Room was very good. Bed was comfortable, towels were plentiful and the location was perfect. We were going to be in the hotel for less than 12 hours, so I was looking for something inexpensive. I'd stay here again! Front desk staff was friendly and welcoming.

I wish there were at least hard boiled eggs at breakfast. Lots of carbs, bread, muffins, waffles -- just need a little protein to start my day! Otherwise, I enjoyed the property.

The neighborhood around the hotel was bad. We actually watched people selling drugs at the neighboring motel selling drugs in their parking lot.

The beds were not so comfy. They could have more selection for breakfast. The dryer doesn’t dry too well had to place clothes on 2 times so more money

I would have preferred an ocean view. For the price, it would be better to replace the bathtub handrail, the ability to close the curtain to block the blinding parking lot lights or place a window shade and make sure the sheer window curtains are clean. I noticed what was either a dried blood stain or mucus.

I did receive a room with a view of the water. It was a little farther back than I expected and the condo on the left blocked the sunrise and there's a hotel on the right but you do get a straight ahead view of the water and your own private balcony but you have to choose the room with the ocean view. The covered area by the front door and the parking lot are what you see first from the balcony. the water is beyond that but for the price it was nice. I could look over and see the water while sitting in my bed. I did like the little table with two chairs in the room. There's a side door you can go in that leads to the elevator. You can park there

Three waffle makers were nice but there was no other cooked food like eggs, potatoes, meat. Just the usual bread for toast, muffins, cereal.

The staff - they were very nice and accommodating, going above and beyond. Especially the nice lady receptionist who was on duty in the night of our arrival. And the nice lady who was taking care of breakfast in the morning. The beds - big and comfortable. :) And the bathroom - I really liked the size, so it doesn't feel like I'm in a shoe box and can't even turn around. This one was nice and spacious. The location was really nice.

The place could use some freshening up - the wall paint is chipping here and there, there's some mould in the bathtub and it overall just feels a little run down.

When looking for a hotel for our get away day it was important that the place was as clean as possible due to us having our 4 month old with us. It was very much to my standard. Comfy pillows the bed was fair, I personally like soft and puffy bedtops. I have a pillow top at home, but everyone has their own preference. Can't complain. It was a clean shower as well which was important because my baby and I showered. Loved the stay.

My only thing I would say needs attention is the time frame for breakfast. Not everyone wakes up early. Maybe extend the breakfast time til 10am, at least.

Good value for the rate. Not on the Seawall, but a block from the Seawall. Clean, comfortable room. Nice little balcony. It overlooked the parking lot and 61st St., but it was still nice to sit outside and watch the sunrise.

The pool was a little murky.

This was not our first stay at this facility. We always book 2 rooms as we stay in Galveston with friends and/or family. We are pleased with property, rooms, and location. The breakfast is the least of the facility, very basic and limited.

As stated above the only thing that was lacking was the breakfast. We watched guests carting off plates full of mini muffins mini cinnamon rolls and apples. Again, breakfast is very limited fruit is apples only. Hot items limited to a waffle. Not even a bagel with cream cheese. And the mini items just means people have to take more of them.

Well I really wish the breakfast had eggs. We just stayed 10 days in S.Padre at LaCopa and I guess we.were spoiled there, plus our daily stay there, right by the ocean was $85 a day. AT Baynont it was $110 before taxes. There they made omelets at your command, or breakfast tacos were available, had those too. Oh so much, a couple kinds of scrambled eggs, refried beans, potatoes, STRAWBERRY waffles with whipped cream, many fruits, 3 juices, bagles and toast, yogurt, and more. Now we have stayed at places, one just on the way down that was $85 and that had a breakfast like yours, but was $25 a night cheaper. However at LaCopa for $85 I just told you their amazing breakfast.
