I've stayed here before and came back as I like the location and quiet/treed surroundings - close to Minor metro, one stop or walkable to Japanese Garden and riverside walks. Plenty of shops, a supermarket and cafes around. Set in a residential area just back from main roads, so easy to get Yandex or shop etc but quiet= no street noise or clubs etc to disturb. Decent length long desk in room, otherwise simple, not flash new but with openable window, kettle (no fridge) and decent bathroom. I like seeing trees out of the window. Breakfast is varied. Balconies at the end of the corridor for smokers.

Not a problem for me, but if you have trouble with stairs, there are stairs from street level to reception (or a rather small steep ramp) and no lift in the building. Would be good to have a fridge in the room. One night I could hear some noisy late arrival guests upstairs but I think they were extra loud humans, as all other everything was quiet. It isn't on the airport or rail side of town so can take about 30 mins in Yandex taxi.

Though close to a main road, the hotel is set back behind apartment blocks so it's quiet and rooms look out onto trees. Metro stop, food options, shops, supermarket and mini market a few minutes walk. I enjoyed daily walks along the nearby river/Japanese Garden, through the old cemetery etc. Bed comfortable (not too hard), adequate storage space. Decent light blocking curtains. Long desk/table in the room so could work on laptop. Some reviews have mentioned electrical sockets only being above the beds; there are some above the desk (you can unplug the TV.) Breakfast was adequate -eggs, breads, savouries, cooked and salad veggies, coffee/tea (and cakes -breakfast fare in these parts :). Kettle provided on request (though no fridge in room) and a hot/cold water dispenser in the hall for refilling bottles, or tea, if you don't want a kettle in your own room. Balcony at the end of the hallway for smokers. Reception 24hrs were always pleasant, spoke adequate English.

None of these things were deal breakers for me but others might want to be aware of: The heater in my room was rather temperamental. There's no lift. The (twin)room might have been rather small for 2 people and the beds are very close together, no bedside table. Lighting is bright/overhead, no lamps or subtle lights. No fridge in room. Floor is carpeted. There was no 'do not disturb' sign for the door. Maybe one is available at reception?

Breakfast, staff, location were good. Room and linens were clean. Good view from room. Drinking water dispensers in every floor. Room to keep luggage after check out. We came back at 8pm to collect luggage. There was sofas in reception area to spend some time and wash room was available.

G map location misleads to another side of the hotel from where there is no access. During first arrival and next few occasions we had trouble to locate the entrance of the hotel. Taking luggage to 2nd floor through stair case is difficult. We faced this problem in all the five hotels of Uzbekistan.

Spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast and helpful staff. Great value for money as it is in a great central location and it is among the cheapest in the area. Laundry available very cheaply as well.

Default pillows are very thick, but they provided thinner ones upon request. The power sockets are in between twin beds, but fall just behind your head if you are sleeping in a double bed (a bit uncomfortable). The other power socket is behind the TV, with difficult access.

It was close to a metro and restaurants and shops. The room was a good size with good air con and WiFi. The lady on reception was nice and very helpful and the cleaning lady was very sweet and friendly. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice.

The man on reception at check out issued our registration forms incorrectly and although we had given plenty of notice we had to wait over 20 minutes for a taxi and in the end he had to flag one down for us and told the driver to go to the wrong destination, meaning we nearly missed our train.

The hotel is conveniently located. Minor metro station is just walking distance. Just cross the crossroads. On the other side of the street you can find restaurants, local fast food chains and a grocery store. The staff members were nice and in particular I would like to say thanks to Farangiz...the receptionist who patiently gave me all the info I was in need of about how to get to certain places of interest in town.

The hotel is located in a small street, not directly facing the main road, which make it very quiet. The metro station "MINOR" is only 5mn by walk. You can find falicities close to the hotel, as mini market, restaurants. It's pretty well located. If you walk after the metro station, you can find western brand and restaurant. The hotel location is convenient. We had a night trip, we arrived very early in the morning around 7am very tired. The reception man manage to find us a room so we could get some rest, he was very helpful and friendly.

The location is very good, as it is close from the Metro station "Minor" that gets you everywhere fast. It is mid-way between the center of the city (statue of Amir Timur) and the northern attractions (TV Tower, plov center). The personnel is available and ready to help. The room was clean. Would recommend this hotel

We asked for 2 separate beds, but when we arrived we got a room with only 1 double bed. We had to ask the personnel to change the room, which took 15 extra minutes and is a bit annoying when you're arriving from a long travel. Also, the flow of water from the shower is a bit small. Other than that there was no problem in the room.

Great location, near to Minor Metro station, plenty of restaurants, cafes, banks etc nearby. Quiet location. Room and bathroom were large and clean. Breakfast Ok

No bedside lights, only a main light switch by the entrance door. Only power socket was in the middle of the bed, so if you wanted to charge anything its was all over the bed. No housekeeping during stay, water not replenished etc

The location is pretty central but still quiet. The rooms are clean, spacious, and bright. Comfy bed with good mattress and fresh bedding. The bathroom is clean, with four fresh towels and a travel kit. Bottled water in every room, and a water fountain on the floor. Very good breakfast with a variety of fruits and veggies for a vegan one. The staff is very supportive and responsive! They helped us a lot with an early check-in!

It would be great to have a good coffee (a non-instant one) for breakfast. The noise canceling in the rooms is very bad. It was extremely hot in the room, but after switching the heating off, the temperature became normal.
