Loved the location, staff, pool and hot tub, vibe all around was chill and people were there to enjoy their stay. Also the fact that they allow dogs and there’s not 500 different rules around that was very refreshing! Our dogs were so comfy, it was like being at home. Also there was a kitchenette in our room which made having the dogs with us that much easier as well as just being able to grab some items from the store and keep them cold, etc

The bed was a little on the firm side which could be uncomfortable and the fireplace would have been awesome but it wasn’t working 🙁

This is a great place for the value. The location is on beach and close to everything you need (shopping, food, entertainment). But the staff is excellent. They are friendly and attentive. I have stayed here 2 years in a row, even the same room, same view, everything. We chose this place over higher end, higher priced hotels because the overall experience is always excellent without the high cost.

The room was great and had stunning view of the ocean. There was some sort of volleyball tournament going on which contributed to mass activity along the beach. Exciting and fun. The first two days we were there the ocean water was very cold. The third day the water was much warmer and I was able to venture into the water near the bigger waves. We go to Laguna in the summers, which was the first place I ever lived in a home pretty much on top of the sand, and spend all day in the water and walking around the streets so I like the ocean water to be warm enough to stay in, not arctic cold. Bottom line is the hotel was great and Seaside is an attractive little town.

Breakfasts could be a bit better featuring eggs, sausage, pancakes, or some such items. Bagels and yogurt doesn't satisfy me, however, they have really good cookies every night and coffee always available. There is a really nice heated pool and jacuzzi both very comfortably warm and quite awesome after coming from the ocean.

Great location, superb breakfast (great selection), cookies every night for my son at the office, comfy beds, sturdy chairs on the wonderful balcony, very quiet.

Bathroom was outdated, but functional. The pool was really busy, which was understandable this time of year. Family got stuck in the elevator, but management handled it to my satisfaction. The good far outweighs the negative at Hi Tide!

The location was perfect. Our windows looked out to the ocean and the promenade. The room was spacious and the facilities were all fine. Like other reviewers said, the hotel must be really old, and it was noticeable, but it was all functional and clean, so I have no reason to complain about that. The staff was excellent, very friendly.

We went there to escape a heatwave and have some fun time by the ocean, except the heatwave somehow reached the ocean shore area. So no air conditioner was seriously a problem. There was a fan in the room tho. Second big problem- no screen on the balcony door. We could certainly have a better sleep time if we could keep the big balcony door open. But no screen made it impossible. We also noticed that other rooms in the building had screen doors. I guess that is what you get booking last moment. We were lucky there was anything available with the ocean view at this time.

The location and the staff were both great and room was clean. The romance package was a great touch too for the wife and I celebrating our anniversary

A fan that could reach the window next time would have been ideal so we could cool the room off better. Our room was next to the feet washing station outside so it woke us up several times when people would turn it on. Room 104 A bigger tv would be nice too

Really liked the section of beach in front of the property, as well as the location of the hotel itself. Nice touches such as good quality hot coffee always available in the lobby, saltwater taffy available as well as fresh cookies at a certain time. The room had old harvest gold fixtures in the bathroom, so that may be a problem for some of you, but I found them quaint, and they were in good repair and exceptionally clean-good job on the cleaning staff!

As we visited during the peak of the clamming season, parking could be a little hit or miss, particularly in the early morning.

The location is very good and convenient to our trip. The staff was friendly and helpful. We liked the later check out time as well as the hours for the breakfast. Overall, the room was adequate and certainly met our travel needs.

The price seemed a bit steep for a partial view, no a/c, and the room could have had a small settee/love seat or even sofa. The dining area was sufficient but it was the only sitting area outside of sitting on the bed.

It has a pool and hot tub! They offer cookies at 6pm that are sooo good!! The staff is great there and always willing to answer my questions! We stayed in 2020 and again this year! Great property!

Room service was off a little. Since we were in the room they never came back to clean. We were there 4 nights and our sheets were not changed however that is partially my fault for not saying anything. They did bring more towels when I asked!

I made a reservation for a partial view room, as we aren't usually in the room much, we are out enjoying the sites. Our room was on the bottom floor overlooking the ocean. It was an amazing surprise. The room was well appointed and very roomy. with a small stove and sink. The check in was quick with incredibly nice staff in the office. They answered all of our questions and went above and beyond for anything we asked for. Breakfast was a continental breakfast, which was typical. We drove to Camp 18 for breakfast, which was amazing! The pool and hot tub were clean and relaxing. We stayed at the Best Western last year, but will be staying here from now on. The Best Western was a tiny room, more expensive and a further walk to the Seaside main street. Great stay!
