Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Nice location within Seaside. Friendly staff for the most part. Thankful they called when they found item I had left behind.

Hot tub in desperate need of cleaning - green film all over floor. Washing machine was expensive and broken TWO separate times during week long stay, ended up going to get quarters elsewhere and came back to broken washer, so now I have $15 in random quarters for no reason. TV almost never worked to watch - relied heavily on DVDs at night time. Elevator was nothing short of terrifying. Definitely not worth what I paid for the week. Could have stayed at a nicer hotel for a negligible cost difference.

Location was perfect - easy 5 ish block walk to the beach (totally doable for our four and six year olds while we carried chairs, toys, beach bag…). The arcade/bumper cars/Doogers/swan boats/etc felt even closer. (But also great to be a block or two out of the crowds) Hotel was clean, room was spacious (river side suite with the kitchenette). Staff was friendly, helpful.

Breakfast was okay - bagels, cereal, waffle maker, etc. Cold hard boiled eggs and string cheese, but no scrambled eggs/sausage/etc.

Back in March, on a whim, my husband and I chose to take a little overnight trip, and we chose River Inn. Our first experience at the hotel was so nice we chose to come back to celebrate our anniversary trip. When we booked through booking.com, we had let the hotel know it was our anniversary not really sure if anything was going to happen, but I figured I'd mention it. When we checked in it was the same nice gentleman at the front as it was in March. I happened to mention how much I loved the cookies they serve in the lobby after 4 and one of the guys in the front told me what brand they were. So we make our way up to our room and they had set out some candy, a card and towels in a heart swan on our bed for us 🥹. That little gesture was so absolutely nice. We did enjoy the pool and hot tub later that evening which was pleasant and relaxing. The next day we went on a hike and when we came back the front desk guys gave me a print out of the cookies so I got the right ones like that was beyond nice of him to do that. Enjoyed the hot tub again for a little while after the hike and swan paddle boats we definitely needed that soak. The hot water and pressure in the shower was great. Bed was comfortable. Tv picture was crisp Free cookies 10 out of 10 We absolutely will be repeat customers.

The mini fridge did not keep our stuff cold and the pillows were too soft but that's a personal preference.

We are repeat guest at this facility. Usually visiting 4 or 5 times a year. We are always treated well when we visit! The staff are professional while seeking to meet our needs/requests.

We missed a couple of items we were used to finding in our room. I admit , I enjoy the taffy even if it isn’t on my diet plan. I enjoy having a pen and note pad in our room as we make reservations for meals and activities. Also, the chance to visit in the lobby in the evening with other guest as well as staff was missed by several of us who visited over breakfast.

Love this hotel, our room smelled so clean floors and everything just super clean. Fresh cookies I. The lobby were amazing, bon fire area clean and quiet. Slept with our window open and the breeze off the river kept us perfectly comfortable. ac worked but just never needed to turn it on. Pool and hot tub clean and not over crowded. Free breakfast was waffles, muffins, biscuit and gravy, yogurt, coffee, 4 kinds of juice, cereal, hard boiled eggs and more, Play area for kids was clean and entertaining.

Nothing lived it

Breakfast was provided down in the lobby for free which was a deciding factor along with price against other hotels in area. It was all breads and cereal. It would have been nice to have some sort of protein available however. Hard boiled eggs were available, but I did not want that. The beds in my room, 413 were very comfortable, but right next door in my sister in laws room, 411 they were not comfortable at all.

Better breakfast choices available. Some kind of sausage or bacon would have made the breakfast very good and filling. Very carb heavy with no protein options.

Breakfast selection was very good. Room was very clean and comfortable. Lobby welcoming and staff friendly. Watching the salmon jump in the river from our room. Location was perfect for walking around shops and restaurants.

TV didn't work so had to have maintenance come in on our second day to fix. Pool was small with kids splashing and jumping in so not ideal for us. Understandably it was raining outside our whole visit so kids were always in the pool so we never used. Weather was terrible so disappointed we didn't get to sit by the fire or even use our balcony, but obviously not hotels fault. These are all minor issues though, so would recommend this hotel.

The Breakfast was really good. They had a variety of things to eat including waffles, hardboiled eggs, pastries, cereal, biscuits and gravy, Coffee, juices,. The rooms were very clean and nice. The soaps and lotions were upscale and the towels decorative.

The Beds themselves could have been a little bit softer. The pillows would have been better if they were full size pillows rather than decorator pillows for sleeping. Otherwise, it was a great experience.

Very clean comfortable room, staff very pleasant and helpful. Swimming pool a very big bonus especially when the weather turned bad. Hotel centrally located in the tourist area of town, lots of places to eat close by, Breakfast was filling but lacked imagination and selection. On the whole i would stay there again in a heartbeat even without a sea view.

Lack of imagination for breakfast, same thing every morning severe lack of protein. No sea view. these are the only bad points i could see.

The people who do the cleaning for this facility should really take a bow and be highly commended. They make the place outstanding. It is very clean. The beds are clean and comfortable too. Location is great, parking is great. Outdoor fire at the river edge. It was quiet.

They had a 24.00 dog fee that we were unaware of until we were at the desk getting our key. Breakfast wasn't all out at 6:30 and it was supposed to be ready at 6. The tv didn't work and someone had to come to the room and fix it, wires were wrong.
