Phenomenal service, and the staff is outstanding. One of the best places we’ve ever stayed! The food, amenities, ambience and decor was amazing, perfect.

The hotel is a work of art, beautiful. The staff were super helpful and friendly. The room was clean and beautiful and the bath tube was my favorite part. It was our honeymoon and anniversary and the hotel had small presents for us, like fruits, a letter, etc which we really appreciated. It made it more special. Please try the spa, we had 2 massages and they were also a work of art. The pool is beautiful and the water is perfect. I personally love the decorations and the smell of the hotel, gorgeous, divine. I definitely want to go back ❤️

We loved everything

Best hotel in Hanoi and also one the best ever I have stayed in! If ever there is such a thing as a 6-7 star hotel, then this falls in that category with nothing short of a Michelin breakfast! We were spoilt to the point that everything else just doesn’t make sense anymore🤩. Rooms are incredibly beautiful and every single detail is impeccable. Bedsheets felt like my body was being massaged to sleep. The sounds of bustling Hanoi from the balcony across from the Sofitel in the exquisite French quarter were so soothing especially sitting in the luscious velvet chairs. What a hotel, what service, what a gem! Incredible establishment… simply the best

Very happy with the stay at a beautiful hotel. Every corner is art. All the staff are very professional and tentative. The team is passionate and polite. The meals at "Backstage" were up to standard. Eric and Duy were very helpful and friendly. The pool and steam room are clean with good service. I also participated in one of the extra cultural program to learn about traditional painting which elevated my stay at Hanoi. It was overall an immersive experience. I would recommend this hotel to traveler that is looking for memorable time.

The staff were all great and some were especially thoughtful. Some staff found out we were in a rush during breakfast so they offered to grab all of luggage from the rooms and pack it into the cars for us. Then another staff member packed a bunch of pastries from breakfast into boxes so we could enjoy them at our leisure since we had to rush. The toddler was super happy about this.

The experience was so great but it was only marred by the check in. We were supposed to check in by 3pm but somehow the room was not ready until 3:45pm which may not seem like a big deal but having traveled so far, we just wanted to get to our rooms to relax a bit. We were not even asking for an early check in. The staff were very pleasant regardless of the tardiness but I had to bring up this one deficiency.

From the very first step you enter the hotel you are treated like royalty with the upmost care and attentiveness for every detail. Even better than some of the “grand palace” hotels in Europe! Their Michelin restaurant meets the high Japanese excellence standards: every dish even more delightful for your taste buds than the previous one. And do not forget to have a night cap (or 2 :-)) in their upscale rooftopbar!

This hotel is an amalgamation of two of my fav brands: Capella and Bensley. Bill Bensley is one of the most innovative and over the top hotel designer. Every Bensley hotel tells a story, and everything in this playful hotel is inspired by the glamour of the iconic Opera House practically next door. The hotel is a mish-mash of elegant, individually designed and intimate rooms, my room was named Greta Garbo, and came with one of the best mini bars, silk eye masks and bottles of sleep mists, lovely free standing bathtub, and lots of quirky decorative details. Dinner was at Backstage, a color infused dramatic gem that serves delicious Northern Vietnamese food, and comes with generous flutes of champagne. The atmosphere and vibe throughout the hotel is nostalgic and fun, there were groups of glamorous ladies dressed up in the most diva outfits, 4 inch stilettos, taking loads of selfies in the very Instagramable space. This is my fourth Capella hotel (after Shanghai, Ubud and Bangkok), and the Capellla standard of service was excellent as usual. Met the director of operations the moment I stepped out of the Capella car (with a thousand snacks to tide you over), everyone else I interacted with was also fabulous. There are lots of hotel options in Hanoi but I don’t think I would ever want to stay anywhere in Hanoi.

They offer a full menu of complementary tea, coffee, non-alcoholic drinks and desserts, a great selection of savory bites and alcoholic drinks(during certain hours). The a-la-carte breakfast was fabulous. The service was attentive and effective and all the staff working in the hotel are extremely friendly. Been to top hotels and properties around the world in over 40 countries and I assure you that Capella Hanoi is definitely in the top tier. Came for Bill Bensley's design but in the end I will say that is only a minor part of the great things about this property. This is the third Capella that I have been to and I was never a big fan before, but Capella Hanoi completely changed everything. 10/10

The Capella Hotel exceeded all our expectations. It is located in the heart of Old Town/French Quarter and very walkable to many locations. The hotel is beautifully furnished and the staff were exceptional. A delicious breakfast was included w/ our room and we also had great meals for lunch and dinner. My husband scheduled a massage on the first day and it was so good that he scheduled additional massages for each day that we were there. I highly recommend the Capella if you are visiting Hanoi.

I loved everything about this property.

Capella really did a good job brining the French colonial opera vibes. Lot of the designs and concepts needed a very delicate and sophisticated touch, and I think Capella Hanoi really pulled it off nicely.

Bit disappointed about the American restaurant at the top floor. I believe a French fine dining would have been more fit to the concept of the hotel.
