This was our first trip to Cleveland, OH. Friendly and professional staff greeted us upon arrival and check-in. We enjoyed the street view (more natural lighting) from our assigned room. We equally enjoyed the convenience of the cafe and pizza eatery that adjoin the property. Other eateries and bars are in close proximity and easily accessible on foot. Overall, we had a solid, wonderful stay at the Hyatt Regency Cleveland at The Arcade.
The Hyatt Regency Cleveland at The Arcade is an older, historical property. The creaks that exist in the flooring is the one annoyance that detracted from the quietness of the room.

Centrally located to everything we wanted to do, we were able to walk to several different restaurants and shops nearby, valet parking made getting in and out alot simpler, all of the staff was absolutely stellar, they even found my husband's phone charger and shipped it to us. The food in 1890 restaurant was excellent.
We were ok with it but someone else may have an issue, there was a wedding there on Friday and Saturday night night during our stay. We were able to hear the music and frivolity while we were in our room. They were both done by 11:00, but if you need a very quiet room not the best fit. Our room had a lovely view of the hotel center but the other windows looked right into a parking garage. Again we didn't mind it but someone else might.

Visually, the inside of the hotel was magnificent! The "Arcade" was beautifully decorated for Christmas. It was quite the view! 😍 The staff were all kind, courteous and extremely helpful. Our room smelled lovely and the thermostat worked really well.
Ummm, our room refrigerator leaked water on the carpet and there was a baby cockroach in the cup that held the cotton balls and such. (That was a HUGE deal-breaker for me, however, I saw ZERO signs of any other bugs of any sort after that first day.

I loved that our room opened onto the Arcade which is simply spectacular. I loved that the hotel is walking distance to many attractions.
I didn’t like that the view out our windows was horrible but there isn’t much they can do as the hotel is sandwiched between two buildings. I didn’t like that the hotel only had creamer packets. I bought coffee every morning at the coffee shop on the ground level of the arcade. When we arrived, there was food left on a table. That made me question how thoroughly they clean between guests.

We didn't have breakfast at the hotel. We had a flat bread and drinks in the 1890 lounge in the evening. Foods was good and server was great. There was a wedding reception in the hotel the night we stayed. The staff made us a aware and were concern we might be bothered. We were not. It was fun to see and we enjoyed the music.
We wanted to drink our morning coffee by the fire in the hotel lobby by the desk but it was off. The clerk at the desk didn't know how to turn on the fireplace and claimed he would have to call an enginer to turn it on. We said don't bother.

Once inside the hotel, you can really appreciate the beautiful building. Very unusual and great to see how it's been preserved and now used. The staff were all very friendly and helpful; made us feel welcome. The bedroom ticked all the boxes; not exceptional, however nothing to complain about. Overall, a pleasant 2 night stay.
Due to the time of year, the hotel was exceptionally quiet, which gave it a strange feel. In truth, this applied to the whole of Cleveland. Assume it'll have a better feel in the Summer.

I love the architecture of this landmark building, and the location is perfect for downtown Cleveland visits. But the staff is EXEMPLARY! From checking in to valet parking, they were all amazing except housekeeping..
The first room we were placed in was so dirty and appeared to have not had attention to it in months. For the price I expected so much more. Just because the building is historic has nothing to do with cleanliness. Our bathroom actual had the remnants of a previous guest...pretty gross. We asked to be moved and the 2nd room in a busier part of the hotel that the associate advised was an upgrade was just as unkempt. The housekeeper we had to hunt down seemed bothered we asked to have our bathroom cleaned. And she didn't even wear gloves which in itself was off putting. The amount of hair ( I am far from a blonde), stained shower curtain and substance on the walls..there was no other hotel available due to so many events we just made due.

perfect location for downtown Cleveland. Close to all kinds of activities to do. atmosphere was absolutely incredible. staff was so friendly and helpful. valet was quick, professional and on time. so many things to do inside the hotel as well which was awesome. Room service was quick and delicious. The rooms were quiet and you wouldn’t even be able to tell anyone else was there with how nice the noise canceling was. There was a wedding going on during our stay and you would have never known. the room was perfect, clean, huge ceilings, huge smart tv, the water pressure was on point in the shower. also had an ironing board and iron. life saver. the hotel was very eye pleasing and we will be back again. thank you to the incredible staff.
honestly we loved everything

Comfortable, spacious room, in good condition. Great location, convenient to the Public Square and the rail line to the airport, with one of the main restaurant rows just across the street (there are also coffee and pizza places inside the building). The Arcade, a spectacular historic space, is actually part of the hotel.
A minor quibble: the historic character of the building doesn't carry over the rooms, which are fine but generic.

The location was close to the office I was going to. So I walked over to my appointment. That was super convenient
The hotel is very outdated. There is no microwave in the room. There was no drinking water in the fridge, it could cost me a whole 4usd if I used the drinking water in the fridge. At night, the there were noises and the bed seemed to tremor. The view was not good.
