The effort the hotel made to correct the issue that booking made. Booking cancelled our reservations for three days and was charged for the room.

Left in New Orleans with no hotel during marde gras week searching for a room. Booking cancelled our room and we were charged for it. After searching I still cannot connect with Booking. No phone number is available on the website. I will never do business with Booking again.

The price and location were really good. It's in a space that is quiet and cozy but not too far from excitement in all directions.

Because the hotel was completely full, we were not able to get maintenance on our toilet. The front desk was very nice and kind when we reported it. We were still able to use the toilet when we were in the room. Since we were mainly there to sleep it wasn't a big deal.

Was here for Mardi Gras, so the location is excellent! Parades pass right by hotel on St. Charles, quick walk to French Quarter and not too bad a walk to the Garden District, or anywhere in downtown. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, room had refrigerator, bed was very comfortable, room was sizable. They sell tickets to the stands out front (we didn't buy any) so that is convenient. Desk clerks were very nice and friendly, so were the housekeepers and maintenance and security staff we encountered.

Windows have some old film or something on the outside of them, very odd, can't really see out the best. Rooms are kind of outdated, though the mattress seemed new. Cafe in hotel is not so great, mainly because the staff there is rather indifferent, a little rude and not friendly, which is odd as it is the complete opposite of the desk clerks, housekeepers and maintenance staff at the hotel who are very friendly and helpful. Kind of expensive considering the state of the rooms, but then again, it was Mardi Gras, so you have to expect that....

I more than appreciated and enjoyed the top floor room on the corner of hotel. The view of the city was spectacular. I did not expect such a room especially since booking onine via an app, I assumed I wouldnt be provided such a room. Taylor went over and beyond my expectations. Due to her choice...my fiance and I stayed longer than anticipated (a week). I'd even had an unexpected situation come about that left me with over booking. Gary ( the manager) made it such an ease to correct the problem. Their hospitality and customer service made our stay exceptional. Chanel and Kim was also a great help to us during our stay. Their attitudes made the only negative encounter (the older african american lady who's always remained sitting behind the front desk working the wee hours) not even matter. Last but not least the restaurant and bar "Cafe on the Corner" sealed the deal. "My bartender" lol Kenneth made my days. He recommended my meal (grilled red fish) and it was delicious. He was great to converse with from the start and loved getting to know. He was gracious to us as well as the other guest I witnessed him serving. I personally truly appreciated his personality and relatability.

The older lady Id mentioned who works late hours. I didnt care at the time to catch her name due to her energy being very toxic from a distance. She doesnt greet you as you come in..us nor our kids when they'd come over for a couple nights. When asked for an extra pillow or blanket (which we were told we could get by two younger ladies earlier in the day, but decided to get once we'd returned) before even taking the time to look she'd objected our request. When asked for towels to accomadate us as well as kids she'd stated she did not have enough. Her tone and mannerisms was not welcoming nor pleasant.

Good location, you can visit bourbon street and when you’re done go away from the chaos. The staff also went ahead and upgraded our standard room to a sweet and no extra charge.

A little peeved they did away with self parking which was cheaper than the 45 a day valet fee.

Great location on the Mardi Gras parade route! Close to public parking. Able to purchase parade stand tickets and there is a good arm band system for entrance to hotel and different colors of armbands for different access to stand areas.

Slow elevator and more detailed cleaning needed in bathroom, although toilet, sink, and bathtub were clean. A second exit/entrance is needed for street parade stands access and couldn't bring chair in for elderly sister, yet one lady was blocking the lowest row in bleachers path with her chair to hold her beads so everyone had to climb on the bleachers to get around her. The first row doesn't have enough room to pass people. It would also be nice to allow chairs for elderly people on the second floor balcony even if the chair had to stay away from the front, at least they could sit down when needed.

Our room was clean and had everything we needed. We used the coffee maker and refrigerator and desk. Bathroom had all the essential stuff. We were perfect walking distance to everything WW2 museum, convention center, French Quarter, and more.

Had everything we needed. Very comfy bed, good facilities, strong water pressure in shower. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful with any issues we had. Didn't take long to get into the French Quarter from where we were staying, plus hotel was directly on parade route which was amazing!

Super expensive during Mardi Gras, but I guess to be expected. Safe was low on batteries so we didn't use it just in case our belongings were locked in

Staff was EXCELLENT-Very friendly and professional...check in was seamless.

The Cabinet storing the microwave and coffee pot was hanging off the hinges. The bathroom lighting fixtures were worn and peeling. There was a large visible crack in the wall over tub-Add there were water bottle caps from the previous guest under the night stand.

We had a great time, the hotel was right on the Parade route for Mardi Gras 2022. It was really cool to just walk out and start enjoying the festivities. It was a great value, a little dated but unbeatable for the price and location!

The only downside was the lack of a garage or pre-arranged parking deals with nearby lots or garages. There is a garage on the same block but they aren't 24 hours.
