You need to open the front door of the hotel and move beyond the reception to witness its grandeur. It has an enchanting alley that takes you from a regular reception area to a beautiful courtyard on your way to the rooms. A quaint little elevator with stained glass interiors took us to our room on the second level. We enjoyed our stay, thanks to Azamat on their front desk.

The hotel is not in the centre of the happening places in the city. You would need a cab to take you to the different places. The lane outside the hotel seems lonely in the evening.

Hotel style and design is amazing. Breakfast is very nice, live music is amasing feature. Room is huge, especially living room. Bathroom and bed. Two swimming pools are comfortable to experience. Personnel is very helpful. Location is almost perfect, meaning the quite developped infra of neighborhood, but still you're away about 250 meters from park or Rustaveli street inside quarters.

Few small things. Large territory means not only calmliness and comfort, but you have to go reach restaurant through the open air, so your conviniens is sligtly depend on weather outside. The sofa in the room demands cleaning. The bath (jacuzzi) wasn't clean enough to tale it. Lamps inside the room have different type and color temperature.

We would rate our stay as *****. In order to get an authentic Uzbek flavor, we chose the hotel and with no suprise it was upto the expectation. Live music with grand breakfast gets served, light music is a cherry on the cake while having breakfast :-) All the staff are very helpful and in anytime of the day or night. Nozim, Parveen and Khnodamir whom we had interacted with at the front desk were at their BEST in helping us for our day planning, THANK YOU GUYS for your kindness and generosity.

A little away from the center and closest metro, with a kid is not walkable. Taxi is always required to commute. Property should keep umbrella's for guests in case required.

This is a five-star quality hotel. The room was immaculate, the indoor and outdoor pools are beautiful, and the breakfast is lovely. The restaurant is also nice with reasonable prices (for a hotel restaurant) if you want to stay at the hotel for lunch or dinner. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was the most spacious and luxurious I have ever stayed in at this price range. Importantly, the hotel is also less than a ten-minute drive from the airport, which is great when you are arriving and departing.

It was fine for me because taxis are so cheap in Tashkent, but be aware that the location is not ideal for sightseers who want to explore the main tourist attractions. The hotel isn't close to the main attractions and the nearest metro station is a 30-minute walk.

Not only that this property ticked all the boxes but also the staff was absolutely amazing - ten out ten in all aspects: 1- my flight arrived in early hours of morning. I turned up at the property to drop off the bags knowing that no hotel would give a 6:00am check-in. But how wrong was I - they reception staff took me to breakfast room at 06:15hrs have breakfast that too on the house while my room was being prepared. And at 7:00am I was in the room - simply amazing service. 2 - the breakfast was great with a variety foods. 3- location is amazing, quite close to the airport yet not that far from the city.

Ichan Qal’a is a great place to stay in Tashkent. The hotel went above and beyond my expectations. The rooms are larger than average, the ceilings are 10+ ft, lots of nice perks like a bubble bath. The hotel sits on 20+ acres, there is plenty of private space. The staff is super friendly and courteous, they were very kind to my elderly parents whom i travelled with. Breakfast is up to standard, with coffee to go and good selection or local food. It was a very nice experience - thank you Ichan Q’ala staff and management! 10/10!

I initially made a reservation for a one-night stay at this hotel, but I later extended it to four nights. This is an ideally located boutique hotel, and its decor resembles an art gallery. The breakfast is exceptional, accompanied by a live performance of traditional music. The staff demonstrated exceptional friendliness and willingness to assist. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will undoubtedly return in the near future. The rooms and beds are comfortable, and the indoor and outdoor swimming pools were remarkable.

Converted from the compound of some ganglord from years gone by, this place is quite an experience! Beautifully fronted hotel, gorgeous room - possibly the nicest I have ever stayed in. This was a step up from the kind of places I usually hit, but I thought it might be worth it for our one night in Tashkent. I was right. It was VERY MUCH worth it. The four-poster bed in the suite - and the huge bathroom - were great fun. It isn't quite like staying at the Hilton or The Savoy or the like, but for a few more quid than your average mid-price place, this is definitelky worth splashing out on. The buffet breakfast was very good, the staff (like everyone in Uzbekistan) were lovely and... we took a load of photos just wandering around the hotel courtyard. Location? Hard to say. Depends what you want to be near. Caravan (the best restaurant we found in the whole city) is only a ten minute was away, as is the nearest tube station. Anything else and the staff will sort you a taxi.

If I were being picky I might say that the service in the restaurant was a bit slow. Also, the beers weren't cold. But that was a running theme in Uzbekistan. They don't seem to care all that much. In most shops the fridges aren't on, and the "colder" beers are sitting beside - rather than IN - the fridge, anyway. Such seemed to be the case here. Maybe it is different in summer. Don't know.

We stayed here 2 times during our vacation in Uzbekistan and was upgraded both times! We loved everything, the hotel design, staff, the suite, the breakfast with live music. Housekeeping was also super friendly and everywhere was very clean! We will only stay here when in Tashkent in the future! ❤️😃👍

Outdoor pool is way too cold! We really would have loved a swim but it is so freezing. 😞😞🫤 The hotel need signs so that new guests can find the gym and pool.
