There were 4 of us in two rooms, and the property put us on the first floor in rooms right next door to each other, which was great. Having a small refrigerator and microwave in each room is a bonus feature that I always look for when I'm booking a road trip, so we can economize by bringing our own food on the trip. I loved the "Old West" look of the rooms, and the restaurant there was very convenient with a varied menu. It's nice that the "sister" hotel across the street allows guests at the Big Horn Lodge to use their indoor jacuzzi, too!

There really was nothing I didn't like, but I have a couple of suggestions. First, it would be helpful to have more openings in the wall between the rooms and the parking lot, since many travelers have lots of gear they're loading/unloading from their cars. The second is that it would have been helpful to have had either a second nightstand with its own lamp in rooms with two queen beds, since I read in bed and using the middle lamp on the one nightstand would have disturbed my sister who was in the other bed. But I would definitely stay here again, as the location and accommodations were really great.

Location were easy to find, room are clean, bed our comnfortable, staff at the desk was very nice, all the things that you need on the room or instruction were everywhere (which is good for me/my kids). The pole has a lot of falling leaves like it was not clean but since we want to dive in my son clean it or remove those leaves (it's windy at times) they have available towel and when your done just out them on the dirty basket which is very organized. You coud safely stroll around the area. We dine in at Sussies branding iron, moab grill and Jailhouse caffee. Highly recommended the place.

The only thing I don't like they have a power outrage like the whole town from 10:30pm to 3:30am. My kids and I could not sleep, it was too hot in the room. Can't open the window coz we are not familiar with the area. I just can't believe they don't have a generator to use. It was crazy and you could not stay outside coz it's hot too. Above us were keep walking maybe due to heat as well. Yes It's unexpecgted but I hope it did not take that long. That was the downside.

The Bighorn Lodge is reasonably priced and offers fairly large rooms with everything you need for a comfortable stay. I really liked the fact that all the shopping and restaurants in Moab are within walking distance. Really friendly and professional staff, too. My room was very clean and well maintained.

Like most of the hotels in Moab, this one is right on the highway, so you'll have to contend with road noise. Thankfully, things quiet down at night, but as a reminder, the highway is a major truck route and can get very busy.

We liked its rustic charm and convenient location. Clean, friendly staff. Having a table and 2 chairs in the room was perfect for having meals in the room. A good sized counter top in the sink area was appreciated. We stayed 3 nights at this property. Reasonably priced hotel in the area where most are fairly expensive.

There weren’t any king rooms available. Needed another night side table and definitely more plugs at the bedside. Thank goodness we carry an extension cord to use breathing machines while sleeping. If you are a light sleeper being ear plugs as the traffic noise can be quite bothersome at night.

The lodge was a good place to stay. It was nice to stay in a room right next to the family we were traveling with. The beds were comfortable and there was an abundance of towels and coffee. The staff was also very friendly.

The room smelled like moth balls when we arrived. It was hard to tolerate so we opened the door, turned on air conditioner and fan. It improved but lingered throughout our stay. Second, the pool was very cold. Our son was shivering when he was in it in the middle of the day.

Out of our 8 day honeymoon trip. This is where I got my best sleep. Rooms were clean and comfortable staff was very friendly as well as everyone we met in town . The town was clean.... We honestly pulled into town thinking it was just going to be a fun quick little plip on the radar for our 8 day honeymoon trip. However it actually ended up being mine and my wife's favorite place we stayed... I honestly wouldn't mind living there.

Clean comfortable room, with all amenities.

Stayed four nights, room was not serviced at all during this period which wasn’t a problem, but if you require anything such as, bathroom tissue, towels or coffee pods for the in room coffee maker, you had to ask at the front desk. Which was a little embarrassing, especially if you require toilet tissue, and there are people checking in. When the staff are along the corridor with trolleys cleaning vacated rooms , could they not just enter occupied rooms and check and see if replenishments are required ?

My room at The Big Horn Lodge was charming with a rustic feeling, decorated with Western art and knotty pine walls, complete with all of the necessities for a restful, overnight stay. The restaurant attached to the lodge was also handy for a quick breakfast before hitting the road. It was also very well situated in town so we were close to shopping and restaurants.

The restaurant breakfast menu was limited and I paid twice as much as I normally would for breakfast to get what I wanted, which essentially equated to having to order two entrees.

Nice room, awesome activity area with pool, hot tub, foosball and pool tables, TV and lots of movies. Owners very friendly and helpful. Had a problem with our vehicle and they let us use their phone when ours had no signal. Breakfast was ordered off a menu and served at time you requested.

Bed was a little hard. No phone, TV or air conditioning in room (had a ceiling fan). Drive in was about 1 1/2 miles on a dirt road. Restaurants were 20 mins away.

May 2023

We rented a room for 4 nights the first week of May. Room was clean, comfortable beds and pillows. Had a microwave, small fridge and decent tv. We had the 1st floor room by the pool which wasn't an issue being off season. Being a dog friendly hotel was a big reason we booked. Having a restaurant right next door was nice for a quick breakfast before heading out. Moab has lots of places to eat and stores to shop at. Arches National Park was less than 15 minutes away.

Parking after we got back at night was an issue. I can't imagine if it was the busy summer season. Moab is a busy town so if you like it more peaceful you might want to book somewhere outside of town. We brought our dog and the area out back for them to poddy was an alley way with very little grassy area.
