The staff were all super friendly and polite and made the stay very enjoyable. They all made a special effort to make sure everyone had fun either with the kayaking, the evening cooking course, evening entertainment ect. The ship itself was very clean and the rooms were comfortable with beautiful views of the bay.

The food options were very limited for non seafood eaters. On the first lunch more than half of the buffet wasn’t available for one of the guests which made food options limited and pretty uninspiring. The dinner was also a set menu with only one option which was very restricting, with some odd flavour combinations (sea bass with banana purée)

Absolutely beautiful boat, with very lovely staff. We stayed in the sky deck family room, which was large, well-appointed, and very comfortable for our family. Ha Long Bay was stunning, and we had great weather, so the water temperature was perfect, and the included tours were fun.

Although the quality of the food was excellent, some of the set menu dinner items were questionable. We did the 3 day/2 night tour but as you are picking up and dropping off people doing the 1 night tour - you really just go back and forward to the same places / along the same route each day - would have liked to see more of the bays than just this repeated route.

This was an exceptional trip With so many to choose from you can get overwhelmed but you will not be disappointed with this The price point is a little more but you get what you pay for - the service is exceptional, room spacious and comfortable, pool and slide are great fun Jin, Alex and Tom were stand out members of the team and made our trip great fun From the moment to start it's so much nicer than the other over crowded check in - it's tranquil and serene I loved the movie on the deck in the evening - although hearing the karaoke singing from the other ships was often off putting 🤣 The cocktails and wine choices are great and delicious I would definitely do the two night as its a real break and relaxing

The food is a little disappointing in comparison to everything else - it's not bad its just ok - breakfast is good and some of the evening dishes were really tasty but on the whole it's just ok and never hot But then it is a tiny kitchen feeding a large number of people

The room condition and the quality of the meals all met & exceeded my expectations. The sky family suite was quite spacious and comfortable for 3 adults (it may be just okay for 4). The private balcony attached to the room was perfect for photos. The sceneries in Ha Long and Lan Ha Bay were magnificent regardless of the weather conditions, and the many cruises on the sea also made a good spectacle. I planned the trip as a combined birthday celebration for my parents in their 70s and thankfully they fully enjoyed the cruise experience. I was going for a vacation-y cruise so didn't really care about the activities, but the cooking class was an unexpected hit for my father :) All crew members were also very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

The morning activity on the second day was a bit too early; the back-and-forth transfer between the pier & the ship felt too long. Both were due to the height of the seawater so there's little they could do, but it did dampen the excitement a bit. It was also slightly disappointing that the ship moved only for a short period of time each day. Overall, 2D1N felt rushed, so I recommend more than 2 nights if you can afford it.

The host of the cruise, Chris, was absolutely fantastic! His friendly and humorous personality added so much energy and fun to the trip, making it truly memorable. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, each with its own private balcony offering stunning views. Communication was seamless and efficient, both prior to boarding and throughout the journey, ensuring a hassle-free experience. The crew was attentive and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. From the beautiful onboard amenities to the breathtaking scenery, everything exceeded expectations. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable cruise experience! 🌟

The itinerary was well-planned overall, but I felt a few adjustments could have made the experience even more seamless and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the weather affected our ability to fully enjoy all the activities, but the team handled the situation professionally. The food offered was delicious, though a bit more variety would have been appreciated, especially for those with dietary restrictions like avoiding pork or alcohol. As a group of three, the room was cozy and comfortable, though the addition of an extra bed made it feel a little snug. Considering we paid a percentage for the third person, a slightly larger room would have been ideal.

I booked a suite 2D1N for my boyfriend’s birthday. The cruise ship was modern and new, our room is super clean. They provided makeup service on the same evening we checked in. Chris (the cruise manager) and Jimmy and the rest of the crew were incredibly helpful and welcoming. They prepared my boyfriend a grand cake and a group of 6 crew members surprised him with a happy birthday song. The entire experience overall was excellent and I will come back to this cruise again. P/S: you can choose to do or not do the activities on board. Eg: fishing village

The cruise is perfect!! Gorgeous interior and great activities. The food was UNREAL!!! Some of the best food we have had in Vietnam. Big shoutout to Chris and his team for making it a great experience. Definitely one of the best cruises we saw as we sailed. This cruise is good for couples and friends who want a more chilled experience with brill facilities and food.

That things like karaoke are not included in the price and how expensive pick up and drop off is. Much cheaper to organise your own transport. We bought bus tickets from 12Go Asia for £10pp return and they wanted us to pay $45pp return!

I loved how punctual everything was and the staff were knowledgeable and kind. The kayaking, water slide and taking in the amazing views were everything I imagined. I can tell that the staff took extra effort to remember everyone and cater to different needs. We only stayed one night on this cruise but definitely a highlight of our Vietnam trip so far.

Bathtub water didn’t come out very quick, it seemed broken. I used the shower hose to help speed up filling up bath. The fruit ran out for lunch so we missed out. These were just minor things that didn’t really impact our experience. I definitely would recommend this cruise.

This was the most wonderful cruise we have ever been on! Words can´t describe it, you must come and experience it on your own. Everything is perfectly organized, all the staff are very friendly and trying to do the best for your satisfaction. Even though the weather wasn´t the best during our stay we absolutely loved every single minute of this cruise. Our cabin was just a dream and I almost didn´t want to leave it. They offer lots of different activities, the bay views are totally impressive and the food they serve here is very delicious. The only thing I would change is cruising time. Like the ship was anchored most of the time but I guess they have a reason for that. Also wi-fi didn´t work very well but honestly who would want to be online when you´re in such an amazing place! Highly recommend you to choose Capella for your Halong Bay cruise.

Staff were incredibly friendly / kind / enthusiastic. They work very long hours (we later found out for 3 weeks in a row before a day off) - but never show any sign of being tired, they are always dedicated to the guests - really lovely and impressive. The boat was very clean and excellently presented (even more impressive considering the rapid turn over of guests) The boat has a small pool onboard which is good for those worried about swimming in open water. Food (Particularly evening meal) was really excellent. If you have the time and money to- opt for the 3 day/2 night tour as this gives you the chance to go on a speedboat trip to an island (and more time to enjoy the excellent ship!)
