights of the valley. The hotel was clean, the beds were comfortable and well cared for. the cleaning staff did a great job every day.

Honestly this is a solid choice especially for the price range so I'm good! I'll be back!

The location was great and it was beautifully decorated hotel overall. Our rooms were spacious enough and everything was clean. Breakfast was good and the overall stay was good. The staff member we encountered was a young girl and she seemed to very nice and was working hard, especially during breakfast with a big crowd as well as front desk duties.

The one thing we didn’t like, which wasn’t necessarily the hotel’s issue, is that we stayed next to a family with children who were outside their room next to us pretty late into the night and they were very loud and kept opening and closing their door. Hotel wise, the bed could’ve been a little softer for my personal preference. The breakfast area didn’t have drink options at the time we were there besides coffee. Something must have been going on with that because the employee said someone was bringing it.

Location was exceptional. Staff lovely. Parking right in front of room was a must with my knee replacement. I drove from Orlando, Fl and mesmerized on the mountain roads. Originally from rural Va and felt right at home. Spent last night there sitting by the river watching the sunset. I'll never forget my stay in Cherokee ❤️

Traveling as a party of 5 it is difficult to find a room we can all stay together. This place has 2 rooms with 3 beds. Not 2 beds and a sofa bed but 3 double beds. It was perfect. Firm beds, clean room, breakfast didn’t have hot eggs sausage or biscuits and gravy like we like, but there was breakfast. Right in the middle of the shopping and local attractions too.

Prefer more hot breakfast, but the fact we had a room we could all stay in made up for it.

The room was very clean, location was very convenient to pretty much everything. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There could be a few more options for breakfast. Peter's pancake down the street was amazing, if you are in the area I suggest trying them out!

Bed seems to be comfortable at first contact, but woke up very achy. Otherwise, there was nothing I didn't like about the room and we will definitely stay there again when in the area.

The area is awesome and the location is awesome!! My room was spotless...and the wifi was ok. I was there about a .month after Hurricane Helene so the town was still reopening.

My bed was very squeeky and I could hear the neighbors breath...The TV's, talking , etc Maybe when the hotel isn''t really busy they could use every other room for more privacy.

Great location. We were only about 10 minute drive from all the shopping and attraction. It is right across the street from the park. Room was clean. They gave us clean towels everyday even when we were still at the room.

The breakfast could have been a little bit better. Not much to choose from. Would have like to have had bottle water available.

The location was great. The hotel was just 2 minutes from the downtown shops. The staff was friendly with an easy check in. The room was clean and smelled good. Stayed on second floor and there were rocking chairs outside each room. It was peaceful sitting and starring at the beautiful mountain in front of me.

The free breakfast was not great. No juice so I had to drink water cause I don't drink coffee and only sugar free suryup. Not much of a variety.

They location and how quiet and safe it was. Comfortable beds and clean room and shower. Easy of the check out and it was like even if you needed to go out at night you were safe. They staff is there 24/7 if need anything during the night

They take out money before your trip $157 to be exact, and if you are not there at 3pm to check in they will call you and ask you when you are thinking of coming. They only take credit/ debit cards when you check in and you can only pay cash at check out. I was not informed before of this so it was difficult when we arrived I had to give my cash to my friend who luckily had money on her credit card for us to use.
