Location was excellent. I didn’t use the breakfast facilities. I particularly like the bathroom/shower as the bath had multiple grab rails & a non slip base. I am by no means infirm or old but people of all ages appreciate safe shower facilities. The bathroom was always cleaned to perfection.

I think every hotel should include a folder in the room outlining how to use things like the TV or shower or air conditioning, or nearby attractions. I found the shower took me a while to work out how to turn it on. The TV was simple and worked first time, air con I didn’t use much. You would be surprised how many hotels I stay at where the simplest things like turning on the TV turns into a nightmare of multiple tuning boxes and remotes.

The location is amazing. We walked to all of the local attractions other than the zoo (ubered there) the rooms were wonderful and clean, the pool was beautiful.

The resturants were the only downside. The dinner one wasn't bad but I felt like they were trying to be much fancier then they were and really should have been. There were not many close diner options (espcially on the weekend) so we just wanted something basic, quick, fair priced and tasty. It was expensive, slow, intricate but rather bland. Breakfast i would say was bad. The food was not cooked well, it was all very greasy, small selection (which was surprising for how big the area was) and just didn't taste good. We ended up eating at mcdonalds down the block most mornings for breakfast

We loved the location! It was close enough to walk to everything at the National Mall, monuments and museums. We checked in after a day of walking DC in the 90+ degree heat, and it was such a smooth process to check in and get our room. The room was clean and comfortable, and the ability to control our AC was amazing after such a long, hot day. The hotel has a lot of features, including an on-site Starbucks, 2 restaurants and a game are! They also have a rooftop pool and bar, but we unfortunately didn't make it up there before they closed. I will definitely be staying here again when I visit DC in the future!

The only thing that could have been better was the service at the hotel's lunch and dinner restaurant, 21st Amendment Bar & Grill. The restaurant was definitely understaffed, and we were a very understanding group (3 of us, 2 are former servers). However, the service was extremely slow, some of our food came out cold, drinks were not made right, and when I paid in cash, I didn't receive any change. After speaking with the manager though, he completely refunded our meal and asked if we would like any breakfast coupons and genuinely did what he could to make the situation right. I think that with more (better trained) staff, the restaurant would be excellent!

The buffet breakfast was a favorite of the kids, and we all enjoyed dinner at the 21st Amendment bar and grill. The location was amazing, super close to the Air and Space Museum and about a mile walk from the Washington monument along the National Mall. The staff were kind and helpful, and the beds were comfortable.

The room had an outlet and light next to one of the beds that didn’t work, and the air conditioner was rattling pretty loudly. The bathroom didn’t have a fan, but none of this would stop us from staying there again.

Rooms were very clean. The receptionist was very nice and knowledgeable about the city. I really liked that I could see the capital building from my room. The location was also great for all the museums we were seeing on this trip.

The food was horrible. We tried the breakfast and the dinner just in case it was just a fluke. Not worth 20 dollars a person. Also got kicked out of the pool at 7 when it closes at 9. They said for chemicals. They just opened the pool for the season on Friday, and we were swimming on Sunday night. Make it, make sense.

Close to all attractions and train Ricky the concierge was absolutely great, helping getting us a tour that picked us up at the hotel and dropped us off. Gave us information on other things to do, as well. Store by the side of check in counter had things we needed! Staff was friendly everywhere we went

When we took showers the first morning the shower was loose and did not turn on all the way.. We did call down to the front desk and someone came up to put in a new unit within 20 min, which was impressive. Having to pay to park staying at the hotel..

The location was perfect and really close to pretty much everything we wanted to see. We walked everywhere without any problems and really only needed to get a ride to/from the airport. The staff was beyond amazing. Everyone was very helpful and extremely friendly. The restaurant was very good and had a wide variety of foods.

The price was very high for a Tuesday night stay and our room was literally so close the train I felt as if I could almost reach out and touch it. Although the room we stayed in was quite large and the beds were very comfortable, the room itself definitely needed some updating for the price charged per night.

The location is excellent if you are going to DC to tour the museums and monuments. The hotel is only about a block from the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. After you tour that, you can get a ticket for the Hop on Hop off Bus right in front, and that will take you to all the nearby attractions, including Arlington. The restaurants and bar inside the hotel were great dining choices as was the in-house full sized Starbucks. They have a small commissary store that holds an excellent selection of snacks and toiletries. The staff was extremely kind and accommodating by providing a microwave for our room at no extra cost. The rooms were cleaned and tidied up each day. Overall - great stay.

The TV in our room - 407 - did not work correctly. We really only tried to watch TV a couple of times during our week stay but the volume control on the remote was not working correctly to where one channel would sound fine and the very next would be either incredibly loud or whisper silent. Also, several of the channels had distorted picture/sound quality.

Didn’t eat breakfast. Next door guests with children were very loud. What was disturbing was that someone tried entering our room not only once but twice. The first time a man actually walked into our room and told my grandson, who had flown off the bed in fright that “he thought it was his room.” The next morning someone was turning the outside door knob. Thank goodness the door was double locked. If it was housekeeping I would think it would have been announced. This happened around 9 a.m.

The low toilet. It needs to be 19” so adults can get off of it.

The location is within walking distance of the The Wharf, museums, and the Washington Monuments—plenty of great food options and entertainment. We weren't aware when we booked, but the capitol building is in sight of the rooftop pool. The host made us aware when we checked in. Really cool!

Street parking appears to be free on the weekends. Next time we'll be sure to try for a space near the hotel rather than pay the additional fee. The garage was very cramped due to various activities in the area. While the parking was only around $50 for the garage, it was pretty clear that many people do not care about other's property. The spaces were tight and we had to squeeze into a space. Not really the fault of the hotel, but maybe a valet could be added.
