Great location and lovely bungalows. Very clean.

Rooms might be a little "tatty" for a fussy customer. We found them very comfortable.

Very nice hotel located in my opinion in the best point of Cat Ba Town - just 2-3 min walking to the city center with a lots of restaurants, bars and shops, and other other hand just 10 min walking to the amazing beach. The rooms are spacious, the surrounding is quiet and green, as you aren't so close to the city center. Breakfast similar but very tasty, and the staff very kind and helpful. They have various offers for Ha Long and Lan Ha Bays Tours and they could book one of them for you, what is very convenient. They don't charge extra fee by paying by the card. I highly recommend this place as one of the best in Cat Ba Town :)

Nothing, everything was perfect

We stayed 2 nights, our room was very comfortable & clean. They turned out our room & gave us fresh towels daily. The location is just on the edge of the centre, so very handy, walking distance to all your needs & not noisy. The included breakfast was generous & good quality. Their menu was great & the meals we ordered were delicious! Prices were reasonable. Was able to book tours & transport at reception with a good selection. The day tour of Lan Ha Bay we booked with them was brilliant! The outdoor area around the pristine pool was awesome with lots of options for seating, we loved the private huts to lounge on.

Only downside was the transport we booked with them to Hanoi, it was sub-standard & uncomfortable, the worst transport we've had in a month in Vietnam. Book it somewhere else.

best location to our liking. walking distance to the beach. rooms are fairly modern and well kept. we love the food in the restaurant and used to come for lunch every time we came to Catba. Breakfast is more suited for local, but we ordered what we want out of menu (for fair charge). we will definitely stop here again!

we had a room downstairs right next to stairs, and we heard everybody going up and down it, and it was rather loud noise since the stairs are made of metal.

Just a little stroll out of the main strip overlooking a gorgeous view of the mountains, we had a private room that was very spacious and comfy. Not an overly party hostel like banana tree but still quite social with lots of things to do and food just as good as anywhere else in the area!

Sometimes the music they were playing in the main area was really good sometimes not so good

I think this is the only place in Cat Ba Town that actually has chill Island vibes to it - all others are either typical hotels no different than those in any Vietnamese city, or huge posh resorts. The rooms are spacious and clean, nothing fancy, but ok. The bar/pool area is super chill and a great place to relax.

There was no blanket/ top sheet on the bed, just something that looked like a bedcover and I usually don’t trust such covers to be washed after each guest so I felt reluctant to use it.

This place is small jungle instead big hotels.It is very lovely.The staf is very friendly.The swimingpool is good.The place is quiet.The pancake and young cook was amazing.I recomend,it is the best in Ca Bat

The breakfast is good,but very easy,missed local food rice,soup and drink-water,juice.. When there is less turist,the breakfast is smaller. In the room was humid.The TV was broked .The accomodation is not on the beach,it is by the sea.

Good location close to the town center and good price. Our room was clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful and friendly. They helped us to organize boat trip and transfer bus back to Hanoi. Breakfast a'la carte is basic but tasty.

This is Vietnam, so be prepared that sometimes you can see rats running through hotel patio, close to the swimming pool and on the streets.

The Oasis is a beautiful location. It's not just another hotel on the strip. It feels very tropical stepping onto the property. They have a very affordable restaurant with good food right there, so it is very convenient. The pool was also was wonderful on hot, humid evenings - temp was refreshing, not overly warm. The staff did whatever was necessary to make our stay a good one, even moving us twice because of issues with the rooms.

The first room we were given had water all over the floor from a faulty air conditioner and had to be moved immediately to a non-view room. The second room we were given had VERY hard beds - not just hard, but rock hard. You might as well been sleeping on the floor. We spent one night in that room and couldn't take it, so asked if they had anything more comfortable. (I've never asked to be moved because of beds before) They immediately moved us to another room and the bed was fantastic! The pool is surrounded with wood planks that are starting to rot and nails are poking up. Kind of a hazard and needs to be reworked. Also, there are very steep stairs everywhere, so it's a problem if you have mobility issues.
