Clean, quiet, easy to check in.

I was due to check out at 11 AM. I stopped by the desk at 8 AM and asked about a late check out. It wouldn't work out, so I paid for the room for another day. She asked what time I was going to leave and I said 6pm. I'm a night shift nurse and I was sleeping there during the day. As I had been the prior two days. So when I leave to go, the desk contacts me in my car. I need to come back and sign for a late check out. They said they both heard the morning person tell them I was informed of this. So they could add charges. I told them that I had paid again for the room that morning for 11-6 pm. 7 hours and paid full price. Eventually they phone back and said they had talked to management about this and had found a solution. THE SOLUTION WAS I HAD ALREADY PAID FOR THE ROOM.

The room was very clean and no bed bugs. The shower was good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I like I could print what I needed to for my work away from home. I like I could set the temperature in my room that was comfortable for me. I like I had the option to make some tea and hot chocolate.

The breakfast could have been a little better. I like my eggs done well and I do not like sausage. I wish crispy bacon was an option too. That being said I did have some of the eggs and some oatmeal, a banana and a bagel, therefore it was an adequate breakfast.

Location. It’s within easy driving distance to both Universities. Right across the street from the beautiful Mississippi River. Free hot breakfast was really good! Family restaurant shares the parking lot as well. Pool and hot tub are large, and clean. Fire pit patio was nice in the evening. Welcoming staff. Clean, comfortable rooms.

Only thing that I noticed was that the rooms aren’t very sound proof, at all. Luckily the families around me weren’t up and about all night. Had there been a “rowdier” group, it would’ve been disruptive.

We liked that there were hot eggs and sausage available for breakfast as well as yogurt, fruit, milk and coffee. We misunderstood our online booking. We thought we would have 2 rooms each with 2 queen beds due to the wording in booking.com. Instead, we had 2 rooms for a total of 2 queen beds. For the 2 parties using one of the rooms, they needed to have separate beds in the room. The hotel quickly changed them to a room with 2 queen beds for an additional charge of $15 which they did not mind. They were very happy the hotel made the change with no hassle!

Not much room to sit in the breakfast room. It was crowded. Pool area is viewable from outside and lounge area. I'm a woman & didn't like men being able to watch me walking in my swim suit.

The gal at the desk was wonderful and moved us to a ant free room immediately. Breakfast was good. Nice variety, food was hot. Workers came in and stirred gravey and replenished items. They were very conscientious and cleaned up people's messes. The pool area was very nice and we went swimming.

The 1st room had a dozen ants crawling on the desktop, the light alongside the bed didn't work and the room smelt musty. Probably had not been opened up in awhile. The desk clerk suggested and then moved us immediately. We just told her about the ants. She showed us the room we would move to and throughly checked it over.

I've always liked this hotel. The rooms are clean, beds comfortable. Check in was easy and the clerk was super nice. It was also appreciated by us that the hotel had a basket of towels for motorcycles. It had rained and we needed to wipe the bikes down and the idea was a fantastic one. Wish more places did that!

That we couldn't stay longer! It was just for an overnight but I'll make it a point to stay here when I'm in the area again.

This is great basic accommodations. The room was nothing fancy, but met all our needs. It was quiet and clean. The breakfast was a good, typical, chain hotel breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits/gravy and waffles. There was also a fridge and coffee maker in the room. The bed was comfortable.

The breakfast was good, except the English muffin I took was very dry (stale) & remained hard when toasted. If I hadn’t picked it up, I never would have kept or toasted it. The rest was good. The bed was very comfortable, the pillows good, and it was nice & quiet. Very clean.

Just the stale English muffin. The location was a bit out of the way, but fine—just far from the things we did.

We weren’t there very long, just overnight. Check in was quick and easy, room was very comfortable and breakfast in the morning was good.

All positive. Our daughter goes to school at UW LaCrosse. Have stayed at this property a few times, always a positive experience.

Linens were good quality and comfy. It was decorated nicely. Fan in bathroom actually worked well. Had both fridge and microwave.

The pillows are not big enough to be comfortable. Their existing pillows are relatively new, but they are only half the size of a king size pillow. You need to get some good quality king pillows for the king bed.
