Despite the very small room (we chose the cheapest option), the stay was very pleasant and we received a lot of help from the owner. I would like to pay attention to this the most because it is difficult to find such good people in life as the owner. She speaks very good English and helped us in Hanoi itself (where to eat, what to see), she helped coordinate the carriers who came to us there (she talked on the phone for us) and even after we left Hanoi All Nations Homestay, she helped us on WhatsApp with booking subsequent transports, with general information in which stores to buy, which ATMs to choose to have the lowest commission. This was extremely valuable considering the fact that it is not always easy to communicate in English, so such a person is a jewel in the crown and I wholeheartedly recommend staying at this Homestay to everyone.

The small room is quite specific, you can't stand in it because it is located above the kitchen (kind of like a mezzanine) and you have to climb into it with a ladder, which makes it rather impossible to sit comfortably in it for a long time (as a piece of advice, I would treat it more like a bedroom for visiting Hanoi - you have to remember that the price is really great compared to other hotels in the area) There are mega big cute cats inside, they are very nice but you can feel their smell a little (it's really delicate but I'm posting this comment for sensitive people)

We got an upgrade to the room with a view, and the views were awesome Anne was very helpful and nice Very cute & fluffy cats The area was very nice and full of excellent food & cafés in the daytime

The area was very wild and noisy at night The bathroom was very small, we could barely fit on the toilet. (If you are over 170cm, you definitely have to sit sideways on the toilet :D ) The balcony looked nothing like the pictures, but the views were amazing The amount of messages and information before arrival was a bit overwhelming, it became a bit difficult to find the info we needed, like where to get the keys We had some communication problems at the beginning with the host’s mother

Great location, right in the middle of a bustling entertainment precinct. Our room was the top floor, which had lovely views of the city and was clean and very private. There was plenty of natural light in the room and a small private bathroom inside the room suited our needs just fine. Anna and her family were welcoming, and Anna offered instant help anytime we needed it. We enjoyed having their washing service available too. The location was perfect too - easy walking distance to street food, restaurants, bars and cultural precincts. We would like to thank Anna for providing a wonderful welcoming home for us in Hanoi and we hope to visit again in the future.

One of the best things about this property is the central location, however its proximity to bars and clubs means the street noise is very loud at night time. We ended up buying earplugs from the local pharmacy and when using them the noise didn’t bother us too much at all.

I got upgraded into another room from my original booking, which was a plus. My impression on the room is based from just staying one night. For a single night I would say the room is good for the value, especially, for the location. The staff is friendly and speak English. The room has AC which helps to keep the room cool and the bed was comfortable.

The only downside of the room was having ants coming in even on the 4th floor. Other issues that could bother other guests would be how small the bathroom is. This didn't bother me as much because I'm an average height person to begin with. Also, there is 500,000 vnd deposit for the room key. I'm not sure if this is posted on the description and I just missed it, but it was a bit annoying to fork up 500,000 in addition to paying for the room. But remember, this 500,000 vnd deposit will be returned to you after returning the room key.

Right in the middle of everything! 10-20mins walking distance to a lot of places. The room is clean and comfy bed. Clean bathroom. Friendly staff!!

Only thing was that it’s in the middle of what seemed like the most popular area - so many pubs and restaurants opening late. You can hear loud music until 12-1am at night. We were able to sleep through though but it’s something to be mindful of. The stairs to the room were also narrow and gotta be careful when going up and down.

Amazing host! Taking care of everything you need and always avaliable. She organized our transfer to homestay from the airport for fairly price and transfers to Sapa and Cat Ba. She also speaks good english. The location is the best because everything you have to see in Hanoi is reachable by foot. The room is spacious and clean. You also have water and fridge avaliable in the room. The bathroom is small but it is clean, private and has everything you need. Would definetly recomend.

The view was amazing, the bed was really comfortable and the wifi was strong and reliable, the room was spacious and clean. The host is exceptionally kind, caring and really eager to get feedback to learn and improve. The location is right in the middle of the old town, close to most sightseeing attractions and just on the spot of the pulsing Hanoi.

I had no issue with these but it might be useful to mention. My room was on the fifth floor and there was no elevator. It is a busy street so the sound of the night life surrounds you but everything gets quieter by 11-12pm. The toilet is very close to the wall so people with long legs might need to pack themselves in there a bit.

The main reason why we loved this place was the amazing and friendly staff, Anna was so welcoming and helped us out with so much, including sorting a phone sim and giving advice on restaurants to visit and places to see. The two cats in reception were also super cute and friendly. The home is lovely, we had a double room on the third floor which had all basic amenities, a comfy bed, fridge, AC, fan and toilet/shower room. Not only was the room great, but we could not believe how good the location was, right in all the action of the old quarter and round the corner from beer street which was perfect, and it was so easy to get to all the sight seeing places as well. I will say that if you’re after a quieter stay, this may not be ideal as you can hear all the partying on the street at night, however this did not bother us at all and we enjoyed the nightlife. Thank you Anna for a really enjoyable stay!!

Our wonderful host ! 2 nice ladies and 2 nice kitties. They even offered us a free upgrade. Everything was wonderful and they have really good English which makes everything easier. The location was also perfect in the middle of the old quarter. Really lively and agreeable. The owner can also of course arrange transportation and tour for you. You will as well receive a PDF nice guidebook what's really helpful. We loved our stay in Hanoi all nation hotel and will come back for sure if we have the chance. Don't hesitate to cuddle the kitties as well they are both sweet furballs and will be super happy if you play a bit with them.

Lady that runs it is the sweetest person ever, her laundry service is really good and she helped us book at a taxi to the airport. Could check in at 3am which was very good and she made it very easy to do so. Location is as central as you can get and the rooms are pretty nice. Nice and spacious

Shower was a bit temperamental with the heat and you could hear a lot from the hall way and outside the room and there was in inside window so you could see every time anyone turned a light on.
