The REAL question should be: "What were we NOT completely blown away about!?! Our stay here started out as just an "overnighter"!! But as soon as we saw the room and everything that was included, we immediately went to the front desk AND extended for an extra day!!! This hotel/ suites is by far the most outstanding comfort/value in this continent!!!!

THERE'S NOT MUCH OF ANYTHING THAT WE DIDN'T LIKE!! We will GLADLY refer this hotel/suites to anyone!!!! IF there is ONE thing that COULD BE changed, or corrected, it would be their breakfast. It definitely was not at the same level as the rest of the facility. But that is a minor issue compared to everything else, especially since there is a complete kitchen in every room - so you can actually prepare your own breakfast!!!!!

The room was fabulous. Super comfortable bed, fireplace, dining table, fully equipped kitchen, standard sized refrigerator. The best part was the washer and dryer in the room (complimentary laundry pods at the front desk!). We were able to get all of our laundry done before we got home, so we finished our vacation with a suitcase full of clean clothes, ready to be put away when we got home. That was an amazing feeling! The rooftop patio had a nice view and would be great in warmer weather, just don't lean on the railings!!! The location is great, just a couple of blocks from the beach. It took us about 5 minutes to walk to the aquarium. Very good location.

The breakfast was a joke. The lady at check in said that it was a "full breakfast". When I think of a full breakfast, I think of hot items. No. It was cold cereal, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, dry muffins, and bagels. There was only one toaster, so everyone was standing around waiting their turn at it. But, when we stay again, we can just utilize the kitchen in our room and make a quick breakfast in there. I found it extremely odd and kind of inconvenient that the pool doesn't open until 9am and closes at 9pm. The fitness center was the same, opened late and closed early, but I have no intentions of using that so no big deal. Hahahaha!

We love rivertide suites! -The staff is always kind and respectful. -The AC worked well for a warm weekend on the coast. -The birds nest atop the hotel was open to watch the fire works on the 4th. -perfect water temperatures (sometimes hotels don’t have hot enough water for showers). -jetted tubes -love that most rooms have balcony’s -extra bathrooms in the lobbies -the bar and office rooms available if needed -access to vending machines -hotel is close to main strip but far enough to avoid masses of people during holiday weekends -tv is mounted and on a swivel for easy adjusting -washer and dryer -rooms have kitchenette

-elevator needs to be serviced. Can use the stairs but when carrying luggage you’ll be waiting a while for elevator if making multiple trips. -didn’t see a gym? Gym was advertised via booking listing. -bed is too firm for my personal liking. But some may love it. -stairwells and hallway carpets have a “wet” smell and need to be steamed cleaned soon. Probably due to pool frequenters

Location was great! Beautiful river views and close to beach and shopping. Staff were very helpful, continental breakfast provided, and indoor pool/hot tub on site. Comfortable beds, jacuzzi tub, two bathrooms, full kitchen, fireplace, and balcony were enjoyed amenities! Our family of 6 felt very comfortable and safe.

The queen bedroom did not have a TV in it and the king room had a very small one. The windows only open a part way, for safety I am assuming, but it is an extremely small opening. They have one elevator and it runs fairly slow, so it can take some time to check in or out.

We arrived almost 2 hours early and they were SOO accommodating, having a room ready for us and even receiving a complimentary room upgrade. The staff were beyond friendly and helped whenever we needed it and also entertained our 7 yr old everytime we were in the lobby which was quite a joy. Gym facilities were just enough to keep a moderate workout schedule going which was nice. Pool was great to have! And the continental breakfast was pleasant. Everything bagels ftw

Not much to dislike, I had enough of everything every time I needed it or they accommodated it quickly. Pool closed 1 hour early on the last night of our stay which was a bummer cause we enjoyed our night swim

Suites (2) for our family including one two year old dog. All worked wonderfully for our families. All aspects of Rooms, Take and Go Breakfasts and Customer Service Were Excellent. Exceptional Customer Service from Hotel to me after booking but before arrival about one month later. Several calls to clarify if there might be anything else that could make our family trip more comfortable.

Requested an ADA accessible room. Was told it was reserved for my one night stay. Was puzzled to find the bathroom had a step over & into tub to shower. Seems out of character with ADA intent. Did not have time on leaving to discuss with Front Desk staff. Perhaps there was a last minute room availability issue I was unaware of.

Beautiful motel, the washer and dryer was a nice touch plus , the kitchenette was also very nice, even though we didn’t use it. The staff were pleasant, and if we had come earlier we would have enjoyed sitting out on the balcony.

bed was ok ( felt like the mattress cover might have been bunched up in knots)so that probably could have been remedied. Two major draw backs for us were :1-the furnace was either blowing cold air in your face while trying to sleep or hot air. 2- was the loud road noice, would have been nice to have walls more sound proofed.

Staff was exceptionally friendly. We were very comfortable. Had all the comforts of home. Very powerful jacuzzi tub, don't turn it on till you're seated. Grandma wanted to use the tub so I was worried about her slipping since she's so small, and the staff found us a non-slip mat.

The coffee maker sucked, but fortunately we don't drink much coffee. Be careful what you put in the washer. I ended up with holes in my joggers. I wasn't going to wash them. It was my husband's fault. I would just put towels in, or bring a bag to put your clothes in so they don't get destroyed.

Loved the lay out of the 1 bedroom, the kitchen and water and dryer was unexpected and a nice surprise. Very clean throughout the facility. Oh and a salt water pool! Loved the jet tub onced I fixed it.

They appear to have an excessive amount of COVID restrictions. I'm all for safety but it was a bit much. Grab and go breakfast was a touch annoying. I'm just so used to a hot continental breakfast. No house keeping so I had to keep asking the things that I needed. No maintenance either, so I had to fix my own jet tub, which is fine I'm a handy person, and I didn't want to change rooms because that's more of a hassle. No smoking section, so if your a smoker you have to go to the road and get all wet. The pool is salt water which is really cool, but it was freezing! Overall it's a nice hotel, I do think it's a tad over priced for what you get, and the amount of work you end up doing your self.

We've stayed there for several years while at an annual conference, and they have taken several steps to improve the comfort of the common spaces while providing rooms with all that could be needed for a beach stay. The breakfast is very simple, but does provide for the needs of people like my wife who are gluten and dairy free with GF bagels and almond milk.

I have learned over the years and forgot this year that rooms on 1st street can have a lot of night time noise due to the street immediately adjacent. We were in a 1st Street room this year and the only real issue was the after midnight emptying of the dumpster by the trash truck. Of course, the first night I wore ear plugs because the wind was insanely strong and it was whistling through the window. Having said this away from 1st Street noise has never been an issue and neither is there an issue with noise above or below.
