Great location

It states completely renovated but it needs some additional upgrades to the room we were in.

The staff was so helpful and kind. They made special accommodations for me and supplied me with everything I needed to be comfortable. There's also a little convenience store on the property with friendly workers there also. I had to stay here for 2 weeks while waiting for an apartment to be ready and it really did become like home. Very reasonable pricing for the amount of time that I had to be there.

Unfortunately there is no breakfast at this hotel but they do provide you with a full size fridge, a coffee pot, and a microwave so it wasn't hard to stay here for an extended amount of time. They also have grilles that people can use so there's that option too. Also there was some occasional visitors that were unpleasant staying at the hotel. There was some yelling and banging on doors the first morning I was here. Some people just aren't considerate of others and they're loud in whatever they do, no matter the hour. Some would smoke in the rooms causing my room to smell even though the rooms are non-smoking. I think they need more staff to be able to enforce that rule and to manage situations like the one that happened the first day I was here.

Loved the room and location. Staff was very nice. Beds were very comfortable and room was very clean.

Was not mentioned that there was no elevator when booking and our room was on the 3rd floor. I am a senior so toting luggage up 3 floors was not an option for me. I just went back to the car when I needed something. When checking in we were told we could only have one parking space. My sister was coming from NC and me from FL. I spoke to the front desk before we came to make sure we could leave our cars there if we arrived before check in time and was told no problem. I told them this and they did allow the 2 parking spaces thankfully.

It was clean, great view of the beach

The location was great - right on the ocean in Garden City. The hotel is an older one from the 1960s, it seems but it was comfortable and serviceable. The room was clean and the bathroom was fine. This is not a fancy hotel, but that was fine with us. We wanted a clean place right on the beach for a reasonable price. The staff was friendly and helpful. The parking lot was great for our van, which is tall and does not fit into parking garages most of the time. So we were very happy with the parking. The hotel was located near restaurants and shops. We walked down to the pier and enjoyed some karaoke and beer in the afternoon. The pool seemed good but we did not use it. The beach was right there, with beautiful views from the balcony of the room. We carried our luggage up to the third floor so if this is hard for you to do, this may not be the place for you. But overall, we were very happy with the place and would stay there again.

We did not have a problem with anything at the hotel, really. The place is older and might need updating, but that is not important to us and was not a problem for us. Overall, we were happy with our stay.

oceanfront, enough parking, nice pool

i wish other guests would take care of things like the grill and chairs as if it were theirs.

The staff was pleasant and very nice. They gave us extra towels when needed, and they left out a cart to refill your own coffee, TP, soaps, etc. Rooms on the bottom floor were a walk through to the pool/beach. Location was excellent, and the price made it great! Plus, we were able to bring our family dog! Great place, and staff.

The rooms need a little updating, but we didn't book here to stay in the room all day. Rooms should get a thorough cleaning at least once a month (pull out sofa was filthy). The bathroom door in our room was misaligned, and the hinges were not fully connected, so the door didn't open/close easy, and could not lock.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Ocean front room with balcony, large pool area and right on the beach. Best of all, the Inn has it's own quick mart open to the public that opens early and closes late, fully stocked for small store and very convenient, saving you having to drive for ice, food, snacks, coffee and numerous other items. Very nice experience!

To be honest, there was nothing I did not like.

The location of the property is perfect for us. the view from the room of the ocean was spectacular. Our Favorite! The balconies have two chairs and a little table. The rooms have a nice area to hang your clothes with wooden hangers. A refrigerator with freezer, a coffee maker and hairdryer. A little table and two chairs. They have a very nice pool and grill and pergola with comfortable seats and table to play some games. Nice chairs poolside too. very clean. Great value and pet friendly. staff are always welcoming with smiles. Lunchbox was a pleasure during checkin. We will be returning. we have stayed here 4 times now and look forward to our fifth. Free parking with pass during your stay. never an issue. they have doggie clean up baggies and waste disposal for your pup. This may not be the fancy shmancy accommodations but it is comfortable and clean. there is a convenient sand rinse off and portable potty right as you come off the beach access. There is a quaint mini mart attached to hotel. Accommodations are comfortable and clean and the shower is awesome! No elevator at property, but it is only 4 floors.

This time on our second day there was a strong rotten egg smell outside (but hotel had nothing to do with that). if you were at the beach, you did not smell it. No elevator but only 4 floors. would like a microwave added to rooms but not a negative for us. We don’t have a negative.

The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We didn’t ask for mains to come in because of the little dog we had. He was old and sometimes will just stand at the door so we left our dirty towels outside and the maid service was always around to give us clean ones. I had two older ladies with me and the lady working the front desk got a guy to help bring up their belongings . I wish I had seen him before I left I was going to give him a tip, he was so very nice. All of the staff was nice and very helpful if we had questions. Hope to return and stay again soon .
