The location is a walk away from Hoi An Market and the Old Quarter, which is my favorite thing about this hotel! The rroom for 3 people is way more spacious then the majority hotels that offer 3-people bedroom. Everything is clean, available and the staff is very welcoming and willing to help.

Breakfast buffet selection could be more varied. We also prefer to not have to preselect and preorder the dish we want the night before because in the morning we might feel like eating something else.

I think the main highlight of this stay is the location. It’s is located near to the ancient city, easy to travel around.

The air conditioning is not very cold.

It’s a really nice small hotel. I have to point out the cleanliness and the service. The staff did a wonderful job welcoming us and the individually for you homemade breakfast is just delicious, you order what you want the day before from a menu (also good choices for veggies, my wife had a veggie bowl, I had one of the banh mi ever) and the staff takes in a helpful and friendly way care, that you do. I totally recommend this place as it is quiet, but close to the main streets of the old town, 3 minute walk). It also good for getting dropped off or picked up by the transportation of you choice as it is not in the area, that is closed from traffic later the day. The pool is small, but a nice cool off. Glad to have it. Stay here, don’t go anywhere else, it was the best place during our trip through Vietnam.

This was one of the most personalised hotel stays we have had in Vietnam with friendly staff and brilliant location. Young was a fantastic host who was engaging, helpful and suggested activities/excursions in Hoi An which were perfect for our stay! We would strongly recommend the cooking class and coconut boat trip for experience and value for money (5*). Young also went above and beyond for us when i thought i had lost some jewellery on our arrival to Hanoi, Young immediately responded via whatsapp with support and sought to resolve this for us. Thankfully the jewellery was found. The family room was spacious, had a restful area on the balcony and the facilities were great. The shower pressure/temperature was faultless and it was ideal to have a mirror in both the bathroom and bedroom. The pre-order breakfast provided varying options, the overnight oats are delicious and offer an abundance of fresh fruits! The overall location was perfect for our stay, the ancient town is full of ambience and is accessible within a 5-10 minutes walk. We loved the short stroll and being in the heart of Hoi An but then the peaceful atmosphere Villa Soleil has to offer for a restful stay. We could not fault our time here and would stay again in the future!

The pool is based at the front of the property, however it is still a great size and has table/chairs to relax on. The choice of beaches surrounding the hotel are easily accessible also. I would not let this put you off staying here.

A small and nice boutique hotel with twelve rooms. While I was there, the place was packed non-stop with guests coming and going, so they must be doing something right. It is close to the river and touristic hub. The staff were very friendly and helpful (with shuttle arrangements, etc.). It is close to eateries, shops and street vendors, where you can buy cheap chicken and rice, among other fares. I liked the lighting in my room! So often the lights are not strong enough to read at night, but in my room, which had a nice balcony, I was spoiled for choice.

Breakfast options and range can be extended.

The staff was super nice and accommodating. The location was great, just far enough away from the night market and closer to the more quiet restaurants by the river. All the tour operators were able to find the hotel location easily. Our room was located at the rear of the building, so street noise was not an issue. There is also a great little restaurant across the street. We had the family room, so it was of good size. We most likely would stay there again. Thank you all!

I think the AC was working at it's limits, but managed to make the room comfortable during the day and perfect at night. Breakfast was ordered the night before rather than a buffet, that also wasn't a problem.

all the staffs were attentive, polite, always smiling and greeted you warmly. I remember one of the staff name, Young. The room is spacious enough for 3 of us with comfortable beds and clean bedding and balcony. they provide free bicycle to be used. There's pool in front of the villa where you can chill and relax. they gave breakfast options that suits our needs as muslim traveller. the pancake was delicious and served hot. walking distance to Hoai river where you can enjoy the lantern boat ride and walk around the ancient town. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved Jan and her husband and children. They were so attentive and caring and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our last few days in Saigon. They are a fun loving couple who work very long hours to make your visit “a place like home” The breakfast was great and a really lovely social time with other guests. There’s plenty of options to choose from. This hotel is right in the heart of of district one. It’s a busy part of town with plenty going on. Very close to good restaurants and a short trip or walk to the main market. The staff helped us navigate the area and we managed to navigate local buses. They made sure we had a really great stay.

Good location

Seemed like there was a pump like noise that continued night after night I was on top floor…. Did not complain but wore earplugs…so send some staff up to check it late ate night. In addition, I think it would be best to use plastic water bottles as complementary water. I think the glass water bottles in the room are refilled from a bigger plastic container every day and I don’t think that is totally sanitary so it would be better to have individual unopened plastic water bottles instead of the glass water bottles.

I booked this resort as our first stay in Hoi An to have an authentic experience. Nailed it! The resort is small and has a family feel. The room was very comfortable, breakfast was made to order by the chef in a very personal style, rather than the large buffets you usually expect. The pool was just gorgeous and we never had anyone else in there at the same time. To be floating in a beautiful pool with local traffic and people carrying on in their daily lives was a great experience for us. Our Pool View Room with air conditioning, free WiFi and breakfast cost less than AUD $50 a night! … un heard of. Such an easy spot to walk to the main part of Old Town, and the river, and a quick walk to Memories Land as well. Also, a fantastic family restaurant straight across the road, Hoang Local Foods. I would have been a little sceptical until I read the TripAdvisor reviews and they were correct! Really good cheap food! Thank you so much for our wonderful stay Yuong xxx
