Room was a tad small for our 5 day stay, but was such a beautiful room. The balcony was shared with 3 other rooms, but overlooked the Riverwalk and was such a pleasure to set on and watch the hustle and bustle below. The bed was absolutely AMAZING. We aren't late sleepers, but caught ourselves many mornings sleeping in a tad later than normal because the bed was soooo wonderful. Shower was excellent. Location was great depending on your plans while there, literally walk out the back door of the hotel onto the Riverwalk, but if you wanted to venture outside of the Riverwalk, it took a bit more time & probably best to travel by car. Staff were great, everyone didn't want you to lift a finger while there. Some of the most helpful & precious people.

Seriously don't have much of anything to say that I disliked. I will really be reaching to come up with anything. I guess my only complaint would be that parking on location was a bit expensive, but it was valet only. We opted to park in a parking garage across the street which wasn't bad at all. Deposit hold for each night is also a bit pricey, but they are a hotel that encourages "charging to your room" and any thing you decide to charge will come out of each nights deposit.

Location and friendliness of staff. Valet staff especially. Gave us advice on where to go and always making sure my family was enjoying our trip.

The bathroom shower head had hair wrapped all over it. Very disgusting. It wasn't just a strand neither it was ALOT. Told us showers were not cleaned proper and if showers aren't what else isn't that we didn't see??? The fire alarm went off and we was escorted off premises. Which I can't say is a bad thing. Very glad they work. That's not something the hotel could control and is a safety measure. We was told everything was fine and never heard anything about it. False alarm I guess.

We had breakfast at the sister location and it was good. My son was determined to have a waffle and though it wasn’t on the menu for brunch that day they were accommodating and made him one. It was nice and quiet, the staff were friendly and helpful. Frequented the bar while at the pool which was very nice and they played a movie for the kids on the back wall one night which was very cute. We were able to watch it from our balcony. A mariachi band came and played in the afternoon by the pool one day as well, which we were also able to enjoy from our balcony. Overall very pleasant stay.

Valet is a bit expensive but I do expect that at the pricier hotels but they handled our car well and made sure it was fully charged at all times ( we had an EV) and it’s a historic building so the rooms are a bit on the small side and the hallway and elevator have a little bit of an “old” smell. Amenities such as the gym and spa are actually at the sister location across the river. It’s very short walk but was a bit awkward to have to walk through a different hotel to use. And the hot tub is gender segregated which some might prefer but when my husband and I wanted to go to sit in the hot tub together that was a disappointment.

Wonderful staff! We had a few issues, but they were taken care of IMMEDIATELY. Everyone is very friendly and very helpful! Room was comfortable and the hotel is in a great location.

We paid extra for a room with a balcony and a view of the river. But what we were not told is that the room has a shared balcony with 2 other rooms. I wish it would specify this when making the reservation on Booking.com, whether the balcony is private or not.

the location can't be beat. We never had to use our car. Everything we could walk to. Beautiful location. We loved the staff. Excellent attitude from most of the employees, I used to be in the hospitality business so them remembering our names and being so attentive stands out in a world of bad attitudes and rudeness it was very refreshing to have people engage in small talk and niceties, That alone.... made our stay remarkable and will bring us back next time. We will come back every year to this exact hotel because of the staff.

The bed was uncomfortable, that surprised me because I expected it to be more luxurious. The toiletries were not a standout, I would expect to find the same brands in a lower scaled hotel. I suppose I would have liked to see Crabtree & Evelyn at least. Nevertheless, it was not enough that I would not return. I will bring my own favorites to use. The bed, however, needs help. Again, it's not enough to keep me away. I think microwaves would be something that should be in the rooms, although, they brought one for us to use. I like eating my leftovers from meals that I couldn't finish.

Front desk was super friendly. She even remembered my name on the second day which was super nice. The facilities were nice and it was fun to explore the hotel and sister hotel.

The valet “lost” my keys because they were under my last name and he was searching for my first name. I told him I could see them from the counter and he let me walk behind the counter to grab them. I could have grabbed anyone’s keys! They did not ask for any room key or the paper to see to verify.

Location on the riverwalk. The history. And the Staff! Special Thanks to Anthony! He is a man of his word. A great value! Also Ms Webber was fantastic! She took care of everything we asked for. Two great employees!

A small thing. In Room 424 late at night we could hear what sounded like water running through a pipe. Sometimes it would stop about an hour and start up again. I'm pretty sure it was not AirCond but just enough it was noticeable.

Loved the location and the balcony over the river. The staff was lovely, sending up cupcakes for my granddaughter’s birthday. The hotel has character, unlike so many bland, generica places.

The coffee shop offerings were quite limited; the breakfast tacos were gone by 9:30 and the banana nut muffin was sturdy. Coffee was okay. I’m just a dark roast fan. Bed was great, but couldn’t quite get the pillows comfy. Parking is pricy. None of this keeps it from being a great place to stay.

The hotel is clean and everyone is friendly, helpful. They go above and beyond to help

Room was too close to valet, so I heard beeping of vehicle backing up inside my room early. It may have been some kind of food delivery I will not be going to restaurants again. Did not understand why I couldn't just eat there anonymously without giving a name or room number. "For the table" said four brothers restaurant. In my opinion, the table does not need my name as it has one of its own. So I left
