The convenience of checking in was awesome. All you do is set a time of arrival and download the app the access your room once you arrive. The room was super cozy and comfortable, even with 4 guests. The resort itself was super comfortable, they have fire pits going for guests to hang out at along with a restaurant inside. The food was great and hanging out outside by the fire was awesome. I'll definitely be coming back at some point in the future!

There really wasn't much I didn't like. The only thing I could think of is maybe a more clear direction to where the beach access is. Unless I missed something, the only way to know where the beach is, is following signs until you have reached past their property, then after that point you have to guess which direction through a long neighboorhood. Having a map that's easy to find near the front could be helpful.

Only thing we did not like was the hideabed, very uncomfortable. Woke up sore, the couch just sank. The cabin rooms were nice, very comfy cabin

The walking distance was further then we were aware. It was to far for my 90 year old dad Remote access with phone never worked correctly When we got there we were an early checking which we appreciated. The only issue was the room smelled like pot, very strong at times.

King bed was comfortable nice living room with flat screen tv ,pull out sofa bed. every thing was very clean. small ref. coffee maker, they even had a smores kit for the outdoor fire pit.The outdoor grounds were very nice, also in the area had a 9 hole game in the sand we had fun with that.

Did not have a full kitchen, Had trouble with check-in and tv programming Had excellent help from the staff, we are not tech.savvy. I got locked out 2 times

The place was like a mini Disney Pirates of the Caribbean. Decorated in a nautical theme. Room was fantastic. Little kitchen with table. Two bedroom suite. Beds were very comfortable and the rooms were uniquely decorated. TV ran thru Roku. So you could to any app you want as long as you can login. Everything was very clean and neat. Management was very friendly and accommodating. No breakfast but your in town close to a lot of places. You can walk to the beach. They even had a free laundry room everything provided.

Really couldn't find anything to complain about

We loved our two day stay at The Anchor Inn Resort. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and went above and beyond when we had an issue with our room upon arrival. We especially loved the kingsize bed where all four of us sat and watched a movie from the extensive movie library on site. We also liked the game room very much. It is easy to hear people in the other cottages but as long as everybody behaves respectfully - which was the case during our stay - then it is fine. The bathroom is a bit to the small side which may bother som people.

Nothing really - we did however expect the property to be closer to the beach than it actually was.

The whole place was nice & comfy for us & or younger kids up to the teens age. Plus us adults had fun playing the games they have on around the grounds of the Hotel! The rooms with 2 separate beds in two supersets rooms! Always a Plus+!!! The young man at the Desk to check us in helped allot & even have us direction on places in the area! Thank You! ❤ The Laundry was piled up, they had complimentary laundry! Thank You for that too, we traveling & far from home... good to have clean clothes done & ready for the next couple days left of the trip! Complimentary snacks & drinks & Smore Kit & Popcorn! Thank You! Nice sitting areas out around the rooms & close to the rooms, walkway to the Beach! Yes always fun!

Staff was AMAZING, she was so sweet and helped out when I couldn't get the room key app to work. Super nice both times she answered the phone to deal with my questions before we even got to the Inn. The room was super clean and equipped with comfort and everything you could need! We absolutely loved it and we both are hoping to come again in the future!

I don't think there was really anything that bothered me. Staff was great. Room was great. You could hear people from other rooms but not too bad and it's a trip you kinda expect not silence ESPECIALLY on the fourth. Loved it!

Loved the property. Love the fire pits ( we used the wood fire pit under the trees We stayed in207 Nice big room!

The kitchen was too sparsely equipped. Needed cutting board, glasses, cooking pots. Everything else was fine. And there were a lot of nice little touches (amenities room! Fire pits in front were nice, but there was an radio station playing that had a lot of obnoxious commercials. Also- lots of dvds to borrow, but our room had no dvd player. We didn’t know who to ask, since no front desk.

Never did we think we could find such a gem 💎 . Our kids were blown away with everything we played corn hole , thousands of video games movies a sand box. Fire pits and gas pits for all to enjoy free s'mores oh mini golf out back beach is awesome walk and a few flights of stairs down and your there . Such an awesome place we will be back and food top notch . Full laundry room just what a family needs for bonding !

Broken clubs for the golf game and broken controllers for the video games but understandable with kids use .

It was a great motel with lots of little extra touches, especially for the kids. Lots of things for the family to do for free including mini golf, a game room, fire pits, and smores package in the room. There was also a restaurant on site. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Wish it was closer to the beach.
