We specifically chose Saigon Prince because it directly fronted Nugyen-Hue walking street. It was perfect, that section of district 1 is my favourite as it has a real contrast of Saigon charm, nostalgia and modern delights. We stayed in an apartment which was much better as we were travelling with a child - we felt excellent value. Also the room looked over Nguyen-Hue street - which meant we had the most incredible district 1 view - perfectly looking straight at the apartment cafe block. Breakfast was servicable, staff were very friendly and helpful.

We really enjoyed the stay, the entire hotel was immaculate. We had some troubles with the swipe card in the lift, however, reception were extremely prompt with assitance.

Location was excellent and staff were very friendly and welcoming. Buffet breakfast was very good with an excellent range of cuisines. The room was very comfortable, matress a little on the firm side, but that's personal preference, we still slept well. Some reviws have mentioned the noise. The hotel is in the middle of a lively area, but the soundproofing is more than adequate and the music is over by midnight. We stayed mid-week.

There hotel was in a great location near the walking street in District 1. It is unfortunately very noisy at night with loud music until very late. After the second night of this we spoke to reception and were moved to a much quieter room. The staff were very apologetic and helpful. Sadly for them, this is out of their hands, but they were very accommodating in helping fix this problem. They even let us a beautiful card and bowl of fruit as an apology.

Excellent breakfast.

At the point of entering the room, it was a bit smelly -- due to air condition being off. The stuffy room was a bit surprise to me. Maybe at the time room is being cleaned for the next guest, the hotel can arrange for some room freshener so the guests to come aren't greeted with odd smell.

Great location, with a slightly old world charm, easy and value for money upgrade, clean, comfortable and easy access to all the great joints in District 1, a good walkabout and sense of safety too for solo travelers. Staff are friendly, service-oriented and always helpful. Food wise was ok, didn't really feel the Vietnamese selections, room coffee facilities can be better. There's access to Vietnamese coffee everywhere nearby, the Cafe Apartments is just opposite, Ben Tranh Market a walking distance, McDonald's just down the street, and Starbucks, Coffee Bean just next door. Around the corner there's Katinat Coffee, Ann Quan Vietnamese food, Madame Quyen (yummy pho!), Highland Coffee.

Room coffee facilities was bare minimum, 2 sachets of instant coffee (and not even Vietnamese coffee) and tea bags. That's it. Also, because it is facing the famous Pedestrian Walk, weekend party music can be heard till 4am in the morning. So be prepared. Though nothing much can be done.

Being on the main road, everything was easily approachable. But the main road being closed, we were dropped little away and had to pull our baggage for some distance which was very tiring for senior citizens. On the way back hotel person dropped us to a cab on the side road.

Property was good

Perfect location for Tết festivities, which is what were there to celebrate, very helpful staff, pretty good and varied breakfast.

There was a A/C outage for 36 hours, which is way too long when temperatures are high. The swimming pool is OK but there are only four long chairs, so quite hard to get a place to take on the sunshine.

I've tried different hotels in the Centre of HCM City, but Saigon Prince Hotel is defenitely the best hotel I've found considering price, services, staff and so on. I'll stay again there next time, for sure!! Also many Restaurants, Bars and BIG Takashimaya shopping Mall just few hundred meters away.

Location is excellent, right next to Nguyen Hue walking street. Food is also a plus. Breakfast choices are diverse and delicious. Room is convenient. The double bed is spacious enough for 2 adults (but not spacious if going with a 3-year-old kid). Master control system is convenient. Staff was helpful. All seems very professional.

Some minor things to improve: air conditioner control seems not very good, because we adjust to 30 degree Celsius but it was still cold; electricity socket is a strange type (perhaps it's UK type G), with only 1 adapter to help with commonly used plugs in Vietnam; the kettle is usable, but old and rusty, should be replaced.

Great position near the river and could walk to all attractions. Breakfast was very good. Rooms clean and cool . In Ho Chi Minh City humidity, having a calm, cool hotel to return to wax’s important . Staff were available when needed and everything was easy and smooth .
